STAY AWAY! The people who work there treat you really bad! There are many pizza places in NY, this place does not deserve your time and money!

Moments like these I am happy Unilocal exists. Unfortunately there is no way to leave less than a star, I would if I could.
The service was absolutely terrible and some of the rudest I have ever encountered. Made the experience of getting a slice of pizza the worst I have had.
It went down something like this…
An older «gentleman» was at the cash register. I ordered once slice of grandma’s pizza. Went to pay at register and the cashier just stated at me. I inserted my card to pay. The machine said approved. I took it out. He immediately got any and said «what the hell are you doing what’s wrong with you why did you remove the card?». I told him it said approved and he replied «that’s obviously for another person how the hell can it be approved if I haven’t even put in the amount?! What’s wrong with you!?». I told him sorry it just said approved I didn’t know. So he replied again «yea I haven’t put the amount jeez put it back in what are you waiting for what the he’ll is wrong with you?!». I paid and then moved a little to the left. When my pizza was ready the other person said «here is your pizza» while holding it out. I reached out but couldn’t reach it and said thanks. But since I couldnt reach it the other «gentleman» said «well? Come on and get it!» the cashier chimed in and also said «Yea what the hell are you waiting for get the pizza! Jeez!».
Moments like these I love Unilocal exists and that I know many people. I will dedicate the foreseeable future to making sure everyone within my reach never goes to this place so they don’t have to get treated like that. It’s not ok. Irrelevant if the pizza is good the local has no right to treat people like cattle.
Thorough my friends. Media. Social media. Unilocal.Everyone will know about this.

We stopped here on a whim, just walking by. The food was excellent, staff was friendly, and prices were very reasonable!

Not to be confused with the other Little Italy pizza places in Midtown this one is the best. Their grandma pie is very good (it’s no Prince St. but definitely up there).

It’s a pretty nice place. The prices are expensive but it is NYC after all. Brought my Italian friend and all he said was «it’s aight»

Place is packed during lunch with office workers from the address. Ordering is a bit chaotic, but it’s New York. No seating, but there’s a counter on the side where you can stand and eat.
I had the grandma special. It was a bit garlicy but otherwise pretty good with a nice crust.
Overall a good place to go for pizza.

Bueno, que decir?
Son unas cuadras en las que esta llenisimo de restaurantes italianos, con mozos que te invitan todo el tiempo a que pases a su local ofreciéndote opciones de distintos menúes.
Hay lugares que no son tan caros por lo que seria un «menú de mediodía» de acá, y para sentarse a comer algo caliente si hace frió están muy bien.
Mención aparte para un local chiquito con un puestito en una esquina que tiene unos cannolis riquísimos, de varios sabores y bien frescos. Imposible no tentarse y comprar uno.
Siempre esta lleno, vayas a la hora que vayas.
Esta bueno ir y recorrer las calles de alrededor que son muy pintorescas para pasear porque son como antiguas.
También cuando termina el italiano empieza el China Town para hacer un paseo 2 en 1.

Delivery showed up nearly an hour late. Excuses after excuses. My office is 2 blocks from the pizza place. Pizza was average when it finally showed up.

Wie in Chinatown wird Little Italy immer kleiner, da viele Italiener ausgezogen zu die orten wo es ruhiger ist. Oder auch weil sie nicht mehr als «Italiener» fühlen nach einige Generationen.
Es gibt jedoch immer noch italienische Restaurants und Shops, aber sie sind immer noch «typisch amerikanisch».
Wie überall in den USA gibt es immer weniger Original — Italiener. Sehr schade, dass dort immer weniger Tradition gibt.

$ 3 for a solid slice of plain. Not bad for the area. No seating but there’s a bar so you can stand up and eat your slice. $ 5 min for cards.

Great choice for a slice of pizza on the go.
The place caters to the busy work scene of Midtown. The average customer is walking in to order and heading back to their desk or catching a quick bite in the park. The restaurant is small with no frills — couple of places to stand and eat if you feel like sticking around. However, what lacks in store amenities is made up for in food quality.
I have worked around the corner from this place for years, and it has consistently served enjoyable pizza. This has to be one of the best, if not top, places in the area for grabbing a slice or whole pie. They have a wide variety of options with regards to types of pizza and toppings. My go-​to options are the Contadina grandma-​style, chicken chipotle, and Ciociara. Their menu also offers pastas, salads, cold/​hot heroes, and hot entrees (note — this review is purely based on their pizza).
I highly recommend trying their pizza if you work in the area and are in the mood for a slice (s). I was here earlier this week, and I am sure I will be back sometime next week.

Best Pizza! You can eat your slice (s) standing at the counter or take it go and get a seat in Bryant Park! It’s a small place that deceives (most) tourists into thinking it’s too small to be good.

I was drawn in here by the smell alone. I was actually planning to get taken for lunch (I still might, I hunger eternally) but walking by, the smell of fresh sauce genuinely stopped me right in my tracks.
Now I’m not usually a Grandma Slice kinda guy, but the reviewers were all losing their minds over it so I figured I ought to try it out. At $ 3,21 after tax, it’s not a cheap slice, but not bad in this area.
$ 3.21 well spent. It was certainly a fresh, fine-​tasting slice with sauce that, in a blind test, would have convinced me it was made by a little old Italian lady. However, little old Italian ladies these are not, and if you expect them to hold your hand for you while you ponder your order at lunch hour, you will be tremendously disappointed. Similarly, there is standing room only, and not much of it. Order up, pay up, and get out — that’s the philosophy. You’ll easily meet the $ 5 credit card minimum.
I regret that I’m too poor to make this my go-​to pizza spot, because it’s very tasty.

Came here during my lunch hour and picked up a Meatlovers Grandma slice, as well as a regular slice.
The Meatlovers slice had plenty of meat on it, and the regular slice was nice and crispy on the botttom.
The garlic knots were not good at all. They were very dry, as if they were stale.
Overall, the pizza was mediocre at best. The service is fast if you’re looking for a quick lunch.

Italy Pizza seems to be the favorite place for pizza at my office parties. I had pizza zillion of times here but never step foot in here, therefore, I can only comment about my delivery experiences.
As a frequent customer for delivery, we never had any issues and they are always on time. The only suggestion I can give is, don’t wait until an hour before your party to order a bunch of pies and especially not during lunch hours. Everyone else will try to do the same, so be smart and beat the crowd. Order on the morning of and specify what time you want it.
My favorite pie here is the margherita pies. Every ingredient is neatly placed on the pie: tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, and basils here and there.
To be frank, this is not a destination spot since there are other pizzerias around and of course, better pizzas out there; we’re in New York City! For an office party, Italy Pizza does a spectacular job. I like that they go above and beyond in packing enough utensils, seasonings, and cans of soda so neatly. All we had to worry about was which pie should we start with first!

Decent pizza. Not a great selection when it comes to Slice’s.
I like Uncle Paul’s better then Little Italy. I got the Sausage Pizza and a Plain.
On both the slices the dough was under-​cooked. The sauce seemed like it came out of a bottle versus made in house. All in all its a decent pizzeria.

Great slice of pepperoni. Decent crunch on the crust. Nice zippy sauce. Good cheese. Fast service. Great prices. It what I expect from a slice of NYC pizza. Of course I’m from California so…

The place is a little hard to find, as it’s not actually on 5^th Avenue – go down 43^rd instead and follow your nose to the smell of delicious, delicious pizza.
Typical New York procedure – walk up to the counter, tell the man the slices you want. He’ll throw them in the over and a minute or two later pass them over to you. Four slices and two sodas were $ 20, so it’s a reasonable price but maybe not the cheapest you’re going to get it.
The pizza is delicious. Really nice crispy crust (but not overcooked), and fresh ingredients and toppings. They also have «grandma» style pizza, which comes in a square and is thicker crust, but I’ll stick with the original.
Pepperoni, please. Okay, fine, I’ll take another.

This is the only Little Italy pizza you need to visit. I work in midtown and this is a go to spot for my pizza cravings. The inside gets pretty packed just like other lunch spots during lunch time. It’s very narrow and always seems busy but the lines move quick due to the good service from the guys behind the counter. I’ve had a bunch of the different types of slices but BY FAR the crowd favorite is definitely the original grandma slice. It’s amazing! Can’t really go wrong here, but that’s the best way to go

We had this delivered at work today. Decent. Had the veggie pizza. Slices were cut gigantic. (I still don’t understand why NY cuts their pizza slices so big.) Thin pizza. Canned red basic type sauce. A thin layer of cheese. Broccoli on it was just okay. tasted like frozen kind, and not cut fresh. The spinach on it was good though. I did like the spinach a lot. I was grateful it was not smothered in cheese or dripping grease. At least it tasted like veggies and pizza crust and not fattiness. So one big win… Overall, okay.

I used to study right next door so this was my afternoon late lunch spot. It’s great pizza, just make sure they don’t heat it up too hot for you — have burned my mouth several times in a hurry. Good selection of slices too and the service is very friendly and efficient.

Italien in NYC. Wer kennt es nicht aus Filmen wie der Pâté. Robert de Niro und Marton Scorsese sind hier aufgewachsen. Hier kann man günstig italienisch essen.
Ich fand es total interessant wie Chinatown und Little Italy ineinander übergehen. Im einen Moment sieht man noch chinesische Schriftzeichen und nach dem Überqueren der Straße gibt es Pizzarien und Barber Shops und alles steht auf italienisch da. Leider sind in den letzten Jahren immer mehr Italo-​Amerikaner weggezogen so das das Viertel nur noch auf der Mullberry Street und in der Grand Street existiert.

Man fühlt sich hier wie im Italienurlaub, was ich vergleichsweise angenehmer als in China Town empfinde.
Der Touristennepp in den italienischen Lokalen hinterläßt einensSchalen Nachgeschmack.
Aber mal durchlaufen schadet sicher nicht, um sagen zu können, daß man auch hier mal war.
