Had an order of the Ma Po Tofu(~$ 6): soft tofu w/veggies in a sauce over rice. Food was delicious, staff was working hard, and the ambiance was collegiate.

Hole in one! This spot’s great, right by the college. It’s actually the closest place to eat off campus. I usually get the Kung pao chicken or the veggies with chicken. The lady is very nice; you can tell it’s a family business. Dine in or take out. Great place to go to if you’re looking for Chinese in between classes.

Kinda grimy. Tried Mongolia Chicken, it’s was just ok. The service was good and the waitress was friendly. I don’t think I’ll be back. My friends Hunan dish wasn’t that great either.

Went there with my roommate in a Wednesday, it was mostly crowded by DVC Chinese students which was way too awkward for me. First of all, this place doesn’t look like a restaurant. I was like where is the cashier, or where is the kitchen and blah blah blah. Second, the water provided by the restaurant tasted horrible, the worst water I’ve ever drunk in my life. And third, the food was descent but I rather prefer hundred times Green Garden which is around a mile away, because their pricing is cheaper than here so as they do have lunch deals! Just a star due to the decent customer service. Never gonna come back, even its just a block away from home, and the closest restaurant.

I ordered the Beef Chow Fun $ 6.95 and the Peking Pork Chops $ 8.95 for takeout. The pork chops were delicious but small portion. By the time I brought it home, the pork chops were not crispy anymore but still has the great taste with sweet sauce. The chow fun has good flavor but mediocre portion. The place is small and needs updating. Thank goodness the restroom was pretty clean. I would give Little Dragon 4 stars if they gave larger portions and don’t raise the prices. The food tastes a lot better than Panda Express. Not sure if I’ll go back because of the portion sizes for the price.

This restaurant had a new owner now but for many years i eat my lunch here in this restaurant and love how clean the place is and food is usually pretty good for the price. after all is a fast food place. Most their customers are students from DVC. When this owner took over the restaurant i starting to see the changes and how sloppy the new management is handling the foods here. The last time i ate here the chicken had a funny smell, it was not fresh but has bad taste and so I told the owner about it. He said to me; Quote: you don’t have to eat here if you don’t like our food, Unquote. Well, that is an attitude. I never come back to this place for my quick lunch after that. And I have been thinking about making the complaint to the health dept. They just can’t sever bad food and get away with it.

DONOTEATHERE, and let me tell you why. I have visited this restaurant three times already and each time the food was a horrible disappointment. Why I have gone there three times is a wonder since the first plate of food that I paid for was the worst food I have eaten in a while, and yet I attempted suicide twice more(i believe in giving people chances to redeem themselves). On my first try I got their seaweed soup, which I have had many times before at other restaurants and quite like, but the soup smelled like bath water! It was so bad that I could not even eat the rest of it. Not only that but there was supposed to be tofu in it soup but there was none. The second time around I went and got sesame chicken. That was a disastrous experience to put it shortly. I’m not a chef but I know that that dish was not chicken, I know that much. The sauce was simply sweet sauce and it tasted mediocre. Whatever the meat was it was covered in excessive batter and was as good as rubbish. The third time I figured that I would be safe getting their Mongolian beef since I figured it would be hard to fake the tasted of beef, but low and behold I was wrong! I would bet my life that they are not using really beef in this dishes. It was so disgusting I just quietly paid and left. So here I am. I hope that this helps all the innocent food lovers who may, unbeknownst to the quality of food, stumble into this wretched establishment to buy a good meal. The prices are low for a reason people, what they are serving is not beef or chicken ITSLIES! it feels like a deal only if your willing to sacrifice your health. Spare yourself the stomach ache and eat elsewhere. If I could rate this lower than one star I would!

I went there today to get some hot and sour soup. I’ve been here one other time when they first opened. I asked for the soup he told me 7 dollars. Which seemed quite expensive for the amount you get. So as he brings me my food and I’m walking out I noticed the price is 5.95. I did not like the fact that when I came home the soup was quite bland with way too much egg in it. I’m almost done, I figure I paid for it I have to eat it, then I find a hair! I will never ever walk into that restaurant again. The first clue should have been there wasn’t anybody in the restaurant at all.

It’s a nice little hole in the wall that is the epitome of cheap Chinese food: fast, cheap, greasy, filling, and decent. During my two years at DVC, whenever I didn’t feel like making my own food or buying overpriced lunches at the college, I would come here. In fact, a lot of students come here for the nice, quick, and efficient service. For the price of about $ 6.50 to $ 8.00 you can get a rice plate meal(or just a plate of fried rice) with very generous portions that could last you till your next meal if you decide to pack it for later. However, be forewarned, this IS a cheap hole in the wall Chinese place. Don’t expect the best Chinese food you’ve ever tasted. Nonetheless, students — especially foreign students — flock here like birds migrating wherever they migrate to during the winter months. Simply put, if you’re hungry and you don’t want to burn a hole in your pocket by eating overpriced food on campus, come to this nice little hole in the wall. It will keep both your stomach and your wallet full.

It’s good! I recommend the Yang Chow Fried Rice! Save me plenty of time when I’m busy during the week or too lazy to cook haha there’s another dish that’s pretty good but I forgot the name basically it’s chicken/beef with white sauce kind of mayonaisse-y

This restaurant’s menu is only like 50 cent to a dollar more expensive than other Chinese restaurants. The dish I tried was Chicken Chow Fun. It was pretty delicious and the wait time was very short. although it was a bit greasy, the veggies and the chicken were cooked well. over all it was delicious but not amazing. I would give it 3.7 stars for the dish I was served.

A very nice place to go and have lunch or dinner, especially if you’re a student at DVC! Got a gap in between your classes and don’t feel like settling for the crapeteria food? Don’t feel like moving your car and losing that barebones/good parking space? Want to eat before sitting down for about 3 hours in your 7pm night class? Then go to the Little Dragon to get your fill in! The restaurant is open from 11am to 9:30pm. Just a warning for credit/debit card users: If your order isn’t at least $ 15 or more, then you’ll be charged a .50 cent fee, due to rising card charges. The waiter, who is a very quiet and nice girl, takes your order and gets it in the kitchen very quickly. She’s very good at making sure that your cup of water is taken care of without you even asking! The food there is awesome! The Mushroom Chicken comes with vegetables such as zucchini, carrots, celery, and onions! I normally order the beef chow mein/fun there, and it is cooked to perfection! The beef with scrambled egg is also a great dish. The way that the eggs are cooked with the beef is just simply amazing! The orange chicken is one of the best I have ever had! Very crispy, and the sauce goes perfectly with the fried rice!

The place is close to DVC, it’s cheap, good, and fast. What more do you want?!? It’s a hole-in-the-wall. It’s better than Panda Express, it’s a mom & pop — come on people! If you didn’t like it, you probably ordered the wrong thing like the dude who ordered orange chicken. Panda does the same stuff, overbread it. Their lunches are between $ 5.50 — $ 6.95. Overall it’s a good value.

This restaurant has recently come under new management, and so the poor reviews it received earlier should not be considered. The phone number listed on this site is also incorrect. The correct number is(925) 798‑3388. The service here is fantastic — the deliver woman is very friendly, and the prices are excellent for the amount of food you receive. The food here is delicious — the best fried rice I’ve had in CA– so moist. I usually get the orange chicken or the orange beef, but the General Tso’s chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Chicken Fried Rice are also good. Combination plates are good too, and well priced. Delivery is free if you order more than $ 20 worth of food, and since I live in the DVC area, delivery has always been fast.

I really hate writing bad reviews, but this is warranted. I got orange chicken and fried rice. The orange chicken barely had chicken. It was all batter. It didn’t even taste like orange at all, more like lemon chicken. The worst part was I could taste the burned/overused cooking oil. Barely edible. The rice was better, but not by much. Had a large amount of egg in it, which saved it. For the same $ 6.50, I could have had some much better Chinese food at Panda Express. Hopefully this place can turn things around…

Their food had no taste. We ordered wanton soup because it was so cold outside. I had to add a lot of soy sauce to it because it was so bland. The food didn’t have a bad taste just not a good one. Unless you like bland food, don’t come here.

Little dragon is a hole-in-the-wall place that serves cheap, sub-par food. I ordered the mandarin fried chicken($ 5.50). It came out in about 10 minutes but I noticed that most orders came out in 5 minutes or less. Anyway the order came with soup and your choice of steamed or fried rice. The soup was alright. However, the fried rice was bland as there wasn’t much of anything in it. The chicken was not that great as there was not much meat but a hefty amount of batter and skin. The sauce was nothing special. In short: food is pretty bad, rice was disappointing, price was great, service was good… but honestly the price, large portions and ok service can’t make up for low quality food. I’m not coming back.
