My hair was half way down my back and I wanted a change (cut to my shoulders). I am not usually one for drastic change. I consulted with Sarah Price (Urban Betty Salon) who weighed the pros and cons with me and told me what she thought would look best. I told her to just do it and use her judgement on what would look best. She did, and I am absolutely in love! She did an amazing job, and I am super happy with it! I came across Sarah on Unilocal and noticed in the picture my husbands band mate. Since I loved her hair, I knew that Sarah would be able to do what I wanted. She did not let me down. I showed her a picture of the dye I wanted and immediately knew which questions to ask to ensure it came out in a way to match my needs. Also, don’t take her advice for granted. If you come in dead set on one idea, but she suggests something slightly different to work with your personal features don’t be afraid to take her advice. She knows what she is doing. Her price is very reasonable for the amazing work she does. Leave her a good tip. :D

This salon is AMAZING! I have had a lot of hair issues and after finally growing it out to my natural hair I decided I wanted something fun and found Sarah! I was very nervous but Sarah’s excitement and confidence made me feel like I was in great hands. Then, she delivered! My hair is exactly how I wanted and I didn’t even picture it this good! She’s very honest and talks through the process with you so you feel comfortable! She really knows how to read her clients and give them exactly what they want. Would recommend her to anyone! She’s an artist, go ahead and trust her with any thing you want, she will tell it like it is and the best way to achieve it while keeping your hair great (which not a lot of hairstylists will do because they want money). Always going back!

After having bad experience after bad experience, my girlfriend and I were still on the search for a stylist who could work with blonde hair. We had tried just about all of the top salons in Nashville but were disappointed with trendy high priced places who could not deliver. This all changed as soon as we stepped into Sarah’s presence. Her space is intimate and such a nice contrast from the salons we normally go to that generally send a pretentious message. Sarah is so real and honest-​no frill. If she recommends a product, it’s because she really believes in the integrity of it. If she advises you toward something with you hair, it’s because she’s taking many things into consideration and wants to create something that softens and flatters you. It really stood out to me that she has an eye and intuition for what will or won’t look good on you, your skin tone, your face shape, etc.
I could gush about how impressed we were with her. She is affordable without sacrificing quality, which almost saddens me considering there are stylists with crippling prices and not even a fraction of her natural talent. Thank you, Sarah, for everything you resemble and for your beautiful work.

I was a bit nervous about finding a really good hair stylist after having moved from California to Nashville, but after having met with Sarah, my worries vanished. Not only is Sarah personable and friendly, she is experienced and a pro, who never fails to nail that color or shall I say, multiple colors I am aiming for. I always leave loving my hair and my hair is always looking bitchen, edgy and healthy with her help. She is amazing and talented with colors, and right now my hair is all kinds of red orange And yellow. Which never fails to get people complimenting on it quite often. One of a kind! I am so glad to have met and found Sarah! She is incredibly affordable (I’m a full time college student working only part time) and her quality of work is excellent. I was referred to Sarah by a friend after I had a cut that was kind of messed up and my regular stylist couldn’t fit me in to fix it. My hair has been especially difficult to manage since I had some surgery earlier this year and has been really crazy post anesthesia. There aren’t enough stars on this thing to describe how fantastic she truly is. She fixed the cut and has been adjusting it to help make it work with my present issue. We recently did a beautiful caramel baylayage and I could not be happier!!! Sarah listens to what you want but she also has plenty of ideas and can creatively guide you to a style and color that will look amazing on you! And if you pick something that maybe won’t work well with your face shape or skin tone she will be honest and tell you! I love that about her! She will never steer you in the wrong direction! She really cares about your concerns and helps you feel at ease and is a problem solver! And she is SO SWEET! She’s so kind and she cares about the individual in her chair. I admit it– I’ve been one of those crazy high maintenance clients with my hair in such disarray post surgery but Sarah has been gracious and understanding. Our hair (I think especially for women) is very important to us and is a big part of how we identify ourselves. And with that in mind she has given me and my hair so much TLC to help it return to its former state of awesomeness presurgery. Her hours are flexible and her prices cannot be beat anywhere. She is a star and I always look forward to our appointments! And there will be sooooo many more in the future because I can’t imagine going anywhere else now that I’ve found her!

After 2 years in Nashville, I think I’ve finally found someone who can cut my hair! I’ve been trying to grow out the length of my hair but the last trim left me with some weird thing layers and an unfortunately flip thing happening. I found Sarah on Unilocal and she was able to fix it up without losing the length. She explained my options and what she was doing as she cut. Really happy with the result and looking forward to going back when it grows a little more! Very reasonable price, super friendly and a comfortable environment!

AMAZING! I was in from out of town and Sarah made time for me on a Sunday last minute. Not only was the color and cut great but Sarah is super easy to talk too! Sarah is amazing! She makes you feel so comfortable right when you walk in and she’s so down to the earth. She uses amazing products throughout the whole appointment and is always sure to tell you what she is doing/​using. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my hair already and it’s only been a few hours! She is so great at ombré! The colors work so well and she makes sure the color will look great with your skin tone. I will most definitely be back and my friends will be going as well! :)

The best things about Sarah the stylist? She listens to the me AND works with me on color selection and style/​length of cut. Then she executes superbly! She takes the time to answer all my questions and also explains as she is highlighting and cutting. I have entrusted her with my last 3 highlight/​lowlight/​haircuts and hope I don’t have to find a new stylist for a long, long time. One more thing, she focuses solely on ME and gives me plenty of time and attention. I never feel rushed. My last stylist used to always work on other clients along with me and it drove me crazy. So glad I moved on!
