This is probably on of our favorite local joints. Good food — Great drinks — Good beer selection and always more than decent service.

We love this particular Johnny’s. Great staff and great service. Food is really good and very consistent. TV’s are great and there are a lot of them. If you want college and pro football and the Kansas City Royals during baseball season, this is the best place in town to go. We go there weekly. Highly recommend this sports bar. Best of the many Johnny’s locations in my opinion.

First visit, just a quick lunch. Good food, good prices, good service, good vibe. Tons of TV’s to watch whatever game you want. Outdoor patio with fire pit. I’d definitely come back, seems like a good place to hang out.

Great atmosphere to watching sporting events and hang out. Service was polite and efficient. And for food, typical premade bar food. Had the southwest chicken wrap and the diced chicken was like bits of charcoal and the ends of the wrap were not tucked in, not a big deal though. Still a good place for atmosphere and service.

This place is as bar & grill as you can get. Burgers & wings are staple items on the menu. I got the smoked Gouda burger. I especially liked that is on a pretzel bun. It has bacon & all the fixings for a burger. I also like the Simmons sauce(great on the wings). It was a good combo of flavors that isn’t on any other burgers. They also have a good selection of side items. I was disappointed that they didn’t have hard cider on tap but they still had a good selection of bottles ciders to choose from.

Everytime we come here our service is great and it’s a nice sports bar just to relax at! It’s not dirty like a lot of sports bars and doesn’t reek of smoke. Me and my family enjoyed watching the royals game while eating our delicious pepper jack bites for an appetizer! When you go to any Johnny’s pepper jack bites are a must! For dinner I stuck with my staple order of a Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and to say the least I am never disappointed with it! I would recommend getting it fried because the grilled option does not hold in the buffalo sauce well. This is a great place to watch a sports game with friends because on every table there is a mini tv to watch whichever game you want! This makes it a great spot for kids to be entertained before your food gets there!

This is a great neighborhood place. Great for kids. You can even bring your dog when it’s nice & sit on the patio. The food is better than your typical bar & the craft beer selection is great. The service is always top notch. We went for dinner last night & the food took longer than usual. The manager came out & apologized & also took 15% off our bill. We Really like this place.

I ordered four beef tacos(two soft shell and two hard shell) on taco Tuesday for $ 1.25 each with an iced tea($ 2.25). My order was delivered to my table with a smile in eight minutes. The tacos had plenty of delicious, nicely drained ground beef and plenty of fresh veggies and cheese. The interior had a good vibe, and was very well done, with plenty of TVs on the walls, TVs in each booth, and music playing. The service was stellar.

I’m still a fan of Johnny’s and will eat here from time to time when I need a burger and beer, but my last few visits have been less than awesome. I was totally bummed out after my recent to-go order of wings didn’t have any sauce on them. The receipt stapled to the bag indicated everything I wanted, but alas, no wing sauce. Similarly, my last two dine in experiences have been meh. I’m a stickler about entrees arriving while an app is still in progress — the case in both visits. Service is still friendly and relatively quick, but something has gone missing since my review over two years ago. I hope Johnny’s gets back on track. I’ll patronize them a lot more rather than choosing another spot provided they can get things going.

Good pizza and burger bar but no unique entrees or ambiance that sets them apart from other bars except that it’s cleaner. If you get the pizza check to make sure it’s not burned, has happened 3 times but they are nice to make a new one. Good place to take your family. Bar tenders are a bit rude but wait staff is great!

Johnny’s isn’t anything special, necessarily, but it’s a pretty good place to get a bite to eat. Really solid bar food. This isn’t some gastro pub type of thing, just straight ahead bar food. Burgers, fries, apps, etc. I’ve been here several times and I’ve never been disappointed. I’m a fan of the 80 Acre Melt burger. All the burgers are well cooked and juicy. The 80 acre comes with onion strips bacon and a cheese sauce. Tasty! I’m also quite partial to the Cuban Panini sandwich. Good bread, chicken ham… all good. I tend to go for the house made chips over the fries, just to mix things up a bit but both are good. For the apps, we are fans of the fried pickles(they do chips not spears which is the only correct way to do fried pickles) which get you a LOT of pickles. We also like the Pepper Jack Bites. The service is always good, there is always lots of sports to be watched and the parking isn’t too bad.

Great game day atmosphere. Their mushroom-Swiss burger was ok, but the fries were sooo gooood. I enjoyed watching the game on the many television sets that they offered. The bar area was SUPER crowded. It wasn’t the place for a big guy to be wandering around… And now for something different: The service was awful. It was that special brand of bad. Not only was it slow and inattentive,(as a whole) it was not the least bit gracious at all. I got a vibe that said, «WEDONTWANTTOBEHERE!». I enjoyed my experience in spite of the service and would not have any problem giving Johnny’s another go.

I went here to watch an Eagles game after researching places with lots of TVs. When I arrived, I was seated quickly, and got a table with my own personal TV, which was pretty cool. Halfway through the game the channel was changed, so I asked my waitress if she could turn it back. She directed me to ask a guy at the bar which channel it was, and he could figure it out. After interacting with 4 people and 10ish minutes later, I finally got the game back on. That was pretty annoying. I ordered the Cuban Panini with cole slaw on the side. The sandwich was not very good and neither was the cole slaw. I will not be back on my own, but if I end up back here for some reason, I will order something else.

Stopped in for the only steak entrée on the menu and as it turned out it was not on the menu anymore.(their online/yelp menu needs updating) Got the pork chop instead which was pretty nice tasting but definitely on the small side. Bartender was nice and the place is clean. I would come back if I lived in the area but would probably get a burger or something instead.

We stopped here on a vacation, and we’ll stop here again. Great food and atmosphere! The wings were very large and meaty. Our Nachos had the perfect amount of every topping. Our booth was comfortable and had a small TV to watch the game on. Surprisingly, it wasn’t very busy for NFL Sunday week 1. Business should pick up. As expected, they get all the sports channels. Food: 5 stars Atmosphere/layout: 5 stars Service: 3.5 stars, pretty average Johnny’s Tavern, keep doing what you’re doing.

The food was good. Our waitresses wad good after a while. At first they were trying to rush us. They made the mistake of seating the two of us at a 6 top. So they thought the best policy was to try to rush us. Well I was in the industry for years.. if you bring me my check with my meal… well I’m probably going to put my feet up and stay a while… duh. Eventually our waitress calmed down. She was nice. But the bar tenders were ding bats. They had a bar full of 40+ year Olds and they insisted on playing reggae rap on the satellite. Not impressed. The gm should kick their buts.

This really should get 4.5 stars. I love this neighborhood tavern. Amazing food and great beer selection. Get the Simmons wings, pepper jack bites or nachos and a boulevard(Friday night 3.75 pints) and enjoy the patio. If it’s cold come state at one of 20+ tvs. Or play golden tee, big buck hunter(try to beat me) darts, or pool. Random, I know, but their turkey and their veggie burgers are . Very flavorful and you can get any of their speciality burgers subbed with a turkey patty. Pretty great service. Monday is $ 9 chicken fried chicken/steak night Tuesday is taco night Wednesday they have $ 7 apps, Thursday they have all sorts of burger specials Saturday get a $ 12 steak and Sunday soak up your weekend with their delicious pizzas — how could I almost leave out their pizza?!

Great place to meet friends and have good pub food! Best wings outside of Buffalo! Atmosphere is friendly, they have a nice patio with a firepit and great beer selection. I love to eat so I’m out of shape but this place is even worth riding our bikes to during the warmer months!

Johnny’s, as a local chain, is a decent enough establishment. The food has always been OK, the drinks have always been OK, and the service has always been OK. Surprisingly enough, I think the best service at Johnny’s is the Power & Light District location. I had not yet been to this Johnny’s establishment, though. I strolled in later on a Friday night, with the idea of just grabbing a couple drinks with my friends. I did not plan to eat anything, and I did not… so, I cannot comment on the food. OK, so we were sat at a table in the bar area. Just after sitting down, the waitress came over and, with an attitude, said«people are sitting there, they just went outside for a few minutes». Well… blame your hostess, not us. Luckily, because it was absolutely dead, we were able to just move over to the bar itself. We were helped quickly by a friendly lady, and our drinks came up rather quickly. However, after that, service was nearly non-existent. Our refills took about 10 minutes, the shots we ordered took forever to make and didn’t taste very good at all, and the bartenders just seemed bothered that they even had to work. I’ll return to Johnny’s…but not this location. If this is the level of service on an evening when it’s dead, I pity the fool who comes here when it’s remotely busy.
