I would this give 0 stars if I could. I walked up with 3 friends and was told by the bouncer to pay $ 40 per person. As we took a step back in disbelief, we witnessed people getting out of cabs and simply walking right by after showing the bouncer ID’s and not paying a dime. Sure, we had never been there before, but we wanted dinner. It was completely profiling and bullsh*t. The bouncer even had a smug look and a smile as we couldn’t believe what we were being told. I long for the day I go back to this heaping pile, but until then, enjoy yourself Candela.

It was a great experience. Service was excellent. Exceptionally liked the ceviche sampler and the first course. My entrée, the carnicita was tasty but perhaps a bit small for an entrée portion. We definitely preferred Topolobampo to the Frontera Grill atmosphere.

Interesting place to say the least but the food was good and very cheap per the portions. We get there late on a Saturday night looking to eat at the restaurant and the bouncer tells us we have to pay cover.(It’s a club at night) We say we just want food and they agree to let us in as long as we carry it out. So we did. The food was very much authentic and affordable as I mentioned. There didn’t seem to be a standard policy on letting people in for food so I don’t know if I’d be back. Didn’t feel very welcome after all that.

Yesterday, I had driven by this place coming from work. I was curious about the place because I saw a chubby mexican woman wearing clothes that couldn’t fit. And she also was putting on a belt while walking with her friends towards the entrance of this club. I thought it was comedy night. So I decided to check the place out. They have some mexican live band and they were charging like $ 20.00 for the entrance fee. I thought it was overpriced. LOL. First thing. I was frisked head to toe by the bouncer who was wearing a bullet proof shirt that says police. It felt like some scene coming from the airport you hear about those Transport Security Admin guys on the news or the net. Now what does that tell me? It tells me the establishment tries to keep the place safe from violent confrontations of people carrying weapons. Now can you expect something like this from establishments like the soundbar or spybar in downtown chicago. I don’t think so. Apparently, the place must recieve visits from potential violent offenders to have such strict security. Guess what happens once I arrived in the club area? Of course, a mexican girly fight happens where the security wisks away the offender sliding down the floor like some UPS package delivery on the front entrance of the club. I do congradulate the proffesionalism from the bouncer on avoiding violent confrontations where police calls can result from unresolved fights that ends up a hospital statistic. The bouncer minimizes all potential violent confrontations. Excellent Job on the battlefront. Excuse me a battlefront? I thought going out to the clubs would be a place of joyful festivity and not Chief Sitting Bull’s war cries. That’s $ 20.00 worth of entertainment. Now I come and listen to the music. The music is a combination of oompa polka music with appalachian blue grass. Interesting combination? hmmmm? The band members are all short like midget size. I feel like I am trapped in middle earth watching Frodo the hobbit playing polka-blue grass speaking spanish in J.R.R. Tolkiens«Lord of the Ring». They have this mayan indigenous look and play oompa polka-blue grass in spanish mexican style. Wow. Great multi-cultural innovation. You can also hear this loud trumpet sound almost sounding like a dying canadian goose asking for mercy on the roadside. Aflac commercial? Now the dance area has been enclosed with guard rails separating the 3 dining/lounge areas. There are 2 bar areas. All of the people in the dancing area seem to be cattled into one group of the dance floor jumping up and down. It gives me feelings of clausterphobia when I see how close everyone is together in the dance floor. Maybe thats why there are fights breaking out in the area. There are two bar areas. One bar area has locations by the front entrance and another one all the way in the back of the club. I ordered a corona in a can. Guess how much I got ripped off? Yea $ 6.00 dollars. At first, I thought they were trying to rip me off because I was the only gringo. But no. They are ripping everyone off for a can of Corona that costs $ 6.00. And it gets worse not better. Somebody let out a nasty fart in the bar area and I was surprised some women stood around for it while I left. Apparently one of the men ate some healthy refried beans resulting an attractant pheremone for the women because you could still see them standing together taking the smell. I know it was one of the men because they were laughing but the women acted indifferently to the situation. I felt bad for the girl. These mexicans are chauvanists and have no respect or decency for the women. For the women surrounding themselves with those kinds of people, the situation will just lower their I.Q. a few points down deteriorating their mental health. I feel its trauma to the brain for the women in those conditions. I walk across the back of the club and notice a bar area and kitchen carryout area. The restrooms have its locations further back. Now there is an aquarium by the bar area. And I notice the fish tank to be very dirty. I am surprised there is still one fish in the tank still alive?! I ordered coca cola costing only $ 3.00. So there you go. Alcoholic drinks costs $ 6.00 and non-alcoholic dinks are $ 3.00. I needed to use the restroom area so I had gone there to find it occupied with alot of people waiting in line. There were many people occupying the restroom that you can percieve the uncleanliness of the area stained with piss and crap. Leaving the restroom area, I ordered a steak taco costing only $ 2.00. It was worth the price. I remember this place use to been a korean buffet a few years ago and it was very clean. Now it got worse. I just feel the owners should really pay attention to the maintenance of the club and this place could get better.

Never been inside, but ordering to the office is phenom! Delivery is always here within a timely manner, and food is authentic Mexican style, hot and fresh. Last time the delivery driver came she did not have change though. But the food is delish so a few extra $$‘s don’t make a difference.
