Mudtruck

I am not going to rain on their parade but sometimes coffee is just coffee. Fast service, decent coffee, not expensive. Cute name.

I don’t know if this is a new location for the truck. I stumbled upon this orange truck this afternoon, and picked up a small Mud Mocha ($ 2.00) on my way to the Madison Square Park. It was coffee added with chocolate and steamed milk, and I liked it very much! It tasted almost like Café Mocha, but so much cheaper! I am in love with it.
I wonder if it is just me – I always feel that the coffee from the Mudtruck is stronger than that of other places. Again, I got very «excited» after this Mud Mocha at 4:30 pm today.
Still, I will definitely go back to this location and try more Mud Mocha, hopefully in the early afternoon!
By the way, I used to go to the Mudtruck in Astor Place, and I remember I was once scolded (sort of) by the barista for asking for a decaf coffee.
