I had a coupon to use but they would not honor it as they said it was for a weekday lunch buffet not a weekend lunch buffet. I checked the coupon and no where did it say anything about a particular day, just that it was for a lunch buffet. When I complained they showed me a coupon that«everyone» else was using which said«weekend lunch buffet, but my coupon did not say anything. If they meant for it to be just a weekday buffet they need to state that and they should have honored their coupon, period. Mother had the beef and broccoli and said the beef was tough. Noodles were good. I had fish that was okay and some vegetables. Egg drop soup was tasty. Much of the food looked like it had been there for quite a while and this was at lunchtime. My suggestion is to find someplace else to eat. 10/31/2015

Had a Groupon coupon for dinner for two. Paid $ 12 so was happy about that. They normally charge $ 11.99/pp for a weekend dinner. Had I not had the coupon I wouldn’t have even considered staying. They should be beaten with sticks for charging what they do! The best word I can use to describe my dining experience is BIZARRE! My friend and I counted TWENTYEIGHT huge flat-screened T.V.‘s mounted all over the place. Most of them were tuned to some cartoon show. THAT… and the many tables overflowing with uncleared away plates is the«ambiance» they provide. Ugh… We were there at 7:30 pm on a Friday night and besides us there were about 6 other tables occupied. We counted 5 staff members whose jobs were obviously to walk around and do nothing. Not ONCE while we were there did we see any fresh food brought out until the very end when they put out a fresh cake on the dessert table. After the hostess seated us and brought us water she never came around again. They advertise food specialties consisting of Mexican, Indian, Asian and American. The only American I really saw was two dried up pieces of pizza, 2 dried up looking tiny chicken wings and french fries. Mexican was some pan of slop they called Mexican beans. A pan of sad looking chicken fajitas. NO taco’s, burrito’s…what you’d normally expect. Asian was a pile of fried fish HEADS, orange chicken(decent), small dried out looking vegetable egg rolls, 2 inches of icky looking egg drop soup and a few other equally distasteful offerings. Indian… well I’m NOT familiar so can’t comment. The 4 items I did try were overwhelmed with curry. Perhaps that IS what it’s all about. To be fair I have to say they did offer a nice selection of fresh fruit and the salad bar was okay… IF you’re a fan of iceberg lettuce. Dessert was so-so. Sign stated cheesecake but there was none. I took the last TINY piece of spice cake and it was good. The salt shaker on our table was FILTHY. The food tables were grungy with caked on food they didn’t bother to wipe away. IF that’s what the front of house looked like I can’t imagine what the kitchen or restrooms«offered». We chose to «hold our water» and go somewhere else. The pictures they show here are obviously staged. This is NOT what this dive looked like. I can sum up my feelings in one word… BARFCHOKEHACKGAG.

One stop for having all varieties of Indian, American, Chinese and Mexican Buffet. Really good bang for your buck.

Worst buffet ever!!! If I could give them no stars I would! Cold food Hard stale food No flavor at all Maybe they should have invested there money on better food instead of 20+ big screen TV’s and a bar… STAYAWAY!!! SAVEYOURMONEY I rather«F**k off for a burger». the only thing good they had was the coke I got…

Went to Aruha again with family for a late lunch and now I see what some people are complaining about. I was really shocked to find the man who was pulling stuff from the kitchen just putting the fresh food on top of the old. He was not changing out the steam pans. This is a huge no no in the industry. There were only two servers on the floor and a ten minute wait for a beer is way too long, Plus, i noticed they turned away well over twenty customers, telling them that they close for two hours before dinner. They were telling all these people to come back in two hours. That is a huge way to lose over twenty covers and not good for business. I hope they get their act together because there is a lot of potential for this place.

Not going back there. They tried too hard to cater to variety ended up serving the least authentic tastes ever. There is no identity to every food I tried there. Disappointing!

For the love of food, hard earned money, precious time, health, and everything else you consider important, DONOT even bother considering to eat here. I’m so sorry, I have never given any place a nevative review(well to this extent), but the food was THAT bad. I was«scared» to actually eat the food and I kept telling my kids to take a small bite first, if they think it’s old, do not swallow. We finished so fast because we couldn’t get food that looked fresh, decent and safe enough to feel okay after eating. My bad, I should have Unilocaled the place before I bought the deal from Groupon. The food, just from looking at them, were old, dry and just«scary» to eat. Anyway, we learn and we move on. Now I know not to go back there. Unilocalers, please do not waste your time and money in this place.

This has to be the worst buffet ever. Extremely dismal selection of edible food. Also they let you in and in our case don’t say anything about not refilling any of the food that is put out for lunch. This is because they don’t have cooks, sent them all on break until reopen at 5pm. Manager/owner didn’t take constructive criticism about making service matter along with having food. A-R-Happy? Zero happiness. I felt much better when we left. Please proceed with caution if you do decide to test your fate with this place.

This buffet is pretty good. The fruits were fresh, the soup(mushroom soup) was good, and other food was good overall. I went on Friday night and it was about half full. They opened about 2 months ago. There are 4 carts of food and a dessert cart. Salad cart looked fresh but didn’t have any salad. The Indian cart was good but the rice dishes were too flavorful(cardimon, cinnamon, etc). The naan was good with butter chicken. The Chinese cart had scwchuwan shrimp(good), crayfish(not good), spicy chicken(good), string beans(over cooked), and empress chicken(soggy). The Anerican/Mexican cart had pizza(ok), fried shrimp(good), tilapia dish(good), and others. The dessert cart had about 10 items but two good ones were coconut macaroons, and almond bar. Others were ok. They have a special on beers now and all tap 16oz beers are $ 1.99. They had Revolution beer which I had and was good. The dinners are $ 11.99 and it beats old country buffet by a mile.

Fresh and tasty food. Some very good fish and a nice stocked bar. Check out my checked in from two weeks later. They were out of brewed coffee and the ice cream machine was out of milk for both flavors.

Really good bang for your buck. Dinner buffet on a weekend was only $ 12.50 per person and great draught beer selection(I had Revolution Hibiscus) which was on special $ 1.99 for 16 oz! I mostly only ate Indian and it was very good and had great flavor. All the basics — 4 kinds of specialty rice, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, and garlic naan(though the garlic was very subtle). Mango lassi and fresh tea was included in the buffet price. I have a hard time finding an Indian buffet at dinner time so I was pleased. The Mexican selection was very small so I can’t say anything about that. Most pleasant surprise was the super sweet and attentive wait staff, who really did an excellent job and were full of pleasant smiles. They were better than I would ever expect from a buffet type restaurant.

Not at all good, one of the“best“things here are the fried shrimp which is most definitely just the frozen breaded ones that they just fry up, half of the food was never refilled during my stay, bunch of it was cold or barely warm. It seemed like a lot of the food was frozen. The website boasts about a vast array of international food, but there’s a barely a selection of food. Their ice cream also tasted… sour. Definitely not going back

It was tough giving this place 2, i wanted to give it a 2.5– didn’t quite think it deserved three. So we heard about this place when we initially went to a new restaurant in the same lot– 100 calories pizza. The main pizza chef guy– tall guy, really nice and helpful– suggested we try the new buffet called Aruha. I think he said that both restaurants were owned by the same people, but I’m not sure. In any case, he suggested we try Aruha and we did. We went on a weekday, around 1PM, and it was pretty empty. We were greeted by wait staff and asked if we could check out the selection before we sat down. I was kind of unimpressed by what few selections there were but we decided to eat there any way. We got some beer on tap which was only $ 1.99, a bargain, and the same price as their non alcoholic drinks. –Now the food– American: cajun fries and onion rings were kept under a heat lamp– they were not directly on the heating racks, just under the lamps. Fries tasted dry, onion rings were just ok. The lamps did little because they were not hot. The crispy butterfly shrimp was fantastic and probably my most favorite dish there. Didn’t try the pizza but it looked so-so. I think I saw a pizzaz pizza heater thing near the food which is what I think they cook the pizzas on; this felt odd for a buffet. I didn’t try the wings but they didn’t look that impressive. Chinese: Orange chicken was ok for a buffet. The fried rice was dry and just bad, could not finish. But in their defense, I’ve never really had good fried rice at a buffet. Mexican/Latin: They had some good pepper steak and it was spicy. The steak was a little dry but overall, I liked it. The jalapeño poppers were not hot and not good. I didn’t know that they were considered Mexican cuisine but they were in that section. Come to think of it, the chicken wings were in the Mexican section as well. I didn’t try them but they didn’t look that good. There was some meat in mole? sauce that looked good but I did not try it. Indian: The tandoori chicken was on point, quite good. This was my second favorite dish in the place. The Indian spinach dish was good too. Goat biryani had bones in it which I’m sure will be a turn off to many people. The potatoes in the Indian section, which may or not be an Indian dish, looked and tasted good. Everything in the Indian section looked great, including the garlic naan. The naan Looked soft and moist but it was disappointedly dry. Good garlic flavor, but dry. Mango lassi didn’t taste as refreshing as I’d like and felt a little too watered down? Not sure exactly– just lacked that pulpy mango flavor and it wasn’t very cold. Desserts: Is it fair to judge a buffet by their desserts? I do, and always have– lol I can say that I was disappointed in their desserts and it was the desserts that brought what could have been a three star rating down to a two. They have a dessert section filled with bite sized cakes. Pineapple cake and mango cake was good, cookie cake was good too, but I was there for the cheesecake. They had choc chip cheesecake and regular. Im no expert, but I think cheesecakes should be cold. These felt room temp. Shouldn’t they be on a chilled plate or something? Again, no expert but you cant serve lukewarm cheesecake. On the other side of the buffet was the ice cream section and a cotton candy machine. The cotton candy machine was impressive as I have never seen one in a buffet before. The ice cream was also good but, and this is a big but, I saw no toppings. Can a guy get some chocolate sauce or sprinkles or something? Final Thoughts: My lunch buddy for the day actually enjoyed this place and because of that we may be back. Again, I did not really enjoy my dining here but I don’t want it to go away. I want it to get better. Some things I would fix: Inform every employee of how things work and what things are. I thought I overheard one customer ask a worker on the floor about a particular dish and that worker had no idea. One worker seemed unsure if the cotton candy machine was operational and I just said«no worries» because it seemed like he was getting nervous. The cotton candy machine came with no directions that I saw and I assume most patrons figured it was off limits. Again, I am no expert but maybe they should focus on less types of food. Maybe cut the American. Do we really need buffet pizza? Just don’t take my crispy shrimp! I think they should focus on keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold. Inform staff of every dish and perhaps have them try them so they can offer suggestions. We might be back and I hope I will be able to change my review to a five star. The above are my opinions and based on my memories of the experience I had at Aruha. They should not be taken as fact and are not intended to defame, they are just the musings of a guy with some extra time on his hands.

The place is big and very well Yellow. The wait staff was very friendly. The buffet is in the exact same place as the previous chinese buffet that closed down a while back. They have 4 foods Chinese, Indian, Mexican and American. The beer deal at $ 2 for any beer during July is pretty good however the food was not. The Chinese food is dry and reminded me of jerkey. The Mexican food makes u want to run over to Chipotle which happens to be in the same lot. The Indian food lacked seasoning and authenticity and the American food was way too salty must be a ploy to make you buy more beer. The deserts were bite sized literally which made them dried out and not very good and the mango lasi tasted warm like the yogurt was left out too long… I wouldn’t come back unless they keep the $ 2 beers in which case I would come for beers at the bar and watch one of the 100 tvs all plating modern family.

Went to try it out and I was very disappointed. Someone already said it they have 4 types of food Mexican, American, Indian and Chinese. After eating at this place my stomach hurt a lot. I don’t think it will be around for long if they keep doing what they are doing.

Great experience. Went there last weekend for lunch and had a great experience. Loved the service and the food was great. My personal favorite were their desert menu which had a variety of cakes and puddings.

I was very happy with the warm welcome of the staff. They have four cuisines, American, Chinese, Mexican and Indian. They personally guided me through all the food and they told me to try some of the food which was the specialty of Aruha. The food was as anticipated, Fresh, Well cooked and tasty. The atmosphere reminds me of Buffalo Wild wings, Bar at one end and Buffet at another. We can have parties and also spend time with Friends on a game night. Hoping to return to Aruha soon with my friends and family on a game night.

They serve a little bit of Indian, Mexican, American and Chinese. While this sounds good on paper, in reality its pretty bad as they can’t do any of these cuisines well. The entire place smelled like bathroom cleaner and it wasn’t very conducive to a nice dinner experience. I will not be returning nor would I recommend this place.

Horrible buffet. Everything was cold. Wings have like no meat on them. Almost everything is tiny with like no meat. The even brought Apple juice that was pure syrup my little daughter almost threw it up. Wouldn’t go back.
