I had a great experience with Michelle this morning! She was super friendly and really took her time with me.

don’t ever come here… you’ll be given a reverse mullet by a robot.

Absolutely awful. Have gone a few times, always mediocre, but my last cut was so bad that I had to go to a different barber just to have it fixed. I asked for a half an inch off and left with barely any hair on the sides of my head, a big chunk hastily cut out of the back, and uneven bangs. I started the day with somewhat long hair, and ended it feeling nearly bald. Do yourself a favor and find a real barber or salon and people who actually care about how you look when you leave.

Always understaffed. I’ve been treated like a monster for walking in 45 minutes before close. Multiple customers(like 6 or 7) will be waiting on one single stylist at 7:00 p.m.(They close at 8:00). Message to management: Don’t be so cheap that you make one employee close alone on a weekday. You’re next to Vandy. You have students and people getting off work. You have business. Have at least two stylists to close on a busy weeknight.

Came in just needing a trim for my graduation ceremony in a week and din’t want to pay salon prices. WHAT A MISTAKE The stylist, who never told me her name, cut off too much, gave me an asymmetrical bob, which is my nice way of saying my hair is TOTALLY uneven, and there are strands sticking out everywhere. It’s a mess. And I didn’t realize until I got home because the stylist didn’t even blow dry my hair! It was wet from the shampoo, and I thought it was strange she didn’t blow dry and, and I realized why once it was dry and I could see all the mistakes. Will be calling for a refund because I now have to go to a real salon to get it fixed so my hair doesn’t look horrible in my graduation pictures. Not even worth it on a college budget

2013⁄017 I was in the area and decided to have my long locks tamed. The good: The person was very good at cutting straight across. The bad: That was not what I asked for. I know when I visit a Supercuts not to expect precision cuts in which the stylist takes half an hour or more to trim each strand perfectly. I know that stepping in means I get out in less than 15 minutes. I know what $ 14 will get me. I do expect people to take direction. That didn’t happen here. I asked for a trim to below my shoulders, angled at the front, and layered in the back. You know, something they advertise on their corporate website. Something that other visits at other Supercuts have managed to do. As soon as they started chopping off large strands — straight across — I noticed that the resulting length was about 2 inches above my shoulders. Strike one. No angle at the front. Still straight across. Strike two. No layering in the back. Still straight across. Strike three. It’s been a couple of weeks, and I still wear my hair pinned up every day because I’m so embarrassed at how bad the cut was.

I went here to get a cheap cut and color. The facilities are… not luxurious. But, hey, «I’m getting a cheap cut,» I kept telling myself. The stylists are… not professional. I asked for simple highlights and the woman who was going to cut my hair acted like I was asking her to articulate the theory of relativity. I was passed to the other stylist. Overall, the highlights were much less subtle than I asked for and she cut my hair at least an inch too short. «But I’m getting a cheap cut!» I thought when it was done. WRONG. I went to check out and might as well have been at a ritzy salon downtown. I could not believe my ears when she said it would be over $ 100! I was so pissed off. The level of professionalism and skill are quite low. And don’ think you’re getting a deal. This place is fine for guys, but ladies– just pay a couple bucks more and go somewhere worth it.

Hmmmm… Sarasota, FL, eh? Well, I’ve been to this Supercuts and I thought I was at the training center. I’ve never had the same person twice nor have I seen the same people cutting hair twice. That said, my haircut has been substandard to minimal each time. $ 8.00 on what day??? I’ve paid $ 14.00 which is clearly indicated on the board. I probably would add a star if I had only paid eight dollars. There’s little to no attention paid to details. The haircuts last about five minutes. You get the picture. I definitely won’t be back since I’ve tried like four or five times to get a decent cut.

$ 8 haircut people, visiting Supercuts is often a gamble, but it was a great gamble today! I had Erica who did a fantastic job on my curly brown locks. She was really careful about all the ends, and she realized that the front needed some angles. My hair gets too big sometimes and she did a great job reducing the volume and texturizing it. I often go to more expensive places, but I won’t anymore. I liked it so much I tipped her the price of the haircut because I figured that was a 100% tip, but now feel like I should have given her a $ 10. Also, the review below seems a little racist, both in the ethnicity comment and the 3rd world nation comparison(WTF dude?).

Un-super cuts! The quality at this Supercuts resembles a 3rd world nation. I had Erica and she acts like she’s new but she said she has 3 years experience. For guys, I asked for a 5 on my sides. She did the 5 and then kept trimming to even my head that by the time she was done, it was a 3. My sideburns were uneven and she asked me what I didn’t like about them. Unless your ethnicity resembles the employees, I’d advice going elsewhere unless you are getting a basic simple flattop.
