This was from about 6 months ago, just now posting. Stopped in yesterday for the first time. Awesome cupcakes! They’re moist and delicious. I shared a lemon strawberry and a chocolate salted caramel. They were both yummy, and I preferred the lemon strawberry. The vanilla cake was just so darn good! The frosting is fresh and tasty, and the ratio of cake to frosting is perfect. I would have given 5 stars but the price is pretty high for a regular sized cupcake. They don’t give any price breaks on larger quantities either, like for a dozen. I like to support local business and the art on display by the school children is also fabulous. I would recommend you try these cupcakes.

I absolutely LOVE this place! I believe it is now Abby’s Cookies and Cupcakes. Their salted caramel frosted chocolate chip cookies are seriously THEBEST chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had. The cupcakes are just as awesome. I typically get some kind of chocolate cupcake and they are always super moist. They have a brownie cupcake with chocolate ganache in the center and vanilla frosting… to die for!

I love cupcakes. I love them so much, I inked one on my skin. That being said, I’ve made it my mission to try every cupcake place in Washington. I’ve driven hours, because I have no life. Anywho, this place is nom. Mind you I’m not reviewing based on the furniture or lack thereof. It is what it is, a cupcake shop. Simple and to the point. I wandered in here while waiting for my tacos… the dude behind the counter was super helpful on flavor selection and more importantly, super patient as I debated on what my taste buds currently wanted. I ended up getting a chocolate vanilla cupcake with a donut hole on top. My bf got a chocolate raspberry or something, idk, I didn’t pay attention to him. The cupcake was so good I ate it before my tacos. Try them. Nom.

I kinda feel like I cheated when I went here. You see, I am a huge fan of Sweet Charley B’s, the other really good cupcake shop in town. But I was at the food trucks with my sis and we thought we should probably just try this place out — well, because I mean, the cupcake shop is like 10 feet away from the food trucks. They dont have a big as selection as the other place(they only had three flavors) but they had samples of what they did have. Brilliant! I had the German Chocolate cupcake and my sister had the carrot cake. They were both absolutely delicious. Moist, right amount of frosting, with great flavor. AND they were only 2.00. There was a special that day .50 off each cupcake. Although I love Sweet Charley B’s…I just might cheat and go here again.

These cupcakes rock — moist and sitting under the best buttercream frosting ever. They continue to be the best in town.

These cupcakes are just ok — too sweet and heavy. The cupcake texture is kind of greasy and grainy at the same time. I could barely taste the strawberry in my strawberry frosting or the lemon in the lemon. Just a LOT of sugar and butter. I love sugar and butter, but they just didn’t have enough flavor. I would’ve given them three stars, but with the price coming in at over $ 2.50 each, my expectations were higher.

Update: I’ve been trying to limit the times I give five stars. But this place is the best in town and the are getting more and more diverse in the flavors they offer. Moist cupcakes every time I’ve gone. This is the best cupcake place I know of in Olympia.
