My only review would be when they do a free ice cream day. My advice is to come here in the morning instead of during lunch or in the afternoon. I’ve seen that line all the way past Chipotle which is insane. Love ben and jerry. expensive though! but the location is good for a quick stop after eating at Satco.

Tried to go in at 8:30pm reading online that their closing time was 10pm. No where on their door are the hours posted.

What can I say, it’s Ben and Jerry’s! Delicious ice cream for typical delicious ice cream price. What sucks about this location is there is zero free parking. I like going there if I’m already somewhere else and can walk, but in case you were thinking of driving there you pretty much can’t! So my rating is for this particular place and not the chain. I’m guessing it’s really more for the Vandy students and workers.

We came in on a Saturday evening to an empty store and a weird vibe. Ice cream was ok, but there is hardly any parking nearby and the store is kinda grimy. Ok if you want Ben and Jerry’s only.

Who doesn’t love Ben & Jerry’s? The only reason I docked a star is because it’s pricey, hard to find a place to park and there’s always a line… but, eh. I know I’m being picky. Try to hit it up on free cone day! The line will be down the block but it’s worth the wait for free Ben & Jerry’s :) Be sure to try the new Greek frozen yogurt(blueberry graham cracker, specifically.)

No surprises, it’s Ben & Jerry’s. It’s too bad for my tastebuds that these store fronts are few & far between. My waistline and moobs, though, breathe a contented sigh of relief. I am not to be trusted with Ben & Jerry’s in the immediate vicinity. We’ve all had the moment: be it a super market, quickie mart or Walgreens/CVS… it’s late… possibly raining… you’ve had a long day… and then you see it: a pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. «It’s only one little measly pint,» you think. An hour later, you’re neck deep in shame and calories. You vow never to do it again… until you do. We’ve all been there. I won’t judge. That’s the beauty and brilliance of the store. Here, you won’t eat an entire pint in one sitting. You’ll order a Brownie Delight, complete with fudge brownie, chocolate/peanut butter ice cream, peanuts, caramel, and whipped cream. It comes in a bowl, not a pint. See? So much better for you! I should give diet advice.

It’s Ben & Jerry’s. If you’ve had their ice cream out of the grocery store freezer, then you know what to expect. It’s good ice cream, don’t get me wrong, but I’d much rather go somewhere else like Jeni’s or the Pied Piper!

Delivering on a promise to make you fat! Ben and Jerry’s is basically the elitist version of Dairy Queen. They have a lot of great Ice Creams to help you pack on the lbs. If there is one complaint, its that like SATCO nearby, free parking is nearly nonexistent. Chances are good you’ll have to pay SOMEONE for the privilege of trying this place. Ben and Jerry’s would be worth the full 5 points if they had a more«Maggie Moos» style ice creamery, as the many flavors would lend itself to such a setup.

Until now, I had only had Ben & Jerry’s from the freezer section of the grocery store even though I used to work in the area where this Ben & Jerry’s is located. The problem with the location is parking, as is the problem with most of the restaurants in the area. Good luck finding a free parking spot! My most favorite thing with Ben & Jerry’s in the freezer section of the grocery store is reading the names and descriptions of the flavors. While the store offers all the awesomely named flavors, only a few include the description of the ingredients on the sign. I’m sure if I had asked the nice guy behind the counter what all was in each, he would have gladly answered, but it took the fun out of it for me not to be able to read them myself. Besides, who wants to be the one to bug the guy behind the counter with a bunch of different questions? The service was very friendly, and the atmopshere is nice. Points lost for location and lack of descriptions. I think I’ll stick with the freezer section next time unless I am already parked in the area.

Nashville is so fortunate to have a Ben & Jerry’s in town. Located right next to Vanderbilt, this quaint shop is a god send when you are craving some deliciously creamy goodness. Heavily frequented by Vanderbilt students, Ben & Jerry’s can get pretty crowded at night and late in the day on weekends, also sometimes this place is completely empty. Magie Moo’s definitely has more creative toppings for its ice cream cones, but the quality of Ben & Jerry’s outshines it big time.

Are you kidding?! It’s Ben & Jerry’s! How could you go wrong? As if this place even needs a review… Regardless, I figured I might as well chime in on the Vanderbilt B&J location if only to let you know it is up to par with these ice cream gurus’ standards. It offers all of your favorite organic and low fat frozen yogurts, ice creams and sorbets. They also offer sundaes, shakes, cakes and myriad other tasty frozen concoctions. This Ben and Jerry’s location is pretty prime. It’s walking distance from Vandy’s campus and just up the road from Hillsboro Village. It’s relatively inexpensive(same prices you’ll find in any of the other locations), and the staff has been as kind and helpful as you’d expect. I can’t say a cross word about Ben or Jerry, and I’ll bet you can’t either.

I decided to review this location back home in Nashvlle… mainly. b/c I was craving it badly. I had so many good times with friends here. We would walk over from Vanderbilt and get ice cream and then get some tacos next door. It was great. The ice cream itself is amazing and I dare you to tell me otherwise. Actually. I dont dare you if you are bigger than me and can kick my a@#. I guess I could look up Ben & Jerrys and see if one exists out in San Fran. Maybe my wish will be fulfilled.
