Ok tea that’s really overpriced for what it is. I ordered the hibiscus tea with lemon since I was attracted by the«freshly squeezed lemonade» line on the menu. I asked for no sugar. Unfortunately for me the lemonade is pre made and includes a lot of sugar. I was really disappointed because I like sourness and didn’t get any of that. It was basically just average tea and a bit of lemonade. The cashiers were SUPER friendly, which is why I’m doing 3 stars.

I really like the tea refreshers here especially the hibiscus lemonade one. Medium drink cost around $ 4. Great drink to get on a hot summer day! They have a lot of other iced tea drinks to check out.

Do you like tea drinks that are sickeningly sweet and taste 100% artificial? Then go to Argo. Tried both the white earl grey crème tea and the Teaña Colada(I had to hold back my laughter/contempt while order that one). That said, the people here are very nice, it’s very clean, there’s a bathroom, and they also sell loose leaves. Outdoor seating too, plus the Flatiron plaza.

The hot soy latte tastes like dirty water. Not sure how it could taste this bad. There is no coffee taste and it’s so cold. Will not try it again.

Tea is terrible, watered down and never steeped right. It’s just water + flavor, not earthy, deep, flavorful like real tea should be. Thus overpriced and not worth it. Awful.

I’m more than just an option For all those tea-fanatics out there, this is your place. SO many different combinations of tea and really tasty too! I’m fine with pay $ 5 for coffee, because I need that caffeine to survive my day. But $ 5 for tea with barely any caffeine? I have to think twice about that. Pricey but delicious, seriously taste like juice. Delicious tea and good coffee but terrible wi-fi. I needed to get away from the office for a brief moment, thought this was a good place to some work but the wifi was too slow to accomplish any work. Tea good. wifi bad.

An alternative coffee and tea shop for those looking for something different from the typical Starbucks and Co. of shops in the area. Interesting options for teas in particular. Give this chill spot a try.

Wonderful staff! Their welcoming attitude, helpfulness & humor definitely made my experience at this Argo Tea very memorable. There’s a variety of hot and cold tea. Much of them are displayed in clear containers by the counter. And if needed, you can have tasters of the different teas. My favorite is the Carolina Honey(hot) – not too sweet, not watered down, not bitter, and perfectly warm temperature so that it’s neither lukewarm or burning hot. The tea quality in itself is probably 4 stars, but the great service pulled my rating to a 5.

I love argo tea! very nice selection of crafted tea drinks and bubble tea. Great in the summer with their iced drinks, and perfect for winter with their hot drinks. I love their teapuccinos! The non-dairy milk options are at NOEXTRACHARGE– how refreshing! Very vegan friendly with their vegan cookies, muffins and raw bar options! They also have a bunch of vegan salads– all clearly marked with a V. You can also buy loose leaf tea from a large selection!

We happened to walk by Argo at the most perfect time possible. You know when you have a terrible head cold but you’re still rallying because it’s-just-a-cold…but then you run out of steam and need immediate relief lest you pass out in the street? Yeah. That happened on Sunday during my NYC escapade. And then this Argo Tea appeared and saved my life. I had a hot pomegranate tea, though I probably should’ve ordered the chilled version considering the unseasonably warm temps outside. I did, however, try a sample of their iced hibiscus and that was great! The pomegranate was a big help in temporarily satiating the cold’s effects, and that made me happy. Plus it’s nice that there’s so many outdoor seats. A nice pause in the day, for sure. Sick or not, I’d return!

I love how they have a wall of tea you can purchase from. They have excellent pastries, better than Starbucks only to the extent of availability and health choices. A GREENTEAMUFFIN? oh yes. They have tea and a small section for coffee. But thats fine, since they ARE a tea shop anyway. They have tea products you can buy, such as a cast iron kettle, tea bottles, etc. If you want to make your own tea at home with argo tea products, go right ahead. They offer two samples of their tea daily. They have a loving and helpful staff, and they’re practically used to me by now which is great. They have a rewards program that is great. You can even customize your tea, hot or iced! So this is a great benefit cause i want ginger with every tea! WiFi is available, its a good temperature inside, and they have decent seating areas. This places misses the mark for a five star for me only because it deserves to have a bigger location like Café Beene or starbucks on 45th street. They also deserve a second bathroom. Maybe I’m wrong of course, cause that is a real estate issue. Overall, i go here at least 3x a week to meet my girlfriend, and also to have a great cup of tea.

Argo has come a long way since I first visited over four years ago. The layout now is great! It’s a cool space, great tea, and delicious pastries and treats. As I attempt to drink less coffee in the afternoon, this place has increasingly become part of my routine. Hibiscus Apple is my absolute favorite; iced, naturally!

Argo is a highly underrated tea & coffee shop, solely — I think — because it’s a chain. The Flatiron location is great, both warm and spacious, and in the retail space of the Flatiron building itself. The staff is friendly and they almost always have free samples for hot and cold tea. Maybe the tens of tea variations and the listing of calorie counts have made Argo less«artisanal» or «craft,» and more corporate and Starbucks-like. However, Argo is a well-oiled machine and a lot less crowded than many other coffee shops or Starbucks locations in Flatiron and NoMad. A gem hidden in plain site. In fact, the location is great and there is plenty of seating outside as well as inside, with a great view of the Flatiron plaza. And finally, the tea is great! Prices are moderate, and in line with other shops in the area. Last notes: Get the wifi password on your receipt. The bathroom’s clean.

Good stuff. The array of selections can be a little bewildering, but the samples up front help. The short summary is that you can choose any tea on the menu and have it hot or iced. I really enjoyed the hibiscus apple ice tea.

So many delicious options to choose from! I decided to go with the earl grey vanilla crème and the green tea Greek yogurt parfait. The total came out to be $ 9.69. I gave the person behind the cash register $ 20 and they gave me back $ 3.21…How do you mess up the calculation when you could have easily punched the numbers into the cash register?! The manager was nice enough and didn’t make a big fuss about returning the right amount of change to me. It really ruins my trust for them since I’m not a person that usually check my change and the one time I did, there has to be a mistake. I highly advise you to check your change before leaving the establishment. On the bright side, the earl grey vanilla crème was delicious and the green tea Greek yogurt parfait had the yummy green tea taste that I was looking for. Will definitely be coming back again but I will be more careful next time around.

I probably went at a bad time since it was a rush. My drink tasted watered down with no hint of flavor but also with a lot of tea leaves at the bottom of the cup. It’s basically like a salad in a cup. Thanks. I wonder how they knew that I needed more veggie in my diet!

My goto tea shop and place to kill time when I need. they have free wifi(download their app) and a not too shabby rewards program. Drinks to definitely try: Earl Grey vanilla crème Carolina Honey Strawberry green tea crème(seasonal) Their regular tea assortments are also delicious. I love their chamomile and white/green teas. The Red pepper brie and chicken sandwich, mediterranean rice and vegetable salad dishes are delicious. Get it warmed up. For some reason I get a slight upset stomach whenever I try the edamame salad but maybe cos it’s a bit spicy and I can’t handle that. Their pastries can be hit or miss. Macarons are tasty but not comparable to other macaron places in NY. Muffins are alright. I like their raw bars — just the flaxseed one, though. I hate their croissants. Do not get their farce of a croissant here. Its cold lumpy and gross. The yogurts here are pretty gross too. Too runny, drippy, and tasteless.

A large selection of tea and non-tea beverages were offered here. I had an ice matcha vanilla latte with very little syrup and skim milk. The staff didn’t give me a hard time about my difficult request and made it perfectly. I have also tried the samples, which were offered by the entrance. Everything was very good.

The tea flavors are really good and very exotic. The one quam i had was that the drinks are really really sweet. They also don’t add sugar, and get the brews premade, so they can’t change it up for you and use less fruit or anything. So asking for half sugar isn’t a possibility.

Great tea, best tea in town, great place, but the people that works there are not friendly at all, responds with anger and looks very lazy all the times, that’s why my 3 stars, because not everything is the place or the product, service is veeeryyy important too.

Every time I go to New York, I swing by this specific Argo Tea. It definitely looks different than before, more modern but I feel it reminds me more of a Yogurtland over a tea house. I liked the old look better. Nonetheless since I’m here once a year I like to take advantage of what to get. I’ve had the red velvet and a ginger crème tea before and both were excellent. This year, it’s unusually warm in NYC this time of year so I opted for an iced tea. Couldn’t decide between the earl grey vanilla crème vs the chocolate mint so I did what any rational indecisive guy would do: get both. The earl grey was flavorful but felt watered down, like the creaminess was an afterthought. I got it with 2% milk. Not as rich as the red velvet The chocolate mint however was fantastic. I was given a choice of having it made with black tea or Armenian mint(barista suggested). I went ahead with the Armenian mint(it is after all a MINT tea so I don’t want it bland). Now this was fantastic! I can taste the mint flavor along with the smooth chocolate. I wonder if it would be more flavorful if they used a dark chocolate. If it wasn’t iced I’m sure it would have even more flavor. I do wish it was chilly, around 40ish so i could enjoy a nice hot cup in cold weather. Oh well, doesn’t matter. Definitely coming back next time I’m in NYC.
