First time ordering from here. Delivery took 35 minutes longer than they said. It is a busy Friday night and I’m not just across the street. The good was not hot but the flavor was exceptional. Awesome Crab Rangoon. The Shrimp in the lomein was big enough for a few bites and was juicy. I will likely order again.

Great place to eat Chinese. Food is fantastic and the workers and great. My favorite are the shrimp fried rice and the orange beef. The portions are big and I always leave full with leftovers. I would give this place a try.

Ordered delivery through Unilocal on a Saturday night. Delivery took longer than they anticipated, 1 hr and 15 minutes. But other than that, no complaints. Food was good and reasonably priced.

The Chinese place we have been going for years is pretty subpar now. We looked for a new place to try, and found this one. Everything was superb! The Chinese fried donuts were fluffy and delicious, all of the entrées were hot and cooked thoroughly and delicious, the appetizers were wonderful and cooked perfectly. The crab Rangoon were my favorite and probably the best I’ve ever had! Recommend this place I would definitely.

Honey Sesame chicken was super yum. Everything was fresh and real(actual chicken, imagine that) not oily or greasy like some places. Portions were generous, my husband and I split the HS chicken and still had plenty left over. Deliver was fast and courteous. We will order again.

I’m in town on business, and had a craving for some Chinese. NOT Panda Express!!! Was very satisfied with the quality and quantity of food, amazed at the price(appetizer, meal and a cola for under $ 14), and will return next time I am in town!

Great go-to place for Chinese food! Tasted fresh with good portions of meat rather than just mostly vegetables. The donut balls were soft and warm and not too sweet after the meal. Definitely ordering again!

Wow, to find a great Chinese Restaurant in Overland Park that delivers. There need to be more restaurants that do. The Hot Sour soup had a nice kick, and the steamed dumplings were delicious as were the egg rolls. Tried two main entres: the House Special Schezwan with steak, chicken and shrimp, and the 3 combo fried rice. The main dishes were very good, although I tend to like Schezwan food a little more spicy. I’ll ask next time for a kickup in the heat. Plenty left over for a couple of lunches. Bonus of sweet rolls sprinkled with sugar were also included:) Prices are fair as was the delivery charge. Delivery took about 35 minutes, not bad for a Saturday evening. Using the Unilocal order and delivery system worked well, and they give you various options on tip. Driver was from the restaurant, so no third party delivery. Will definitely order from them again, and try other menu items. Only con was no To-go menu in the package. Will ask for one next time.

I tried this place for the first time. Went with the old standby of General’s chicken. Portions were huge for the price. Really good value. Only tried the one dish, but it was good Chinese and I look forward to trying some of their house specialties.

This place used to be my go to delivery Chinese. The food is good and arrives hot. But it’s pretty overpriced. there is a minimum you have to spend and a fee. I think it’s a bit ridiculous but the food was never really late and was good quality. There is definitely cheaper delivery Chinese, but this is worth a try if you love getting your Chinese food delivered!

Surprise to find this authentic Chinese restaurant in Overland Park. Very close to Sprint campus and hotels. Both Szechuan style spicy and Nanjing style non-spicy cuisines are available. Make sure you ask for the menu in Chinese, which does have good English descriptions.

Food was over-salted and the meat was rubbery. Seems like other folks have had a good experience here, so we were very surprised that it was so mediocre. Good value and portion size, but the food we had was very underwhelming.

Husband and I were in OP for the weekend. We arrived late Friday PM and were craving some good Chinese since what we have at home is AWFUL. Picked this place cuz it was close to out hotel and had good reviews… we were NOT disappointed! HUGE portions and great food. The general tsao’s chicken was soooo good… chicken was lightly breaded and crispy. I hate when chinese places coat their chicken in ridiculous amounts of breading and then you end up with soggy chciken mush with some sauce. Also got the pepper and onion beef… pretty typical but the beef had great flavor. Fried rice was also good. Reallymy only complaint was that the gal didn’t give us any silverware in our to go order!

I live in Eastern Shawnee, off of Shawnee Mission Pkwy and Nieman. I found this place from Grub Hub. All I wanted was good Chinese delivery, which is difficult to find even though I am surrounded by several Chinese food restaurants. None of which deliver. Well one does but I will not even eat in the restaurant let alone let them deliver to me. For 24.64(including tip) I received 6 steamed dumplings(4.85) and an order of Kung Pao chicken with substitute Lo Mein(10.95). The rest was Grub Hub fees and tip. First of all, completely impressed that a Chinese restaurant off of College Blvd was willing to deliver to Shawnee. The dumplings are wrapped in a light dough. I replaced the rice for Lo Mein which is tasty and no need for soy sauce. Plus the Kung Pao chicken is a generous portion. The price of 24.64 includes Grub Hub tip, my own tip, and the food I am quite pleased and have lots of leftovers. ,

This is one of my «go-to» neighborhood Chinese places — the food has always been good and the prices are very reasonable. The menu includes the usual favorites at U.S. Chinese restaurants but there is also a separate menu(just ask) of more«authentic» dishes in the northern Chinese style, like clay pots stews, which are great cold-weather food! I don’t know why there always seem to be few diners here in the afternoon and evening(even though Nan Jing is just across the street from JCCC). The food is good and they deserve more business! They seem to do a good take-out business, though. This is also a great place for an inexpensive dinner because, unlike many local Chinese restaurants, Nan Jing offers a selection of fixed-price dinner specials(like the more usual lunch specials) for $ 7.99 that includes an entrée, rice, an egg roll and a crab rangoon. Like another of my «go-to» neighborhood favorites, Chinese Palace, Nan Jing is also convenient for a bite before an event downtown because it’s easy to get on I-435 and U.S. 69 just down Quivira Rd. from this small shopping center at College and Quivira. Like most Chinese restaurants, Nan Jing will make a dish for you if it’s not on the menu as long as they have the ingredients in the kitchen. I was hungry recently for an old standby when I lived in San Francisco, beef with bean curd. The cook and some of the staff speak limited English, so I had a brain wave and used Google Translate on my iPhone to write the name of the dish and the ingredients in English and have it translated into Chinese! Since I don’t speak or read Chinese I have no way to know how good those translations are, under ordinary circumstances, but I guess they’re OK because the cook understood everything and the dish came out exactly as I hoped. That’s probably as good an endorsement for Google’s translator as I can think of! I may have to come up with another dish I’d like them to make to test it further!

I was in town at the double tree and wanted delivery that I could order online. Nan Jing came up first. What a great luck of the draw! Very very affordable ! The steamed dumplings were standard date and delicious. The hot and sour soup was a little thick but tasted fresh and was spicier than norm, which made me happy. The spring rolls were average but the combination platter(I had beef and broccoli w fried rice) comes with an egg roll and crab Rangoon. Very generous portions, average to above average food and all that was delivered for less than $ 20, came hot and friendly. Two minor complaints: no chopsticks even though I requested them and no napkins. A great staple pick — came as I expected the meals to be and taste and better than I thought it would be.

Found this place as I was driving by and decided I’d give it a try for my dinner-fix. Upon entering, I immediately noticed it was very stuffy and had fluorescent lighting, so I decided to order carry out instead of dining in. Though the atmosphere wasn’t great the customer service was pretty good. The man at the cash register was very nice and cordial. I decided to order the Combo Fried Rice and Egg Rolls. It was ready in less than 10 minutes and the portion size was larger than I was expecting. The food was fantastic and they didn’t skimp on the meats in the Combo. It was also provided in a microwavable dish, which I haven’t seen from a Chinese takeout before(usually just the standard takeout cartons). This came in handy because I work a night shift and I couldn’t finish it, so my only option was to pop it in the fridge and microwave the next day, which was still very good even reheated.
