This is a quaint little mexican resaurant. It is small but the waitstaff are really nice, our service was quick, and the food AMAZING! No chips though but the food was so good and they were so fast it is such a little thing in comparison. The place is pretty small so i wouldnt bring a large group especially if they are busy.

The best salsa i’ve ever had! The sangria, the fajitas. So amazing! The staff is friendly and the food is perfect. I love this place

The truck on 128th Ave. SW in Littlerock(across from Chevron) is delicious! This is a perfect place to stop for lunch if you are nearby. The staff is very nice, attentive, and they are quick. Everything on the menu is good!

The street tacos were bland, the service was super slow and we had to go up to the counter to get our check. Also… no free chipswill come back again to give them a second chance. Maybe for happy hour

The mission burrito is dominated by rice! Filling almost completely rice. I got the chorizo regular — the flavors were quite nice — I suspect the chorizo was house-made. But it was just a rice bomb. I went out of my way to try this place and left very disappointed. Staff was very nice. They charge for chips and salsa. Right next to Fish brewery.

Had the Carna Tampiquena. It was VERY filling. The steak was nicely charred and presented well(sorry about no pics — I was REALLY hungry). Also ordered pork and chicken tamales(for tomorrow’s lunches). The staff are nice enough but some lack of communication between the two female waitstaff.

The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and reasonable pricing! If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place to go!

Easily the best place for Mexican food in town. The salsa is surprisingly sweet but tasty. Food is all made fresh. It’s a cozy place. Very casual environment. Waitress was friendly and patient. My only concern was that because the restaurant is so small, I was able to smell the cleaning products used in the bathroom. Not the most appetizing, but good to know that they keep it clean. Try sitting near the door if possible. They have happy hour from 2 – 5 on weekdays. Will definitely be returning.

Quality has definitely declined and I find myself eating here less often. Final straw was asking for a burrito with cheese instead of meat, shouldn’t be a big deal. But was. The toppings that used to be included in burrito price all now cost money. Just kinda bummed, I really loved this place when they opened. Honestly I go to the taco truck more often now, because I can get a beans/cheese/rice/cilantro/onion burrito for $ 5.52 including tax.

Nice folks in the kitchen and out front. Great pollo burrito, so big we split it and my kid still couldn’t finish his half. Very good on the first try. Will try again.

I had the beef burrito, it was very good! I thought the chopped beef(carne asada) was nicely flavored and freshly made-not all dried out from sitting under a heat lamp. I felt as if there was a language barrier, but it all worked out in the end. The food is worth it, just be patient and try not to make too many substitutions.

I would have given this restaurant 4⁄5 the first time I visited. I was pretty impressed with my sopes and my partner loved the steak tacos, so I will give them credit for that. However with each visit it seems like their standards drop lower and lower, and the food is on a downward spiral. We stopped by for lunch and were served stale-ass chips(from the night before?), old-ass horchata that did not get mixed properly so it separated into a water mixture on top and undissolved powder on the bottom of the cup, rubbery, burned eggs that were not prepared how I requested, undercooked rice, and something that could best be described as vaguely bean flavored watery gruel. To top it all off, the server was completely hands off and paid no attention to us. My partner says the tacos she ordered were still good, hence the 2 stars. Otherwise AVOIDTHISPLACE!

This is for the taco truck parked on Capitol Blvd in Tumwater — it is the Taqueria La Esquinta taco truck. I love authentic street tacos. The carne asada here is ground beef. It is not steak. I have given them two chances thinking they ran out of carne asada but nope second time it was ground beef too. Not real good and actually on expensive side for what you get. They wanted to charge me 5.95 for a kids cheese quesadilla. Skip this one and head to California Tacos.

It was my first time here recommended by a friend i work with, tried it out with my boyfriend. Its located on legion way by fishtale brewery and the appearance is clean but then i sat down and the lady poured us water and there was food particles floating in the pitcher of water so i didn’t really want to drink my water. I ordered a chicken taco with veggies and rice and beans, it was probably the most bland burrito ive ever had, id compare it to taco bell almost. But i was hungry. the beans was to much, they hardly put any veggies, only cilantro, a dash of salsa, the meat was mushy could hardly tell it was chicken, and i was extremely dissappointed as i saw great reviews and a good review from my co worker, but i was dissappointed. But i am willing to give it a second try by ordering the tilapia fish! so we’ll see!

stopped on a Friday evening for dinner, around 7:30pm on way from Seattle to the Ocean. We ordered, and I thought I had ordered the beef fajitas, and my buddy from Japan ordered a burrito. We ended up with two burritos(mine was a beef fajita burrito). I’m not sure if it was a language barrier, as I was switching between english and japanese, or just that the order area was busy with orders, staff changeover, making margaritas, and a lot of other activity. Regardless of the mixup, the food we received was very good, burrito was large, hot, and tasty. The quality of the food moved it from a 3 star mixup to a 4 star review. I would go back and eat there again, and be more clear with my order.

Quite possibly the worst I have ever had. The meat was dry and had a funny taste, I paid extra for cheese on my tacos and they didn’t even put it on. The«steak» in the tacos was not steak… Not actually sure what it was. Took too long to order and get food, plus there was no where to sit while waiting for to go orders. They do not give you chips with to go orders. If I had eaten in the restaurant I would not have paid.

I had a bad experience. I ordered sopes(similar to tacos but on a corn cake, with sour cream, cheese, and beans in addition to meat, lettuce, and tomatoes). They were… terrible. It’s not only that they were cooked poorly, but there was hardly any meat or cheese. It consisted mostly of beans and lettuce. The corn cake was mushy and not very thick. Most importantly, there was NOSALSA. This wouldn’t have been too bad if I hadn’t gotten take out, but the person working didn’t even ask if I wanted any… I was tired and wanted to get home soon so I forgot to ask, partly because I figured there would be some salsa already on them. There wasn’t. I added rice and beans because my friend wanted some. The beans were fine but the rice was hard and overcooked. To their credit, the place was crowded when I picked up the food, and many of the orders other people at the restaurant were eating looked quite good. And who knows, maybe their salsa was delicious. I wouldn’t know, because I didn’t get any, which made my food bland and incredibly dull. Maybe I’ll try them again someday, and have a better experience.

Three stars in generous. I had a chicken tostada and I could barely find any chicken. There was a tiny tostada, some bland beans, the invisible chicken, a glop of sour cream and some coarsly grated cheese. I was still hungry and considered going over to the taco bus, but decided to order a couple of carne asada tacos. Again, disappointing. The meat was dried out and almost looked like hamburger. The mushy, flavorless zanahorias en escabeche looked embarrassed to be on the plate. This place isn’t firing on all cylinders. It’s too bad.

This is a great little place if you’re looking for something cheap with a lot of value. I was actually craving a frozen burrito with mystery meat(don’t pretend like you don’t appreciate that frozen goodness), but of course this is an actual Mexican restaurant, so I didn’t think it would happen, but lo and behold, my prayers were answered. I got the Cubana torta and it has marinated meat that tastes exactly like a frozen burrito. Now, this is not a knock on the quality of food because the sandwich was delicious. I’ll agree with the other reviewer that they need to work on sustainability since paper plates and plastic utensils are not eco-friendly. Definitely stopping here again on our way to pdx. It’s easy enough to hop back onto the freeway and has it’s own free parking lot just on the other side of the bar that’s near there.
