I really wanted to like this place, really, because it is right next to my job. HOWEVER, 1) Every time I go there, the two cashier girls always talking with each other in Spanish while helping me as if I don’t exist. There are many times they are talking to other customers in Spanish WHILE helping me. I tried to be nice and talk to them, they act like they don’t want to talk to me. Not sure if it is because I am not Spanish speaker. 2) I usually get 10% off because I work next door. For some reason they started to give me hard time recently when I ask for it, for example what company, where is it, etc. I showed them my business card today, and the cashier girls gave me an nasty attitude and said if I want a discount, I need to show manager my business card. So I went to the manager(not sure if he is the manager, but the girls forward me to him) Adam, he said he needed to call someone to figure out if he can give me a 10% discount card so I can show to the girls next time and he said he will call me back with the updates, but i should get 10% discount this time. When I go back to the cashier, again, the cashier girl gives me an attitude again and did NOT give me the discount. I didn’t ask for it at the moment because I am FEDUP with their attitude. Adam hasn’t call me back, so I called café Bonjour for updates in a calm and polite manner. He told me to «chill» which I am to begin with, and say«or just don’t come here anymore». Is this how you treat your customer? I am sure you can handle customer in a better manner and also«HE» is the one needs to «chill». But he is right, I AMNOTGOINGTHEREANYMORE, and I WILL make sure to tell everyone around me NOTTOGOTHEREFORBADSERVICESANDATTITUDE. I don’t know why is it such hassle to get my 10% when I work next door and have prove of it. It not really about the 10% discount, it is about the entire experience has been HORRIBLE and a lot of hassle. They need to improve their customer service and try to focus on each customers. It is not my problem that you don’t like your job. .

I can only vouch for their salads. 5 add — ins for 7 bucks. One protein. If you work in the area, let them know. You will get 10% off.

Found this place when j was looking for lunch them other day. I decided to stop in because they advertised for a large salad bar. I hate how crazy some salad places can be in the city so this was a bit calmer and more relaxed. Salad bar was good, nothing took crazy just a regular NYC deli

Ive eaten here a few times before and like the food. But this morning I ordered a blueberry muffin and was given a cranberry walnut muffin. I have a nut allergy. Luckily I only ate a small bite, but I went back to inform the staff. The guy did give me the blueberry muffin, but had no idea how serious of a mistake that could have been. I won’t be eating there again.

Had lunch here with my wife and two kids(age 13 and 9). It can be a little intimidating to go to an unfamiliar deli but this place was great. The entire staff were extremely friendly even though we had«tourist» written on our foreheads. The manager even brought cups to the table when he saw that the four of us were sharing one bottle of soda. The kids each had a slice of cheese pizza the thick square kind.(Sicilian?) My son called it the best pizza he has ever had. Take that with a grain of salt coming from a hungry nine year old. My wife had the vegetarian panini and I had the Bronco both were delicious. This place is definitely a solid lunch option in Mid town.

I always order lunch delivery… they are quick and the burgers are good… including the turkey burgers.

I just moved to the area and I went here for breakfast, really enjoyed it so I went back for lunch and I loved it. It’s pretty affordable, the food is great, and the service is awesome. I found my new place!

The owner or manager is an absolute disgrace. We got yelled at and insulted because someone from our group stayed an extra 2 min in the toilet and he wanted to close the store. We were obviously customers. Go spend your money somewhere else, there are plenty of similar places

I work next door, and this place is the go-to deli for me and all of my coworkers. Nothing fancy, just your typical midtown deli — but the employees are all very friendly and that’s worth a lot when you deal with a place almost every day! They usually have lunch specials for $ 5 – 6 every day, and also have a full salad bar, as well as pizza and hot food. If you’re a local/regular customer, you get 10% off, so can’t beat that!

This is a little confusing because when I looked up Café Bonjour on Unilocal, there’s another location literally on the next street over on 39th, but I’m positive I didn’t go there. Anyway, this may be my new go-to spot for lunch! I work on the same block as this place, so it’s walking distance for me, and I really like their unlimited toppings salads. The price is worth it for all the veggies you get to put it in it, and they serve you quickly with no problems or attitude. They overdid it a little with the dressing, but that’s an easy fix with asking for not too much. Yay!
