Dragon Garden

This is one of my favorite Chinese food places to eat, especially when I’m not counting calories :) The girls here work quickly to get you in and out. I can appreciate that! My favorites are their coconut shrimp (omg it’s so amazing!), the chicken & mushroom, chow mein and fried rice. Everything I’ve tried has been pretty darn good. Oh! They have almond chicken you can have made to order. It’s so tasty! Only takes maybe 10 minutes to wait for it to be made and it comes with white rice. Their servings are massive. I always share my order with my daughter (she loves their rice).
Tonight the broccoli beef wasn’t quite on par with past visits. The meat was grisly and just not good. There have been times the coconut shrimp was not as fresh as I’d like, hence the 4 star. But usually this place is on point. Oh and their egg rolls and crispy shrimp are delish too!

This was my first time coming to this location and I would say that it’s way better than the other ones. The workers are really friendly and the portions are really big for the price, plus they pack on a lot of food which is always a plus! Would certainly recommend this place for anyone.

Exterior looks new and fine. Service is excellent. But food? Teriyaki chicken did not taste like chicken, I call that mystery meat. Coconut shrimp tasted ok. So did bbq pork. Portion size is huge. Thai Boba Tea tasted ok. If in doubt, pick something else? With that said, unfortunately, I won’t be coming back to this restaurant, there are too many other Chinese restaurant in Palmdale for me to choose from and this is not the one.

Service and food is good. I ordered shrimp fried rice and it was enough for at least four people. Plenty of shrimp. I would go back!

Some reviews here are just way too brutal and sound self serving. This food is delicious. I had the orange chicken and the coconut shrimp. Both were surprisingly great and since there’s way too much food, I would recommend getting a two item combo and splitting it between two people.
Please use the opportunity to get the two free egg rolls, they are very delicious.

I visited this location with my special needs students and had an excellent experience. The two staff Members were kind, professional and efficient. The prices are excellent! I can’t wait to visit that location again with my students! Great deals and the walnut shrimp is delicious.

Inexpensive and really good food. Went on New Year’s Eve and they took my large order and the wait was 15 mins.

Rice and noodles had a refrigerated after taste but I ordered orange chicken which wasn’t bad and teriyaki chicken was good.

We love this place so much! The food is delicious! Fresh, and very reasonably priced. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly! Love it!!!

Food:
The food at this restaurant is delicious. I’ve eaten at this particular Dragon Garden restaurant location a dozen of times. They give large portions which is why this place gets very busy at lunch and dinner times. I always order Combo C which comes with either chow mein or fried rice or you can do half and half (I always order just the fried rice), and it comes with two other entrée items. I always order the coconut shrimp and either the barbecue pork or black pepper beef. The coconut shrimp almost taste like honey walnut shrimp (my favorite) and the black pepper beef has this unique taste to it that I can’t explain. It’s just delicious. Also, I tried their orange chicken and it is good. It tastes more authentic than Panda Expresses orange chicken.
I’ve tried their teriyaki chicken, however, and it isn’t great. The teriyaki sauce, in my opinion, does not taste like teriyaki sauce. It taste just like thickened dark soy sauce. It is very salty. This is something that needs to be changed.
Environment:
The restaurant is pretty clean with clean bathrooms. This restaurant is pretty new so that is expected. Restaurant cleanliness is something I always look for when deciding where to dine out.

Service:
Good service at this restaurant. Once you walk in you will be helped immediately (assuming its not during peak hours). From my visits, turnaround time from ordering my take-​out food to leaving is about five minutes or less.
Cost:
I get my moneys worth when I order my food here because the portions are big. I normally would still have enough left overs for my next meal. I pay around $ 7.00+ for the Combo C.
The Verdict: Wo huì huílái de!

Rude ass hell is an understatement. First time there I felt rushed she didn’t even let me finish thinking out loud b4 piling on the food. My son and I both got combo with one side and she charges combo with 2 for one of the orders. I told her very kindly we order one side each and she becomes very nasty saying she gave extra orange chicken. I told her ma’am we didn’t ask for extra orange chicken and with an attitude refunds the money. I’ll never go back and the food is bland and nasty to say the least. I’ll eat at dry panda express b4 I ever step foot in that establishment.

Reviews here are pretty good so I decided to give it a try. It’s my first time and I already know I’m coming back here. It’s very affordable especially for a college student. Their portions are really big and very delicious. I got chow mein with the coconut shrimp and kung pao chicken. I also got a large boba Thai tea. Very superb, the boba is just the right consistency for my liking.

I have to admit, that I am a very picky eater especially when it comes to Chinese food. Make no mistake, I know my Chinese!
And Dragon Garden did not disappoint! I ordered off the menu and it was very tasty with a large portion. I went back again the next day!
VERDICT: Will Return.

Best Chinese food in the antelope valley, it’s a must try. Large portions, staff are very pleasant and welcoming.

I come to dragon garden often. My only wish was that they served their sweet chili fish, perhaps every other day rather than on Friday’s only. Their noodles, orange chicken, and spicy chicken along with their sweet chili fish is absolutely amazing. I love their food. This place is also extremely clean, which is great. Employees are also great.

Good food and good sever, try coconut shrimp and boba tea drink，Food is fresh and place is clean. Wor won ton soup you much try 。

Food was delicious! Everything was fresh and hot. We ordered the combo for 6. The portions were huge!!! Well worth the money. The staff was very patient and polite. Broccoli in the Beef & Broccoli was cooked perfectly. Bright green and flavorful. Fried rice was great and not dry. Shrimp Chow mien was great; noodles were perfect and shrimp was not tiny. My children enjoyed the orange chicken; fresh, crunchy, and not over sauced. The coconut shrimp was incredible! — a must to order. Egg rolls and cream cheese won tons were not over fried either. Cook knows whst he is doing. Thai tea boba was a nice treat too. We will be back for sure!!!

I ordered the cashew nut chicken and orange chicken. The cashew nut chicken was okay (Dragon Palace’s cashew nut chicken has a much better flavor) and the orange chicken was soggy (I like it crispy). I wouldn’t go here again.
Dragon Garden is okay but Dragon Palace (
) has better flavor. And I would pick Panda Express over Dragon Garden as well.

The food is really good and they give u a very big portion. Also the customer service is good, I loved the coconut shrimp. Great addition to the westside
