While heading back to the desert, my hubs and I were getting hungry and since I knew he had never had PUS before, I figured it was time to change that! We were craving chicken and I was über excited about the cream cheese wontons. After picking two chicken dishes, I walked in and saw the family deal meal, which includes two chicken entrees, chow mien or fried rice, white or brown rice, four cream cheese wonton and four dumplings. After comparing the prices, I realized what a better deal the family meal was, so placed an order for the house special spicy chicken and general taos, with chow mien and white rice. We added a regular drink, with the total coming out to a $ 30 and some change. Everything came out beautifully in a large container, which was perfect for eating in our car. Since we couldn’t bring our dog into the restaurant, it ended up working out perfectly. I normally get the house special chicken which is made in a soy-based sauce and asked for it to be very spicy. It wasn’t very spicy but to be fair, most ‘asian’ dishes served in an Americanized restaurant rarely meets my spice standards. The general taos had a nice crisp to it but lacked veggies that help make the dish. The chow mien was a bit too greasy for me but I was pleasantly surprised at how many different types of veggies they added. The wontons and dumplings were cooked perfectly and paired well with the soy sauce they give. The restaurant itself was very clean and pretty deal for a Monday night. My hubs was a big fan, so I’m sure we’ll be back in the near future.

Do not go here! HORRIBLE customer service!!! May 26. Wonton Wednesday. Walked in as a family of five, one of us in crutches. No one in line and only two tables occupied. A manager and three other employees stood around behind the counter. We stood there for five minutes with no acknowledgement and decided to leave. As we slowly walked out they looked up but didn’t say anything. The most HORRIBLE customer service possible. I will not be bringing my family here again and definitely not recommending this place to anyone.

So the man at the counter who took our order was super sweaty! He wiped his head then took my card with his sweaty hand. Not friendly. Food is barely better than panda express. Better options elsewhere. Won’t be back.

I went here today and prices for lunch are decent. They have a really good selection. I ordered the house chicken with white rice and an egg roll. Service was great– the woman who took my order was very sweet. I waited maybe 5 minutes for my to go order. Lunch portion sizes are generous too. Freshly prepared food is always a good thing. Everything I ordered was amazing. I’ll definitely be back!

Food has always been great here but the restaurant is in need of cleaning. Seems they have forgotten how to clean the tables and sweep the floors.

I had been looking forward to trying this place for over a year. Finally, I took my daughters last night. I was not impressed and probably will never eat here again. It wasn’t terrible but Panda is better and cheaper. I had the chow mein, honey chicken, Thai coconut curry, and wontons. The chow mein was pretty salty and the honey chicken was bland. The curry wasn’t bad. My kids liked the dumplings and wontons. I thought they were okay. We had leftovers and they went straight to the trash.

Love this place! Staff was amazing from start to finish! It was like having a fancy restaurant experience but without the cost. I enjoyed how they have vegan options and lots of flavors, you won’t be disappointed. We ate in house a were offered chocolate covered fortune cookies! YUM!

Pick up stix has always been great. I love their House chicken with peanuts added in, and I love the cream cheese wontons. Can be a little pricey, but the lunch special is a great deal!

We have been coming here since it opened. We have never, ever, had a bad meal. I love the house chicken, my husband likes the tofu. We always get the fried rice, freshly fried and yummy!, the fabulous fried wontons, never over cooked and dry, like Panda’s. The manager, John, is pleasant, professional, and always working while we are there. Everything is clean and someone(usually John) checks on us to make sure we are happy. The restrooms are clean and the décor is passable.(nothing to write home about). We eat here several times a month and we are happy. Oh, and this may not be important to anyone else, but, they have Fresca! We love it!

Love their house chicken! Love that you smell the aroma of that deliciousness from their parking lot. Their orange chicken is super yummy, as well as their dumplings and crispy wontons! I also love that everything is made to order, but you don’t have to wait forever! They’re fast efficient and delicious! They are premium high class Chinese food, but affordable. Can’t say enough about how yummy their food is!

It’s freshly made & yummy! I had some chicken curry; really nice with colorful vegetables & rice. My daughter had chicken teriyaki, rice, mandarin oranges & a drink(kids eat free/no charge)-nice Plus we shared those cream cheese wontons, also yummy. I’ve been here before & had other items, always a pleasure :-) nice customer service too & clean cool atmosphere if you plan on dining there. Took mine to go.

This is the best orange chicken I have ever had. Food is not pre cooked. So it came out hot and fresh. Good serving size too. A+. Friendly service.

It was my first time here last night, & I asked the cashier what the most popular chicken entrée was and he suggested the House Special. So I got that and upgraded my rice to chow mein instead(for an extra charge.) Biggest mistake incoming here. The chicken tasted burnt, and the chow mein was bland. It was so bad, I didn’t even finish half my food. I don’t have anything against experimenting with food places, but this place just didn’t cut it for me. If you want fast food Chinese, go to a Panda Express instead! or if you’re not looking specifically for Chinese food, there a Jersey Mikes subs just next door.

I tried Pick Up Stix about a year and a half ago, and the food was over salted and took FOREVER to come out of the kitchen and the service was very«cool». So I have opted to stay away since then. Today that all changed. After a morning of shopping I was headed to Jersey Mikes with the hubs cause he loves that place(read my review to see what I think of them), when he says…“let’s give Pick Up Stix anothet try”. So we did. It was very nice. I had the«Red Thai Noodles» and the hubs had the«Chicken Chowmien». It took about 5 minutes to get out food, the service was very friendly, and both dishes were yummy! I was relieved to note that they have scaled waaaaayyyy back on the use of the salt shaker, and there was nice flavors and good balance with both plates. The portions were perfect, and the price fit the portion size. We got out for just under $ 18 at lunchtime. I would certainly eat there again, and I can recommend the Red Thai Noodles to anyone who likes their food a little on the spicy side.

It was my first visit to a Pick Up Stix today, and it will definitely be my last. I ordered a House Special Chicken Combo with noodles, figuring I couldn’t go wrong with a house recipe. It was prepared quickly enough, no complaints on that front, and the cashier was both friendly and helpful. So far so good, but it’s all downhill from there. The chicken was overcooked, dry, and almost entirely flavorless. The sauce on the noodles and chicken was way too salty and everything left an unexpectedly bad bitter aftertaste. The cream cheese rangoons were soggy and bland. As hungry as I was, I couldn’t bear to finish the dish, even though the portion was not very filling at all. The price is far too high here with no justification in either quality nor in quantity. Steer clear of Pick Up Stix if you have an adequate sense of taste. You’ll be better off at Panda Express, with bigger portions and better tasting faux-ethnic items.
