Really really fast and good lunch special. Staff is really friendly. I had the general tsos and it was good. Better than a lot of Chinese places. I would probably try another type next time to see how the sesame or orange chicken is. The crab rangoons were good.

2 stars is generous. Okay at best if in a hurry and no choice but food is very marginal. The worst hot &sour soup ever… its not even palatable. Rice is gluey. Is what it is but no way is this 3 star or better Chinese restaurant… makes Panda Express… a solid 3.5, look like gourmet Chinese. Sorry. Just honest review.

Ordered food for pick-​up and it was ready before I even knew what to do with myself. Tons of food for the price and it’s all very good. I recommend the General Tso’s!

Finally! Quality dumplings that don’t fall apart before you even get to eat them! Their brown sauce is epic too! I also really liked their ribs! I just think they should put the English speaking/​understanding guy on the phone to begin with. Orders would be faster that way and we wouldn’t have to keep repeating ourselves… That’s why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Just moved to the area and was looking for a good Chinese place. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised when we tasted the food. Not only were the portions large, but they tasted great. I had the sweet and sour chicken and the container was filled to the max with chicken! My husband had the General Tso chicken and said it tasted good, but it wasn’t very spicy. Next time we may ask for them to make it extra spicy. The egg rolls were tasty and not over-​fried like some places. The egg drop soup came in pretty god size containers and tasted fantastic. We are so happy we found a great tasting place with very reasonable prices. We will definitely be going back!!!

I love this place! I have never had a bad meal. The employees are so nice. The crab rangoon are great. Delivery is always quick.

Best and cheapest chinese lunch in town! Monstrous lunch special portions for $ 5-​$ 6… General Tso’s & Pepper Chicken are my favorites. Only complaint is the fortune cookies make no sense!

Once in a while we get a craving for cheap Chinese, either for a quickie lunch, or dinner delivery. This place is the closest to my house, and it’s reasonably good… not gonna wow you, but not gonna break the bank, either. Seating is pretty limited, most people are getting their food to go here. Combo lunch comes with fried rice, crab rangoon, and soup, all for under 8 bucks. They get the fourth star on the strength of their lightning speed… call it in & it’ll be at your door faster than you’d think possible.

I was cruising past this place and had a Chinese craving for some reason. It was mid-​afternoon on a weekend and thus was dead, so my order came out in minutes. Twice Cooked Pork, extra spicy.
It just… isn’t very good. They provide plenty of meat compared to many other places I have been to, but the taste is just really a let down. There was a very, very strong MSG taste (I think), which was definitely not good. The spiciness was good for once, but that’s because I ordered it extra spicy. With just normal spiciness, it would have been another let down. The rice was nice and sticky, I’ll give them that.
In the end, I got 2.5 meals out of it, which is great for $ 8.50 or so (with tax), but beyond being cheap there isn’t much going for China Inn. If you’re in the area, I recommend Szechwan Dynasty (next to OK Joes) or Tea Garden a bit further south on Strang Line — both are excellent and some of the best in the metro.

Ordered here on Christmas Eve, I asked how long it would take for 3 lunch specials and delivery (I’m thinking 45 min, maybe an hour? It’s Christmas eve after all.) They quoted 20 min.
The deliver man was at our front door in well under 20 min. I’m thinking closer to 10.
This place is close by work, they deliver and the prices are great.
The food is fresh, you can honestly tell the difference in the quality of this place versus the other delivery places in the area.
When you order something extra spicy… wow…face-melting spicy. Just the way I like it!

I ordered Take out after the advice of the girl who works in the liquor store next door. It was very quick and pretty good. I also ordered the chicken w/​black mushroom and bamboo shoots. It sounded better than it tasted. My wife’s General Tso’s chicken was excellent, and there was plenty for lunch the next week. I will definitely eat there again.
The staff was very friendly and came outside to talk to my wife about our dog, whom we brought with us.

i received a we deliver! menu at my door for this place today and the thought of chinese food had me drooling like Homer Simpson. so i ordered and the other reviewer was correct they are FAST even for delivery. granted it was 4pm on a Saturday still my order was here hot and freshly cooked before i even expected it, and it was around $ 33 with tax and i have major leftovers. the order taking went quick they were very nice both on the phone and also the delivery guy– i ordered a nice sampling of my favorites but the «easy dishes» to tell if this cook knew what he was doing. he did. i was pleased with everything i tasted and i am extremely picky having eaten the good stuff. i didnt try the soup because by the time i got to that i was stuffed to the gills.
pork egg rolls– really good. they looked homemade to me
even if they werent — they were GOOD– they were crispy and the inside veggies and pork were good flavor not mushy not too over flavored just really tasty .
they also included the really good sweet n sour sauce as a bonus. i’ll have to test out thier sweet and sour pork at some point. a favorite but if the sauce isnt right. meh.
crab rangoon– good flavor filling wontons were very crispy. excellent pairing with the sweet and sour sauce. my actual favorite crab rangoon is the Thai Place but these are a close second now. well maybe first.
The Thai place doesnt deliver.
pork chow mein — first time i had this dish but it had great flavor the pork especially–
orange chicken is by far my favorite dish EVER i’ve been eating this since 1993– there was a small amazing place in the strip mall in Sherman Oaks across the street from my old house and they did it amazing– since i moved i’ve had it good and bad depending on the place. Pf changs i’ve had both great and awful.
China inns orange chicken is on the house specialty part of the menu– and this was very tastily done. good flavor and the sauce was just spicy enough. like the egg rolls and rangoon– it was still crispy– they delivered it that fast.
chicken lo mein another favorite and simple dish– but made wrong it can be awful. after i added a sprinkle of salt it was excellent. good flavor on the noodles and also the chicken and veggies. the water chesnuts were perfect as were the noodles.
hot n sour soup like i said i was too stuffed to try. it looks great. like my favorite place in Beverly Hills used to make it. Thai place also has a great hot n sour soup but again. they dont deliver.
all in all i’m very happy with China inn. which is good because i have leftovers for DAYS.

This is our «go-​to» place for Chinese. They are located in strip mall behind the Quick Trip on College Blvd – there are a few tables to eat in, but most people use them for delivery and take out. They have free delivery and always throw in a free 2-​liter of coke or order of crab rangoon. They always say «30 minutes» on the phone, but our food always gets to our door in 15 or less.
The place is very clean, and you can watch them make your food. We like the fried dumplings, the chicken fried rice and the mongolian beef – pretty standard, but it’s nice to know of a good place when you’re craving Chinese.

We’re gonna talk China Inn takeout. The China Inn is fast. I’m talking Michael Phelps fast. At least that was the case for my first Chinese takeout experience with them.
As for the meal, well.. . it was satisfactory. My Chicken w/​Black Mushroom & Bamboo Shoots (@ 7.55) wasn’t too yummy for this tummy. I thought it tasted a little funky, my friend disagreed. With a draw like that, I’m up to try it again.
Our order of Chow Mein was good enough to save for later and my friends Teriyaki Chicken was A-​Ok. This is pretty run-​of-​the-​mill but it was blazing fast for takeout. Our stuff arrived in less than 10 minutes I swear and was considerably hot. They’re open until 10:30 on Fridays & Saturdays so it’s worth being a late movie night option.
