This is not really a review. .. I just wanted to let everyone know that they have CLOSED recently. Unfortunately they were located right next to the rear entrance to my building which made it very convenient. (I didn’t see an option for reporting that an establishment is out of business.) But, on a positive note, the other Bonjour location nearby at 18 West 38th Street is still open of business. .. the other side of Fifth Avenue, though. At least I can swing by there on my walk from Penn Station in the morning to grab breakfast.

Great spot amazing pizza and staff is friendly and good with kids, being from out of town I had no idea where to stop for a quick bite to eat with my son but this place was perfect

I usually eat the pizza here because it’s the closest to where I work. I always order cheese pizza along with garlic knots and marinara sauce. The pizza is pretty cheesy and thin(which I like) but I would recommend adding more tomatoes sauce to it to make it better. The cashiers are really nice and they work really fast. They stationed two employee for one cash register. One packs the food and one takes the money. The seating here is very limited, usually a table with two seat so it’s inconvenient for a large group to eat in here.

The service here is fast. There are different stations such as salad and pasta. I had a slice of delicious sausage pizza. As I conveniently sat in a comfy booth checking my emails. It was a very quiet atmosphere and good place to get some work done as you eat.

I pop in once in a while for breakfast. Service is fast and food prices aren’t too expensive. Great and rare combination in New York these days. After reading the other Unilocal reviews I think I’ll stick to ordering in rather than delivery because it’s always been good.

I ordered an eggs steak and cheese from this place. When I received my order the bread was saggy, the eggs were running like if I ordered it over easy. I wasn’t pleased at all. I would not order from this place again.

So after my review I received an email from this guy«Mario» who said he was the owner/manager of this poorly run deli. He said he would get back to me, it’s been 2+ weeks and I’m still waiting. This place is pathetic, I bet Mario is telling the lady cashiers to rip the customers off so he can line his pockets.

i’ve never actually written a Unilocal review before. i think i’ve been lucky to be content with the restaurants i order from through seamless. content enough to keep ordering, or simply decide that it’s not for me. i actually signed up for this Unilocal account because i cannot believe the atrocious customer service i was given over the phone when i called to say that there was something wrong with what i’d ordered. the girl on the phone actually YELLED at me and spoke to me like a child when i told her an item i’d ordered smells off and tasted disgusting. before i started this office job in midtown, i worked as a fine-dining restaurant manager for years. i’m appalled at how i was treated, considering all those years exercising extreme patience when dealing with customers. not that they’ll miss me, but i’m someone who works in extremely close proximity to this restaurant. i buy my lunch from local restaurants every day. i will NEVER order from this establishment again. neither will my co-workers who heard your EMPLOYEE from my phone.

Don’t eat there. I went in to buy an apple and the apple had mole inside the apple. A couple of months ago I bought an orange and the orange was black on the inside! That could get people sick!

Breakfast Review: I work by Grand Central and I have tried a number of delis for my Bacon, Egg, & Cheese on a whole wheat wrap with a side of homepotatoes. This place is top 2. It’s not cheap, but they’re consistant and it’s good. Not too oily, and there’s a perfect amount of everything. I’ve never tried ordering anything else and I’ve never ordered inside the store.

It’s a little pricey, but very good. Not sure why there are so many bad ratings on this place. It’s all fresh and there’s plenty of seating space. You can grab something quick and go or have a seat and enjoy.

In Midtown, where delis and quick grab-and-go coffee joints are a dime a dozen, I think Café Bonjour is pretty consistent in their delivery and food quality. Generally pretty quick and easy, I haven’t had a problem with ordering from Seamless. I can’t speak for service within the location but I’m always satisfied with their food.

Café bonjour can never get it right. They rip people off day to day. Every time I go there, they charge a different price for the same thing. The cashier girls and the cooks are very pleasant, but the women who take the orders over the phone have nasty attitudes. I recently found out why one of the women felt like it was ok to be rude to the customers. It’s because she is the owners wife. The only reason I go to this establishment is because my office is in the same building they are located and it is convenient on a rainy day. Other than that, I would not give a penny to an establishment that does not value it’s customers and enjoys ripping people off.

One word… ripoff. You pay for a full bowl of salad, yet, they only give you half. People are rude, obnoxious and don’t care in serving you. I would spend my money somewhere else. Food is okay, nothing to brag about, but the prices, compared to some of the better eating establishments around this area are a joke.

One of those rare times when I went to a place without reading reviews… Instant regret!!! Was ignored for 5 min while ppl chatted; then got my order and was ripped off when actual price was 2ce the advertised priced! Food was good but service and prices are a joke. :/

YOU’VEBEENWARNED! This place is the absolute worst! if you want to get the complete wrong order(has happened more than once, still didnt learn my lesson), and have to pay for it again, or have to pay 10 dollars for a egg sandwich and a bottle of Poland Spring then go ahead. The grill guys are more worried about flirting with the girlS rather than getting your order prepared in a timely fashion. If you want to be frustrated and over charged then head to Café Bonjour!

Went in for a salad,…pick one meat and 5 toppings unlimited. I picked chicken and 5 vegetables. When i added more sprouts, the salad person said I have to charge you more. Being that they could barely speak english i asked to speak to the«manager» who could barely speak english. Useless moron… No help. Didn’t understand what unlimited meant. Called him a f — -ing moron and walked out… never to return again. Last time i ordered a burger, they nickel and dime you form changes… bacon, american to a mushroom mozzerella is $ 2.95 difference in price. Ate it and had a bone fragment in it…38th street and 39th street both are not great… go next door and give smaller vendors your business… keith

Café Bonjour is my daily café. I’ve been going here for years now and there’s not much to complain about. Staff pretty much knows me and I haven’t had an order made incorrectly. But like other cafes in NYC, there’s nothing really here that stands out but there’s nothing really bad either.

I’ve ordered breakfast here via Seamless twice. Got the veggie omelette with cheese platter each time. It comes with toast and home fries for under $ 8 after tax. The omelette itself was good. Nothing amazing but certainly not disappointing. My 2nd seamless order, they forgot to add the cheese. I normally don’t call in to complain but they charge a whole $ 1 for cheese, so gosh darn it, I better get my cheese. They apologize and delivered a new platter within reasonable time. Overal, I was happy with my experiences there. Nothing fantastic and nothing terrible.

Can I ask for less then 1 star based on the thriftiness of the staff. I could not believe the portion control measures set into place when I ordered a salad today. I should have recognized the small portion by the amount of spinach in my take away before I asked for the extras. I am very disappointed but i guess this is the process when one takes away a salad from the counter. I asked for chicken(the pieces of chicken where smaller then my pinky nail. Then i asked for 5 additional toppings and my eyes were in dismay. When i noticed the«FETA» portion i asked for more and boy did they give me more(less then the original portion. When i went up to my office i could have sworn that i had a bowl of spinach, well not that much. Oh, by the way i was asked if i wanted bread and I said sure. The sliver of bread must have been from yesterday and it was a sliver. The best there is an «A» in the window.
