El Ranchito Dentro de Candela

I’ve ordered delivery from here a couple times and it’s been consistently delicious. My friends and I ordered the breakfast skillets and it was mouthwateringly good. I personally had the Chorizo Skillet and it was delivered in a timely manner. They packaged it very nicely in a styrofoam container lined with aluminum foil to ensure everything was warm and fresh. It might as well could have been off the straight off the grill for that matter when I opened it and started devouring the contents.
Other reviews mentioned how they have delivery issues but I fortunately didn’t experience any. I ordered directly over the phone and it was very easy and completely painless. Their website is modern and clear but perhaps they have issues with their online order routing. I would suggest just calling them up and placing an order directly rather than use some middle website.
I enjoyed their delivery so much that I decided to stop by in on my day off while running errands. The place was a little dark and dingy and I wouldn’t recommend eating here. But the food is top notch and oh so very good!

Got an order through GrubHub tonight — no issues with that process whatsoever, and the delivery was here within 5 minutes of the promised time, so no complaints there.
Had a coupon from GH for a free tamale with $ 10 order, so got one to try. The flavors were pretty good, but it was pretty dry by the time it got here, so that was a bit of a bummer.
The rest of our order was pretty darn good. My steak burrito was very tasty, and a huge portion of food… definitely not one to eat in one meal (for me, at least). The steak was flavorful, and abundant in the burrito.
My wife had the chicken enchilada plate, which was also a huge amount of food. I tried a bite, and I will say they were some pretty darn tasty enchiladas. They turned out to be a little too spicy for my wife’s liking, but I found the kick of heat a welcome addition.
Overall, we got a ton of tasty Mexican food for a pretty good price, delivered in a timely manner. I would order from here again.

Carry out:
I had the 1 chicken tostada 1 steak taco 1 ground beef quesadilla dinner (see picture). Chicken is good. Steak is ok. Ground beef no.
My coworker had the carne asada dinner (see picture). Said it was a good cut of meat and very tasty.
Restaurant is inside Candela bar and grill. Big pisa mexican bar with a dance floor. Kinda over looked it at first there’s a small El Ranchito sign at the door. That’s why it says de candela huh? Wouldn’t mind coming to sit in to eat and drink when there’s actually people there.

ONE STAR is for service.
Never received food! Ordered via their website. Received email confirmation and confirmation number 90 min later, no food. Call and they told me order was not received. Sounds like they need a new webmaster or order placing process. I know the food is good because I had it once. Now when we try to order MORE, no food. They missed out on our $ 50 order! They said go ahead and tell them order and they will send ASAP but by that time we wouldve been eating 8:30 or 9:00– not acceptable.

Just ordered from here via GrubHub and LOVED it. The portions were really great at a really good price. We even got the calamari which was also tasty. I’m definitely going to order from here again.

Food is great so we ordered it for delivery, estimated delivery time of 1:55pm — 2:05pm…been waiting over 2 hours for our food. Called the restaurant to find out they only have one delivery driver and that our food has been ready to go for a while but there was no driver to deliver it. They couldn’t give us a courtesy call? If that was the case we would’ve picked up the food. So now I’m still waiting for the food that will more than likely be super cold when it gets here. Very disappointed.
