Hair By Nash

5 stars isn’t enough! I was very worried about having to try someone new so I did a lot of research. Nash has an extensive book of return clients… I now understand why! I have VERY thick, long hair and not every hair stylist is experienced with blonde’s. Nash did a fantastic job and was QUICK! This usually makes me skeptical but there is nothing I would change at all. Getting my hair highlighted every 6 – 8 weeks, I really appreciated that Nash was thoughtful to not «overhighlight» what was already blonde! Nash is very experienced and just a really pleasant person to chat with. If you can get in, you will not regret it and you’ll book again before you leave.

A few months back I scheduled a blowout for my sister & I for our birthdays. Nash ended up doing mine & by the time she was done I knew I had found my new stylist! She listened to what I wanted to achieve and broke down the steps we were going to have to take to get there. Months later she has managed to get me EXACTLY where I wanted to be, while keeping my hair healthy! Being a bleach blonde can be damaging but she keeps my hair healthy & always makes it look Fabulous. You can tell she loves what she does because it shows through her work!

Nash does a stellar job, had her give me a trim so I could have my long hairs grow back in. She shaped and formed it beautifully. I am very picky about who cuts my hair and definitely will be returning to Nash. Hit her up for all your hair care needs!!!

I was looking shaggy and needed a tight cut for the holidays so I booked an appointment with Nash at the Loft Salon. I usually go to barbershops, but the last few cuts have been inconsistent. I wanted to find someone who is good with mens hair and could do something stylish and different. Nash gave me a super tight fade using scissors instead of clippers – which was a first for me. I was a little skeptical at first, but holy s*** it looks great! Highly recommended for great mens cuts!

I can’t say enough of Nash’s talent to create a style or work with you on a hairstyle you want. She asks the right questions and gives great recommendations. I’ve been with Nash for over 10 years and that says a lot due to me being particular about my hair. She’s the best!!!

I went in yesterday to have my hair done. I wanted something very specific: cut the sides and neck the shortest possible without showing the scalp, and dye the top coral. She delivered exactly what I wanted and I left the salon beyond happy with the results. She’s a great stylist, and a sweetheart! Very passionate about her job and very knowledgeable too. I can’t recommend her enough.

Nash is awesome — totally recommend her. She asks a ton of questions, makes you feel like she’s really listening to you, and works with your hair instead of ‘trying to tame it’. She did a fantastic job with my cut and blow out — I’ll definitely be going back.

I wish I could afford to fly to California every time I needed a hair cut/​color, because I love what Nash does with my hair. I have a natural wave and Nash gives me a cut that brings it out beautifully and requires minimal styling. Nash is also amazing with color. I asked for something natural-​looking, but richer, and she gave me a gorgeous demi-​perm color that I got tons of compliments on. Until I’m rich enough for more regular cross-​country hair appointments, I’ll be visiting Nash on my annual San Francisco visit and being scared to see anyone else (but eventually breaking down) during the intervening months.

I’m so glad I found Nash. There’s a reason she has five stars! She’s friendly, attentive, and definitely knows how to cut hair! When you tell a stylist that you’d like it a certain length or to take off just 2 – 3 inches, usually you’ll end up getting a lot more taken off — Not with Nash! She got it at the exact length I asked for, and gave it great shape and volume. My hair is now pretty low maintenance, I don’t have to blow dry or style it every day; with the haircut she gave me it looks good any way. I will be revisiting her for my next haircut, I’ve already booked it!

I started going to Nash a few years ago and have been going back since. She always gives me what I want but is also enough of an artist and stylist to contribute to the process and make suggestions. Nash is also always punctual, professional and accommodating. My wife started going to her, too, and her hair has never looked better!

My husband and I started going to Nash several years ago and are so smitten with her work that we drive an hour each way for our haircuts. She listens and works with you always offering helpful advice about how to modify your cut or style given your hair’s texture, quirky cowlicks, and coloring. She’s truly passionate about her profession and I always leave her salon feeling a little hipper than when I walked in. (For the other 40 year old mom’s out there you know how important this is). She’s great with providing simple «do it yourself» tips for styling your hair at home and always knows the perfect product to suit your cut. Her knowledge and skills, coupled with her absolute professionalism and awesome personality make going for a haircut feel like a mini-​vacation. Look no further, she’s your girl.

Nash is the best! I’ve been in SF for 7 years and had been struggling to find a stylist and colorist that I love and never want to leave. Nash is it. She is super professional and talks me through everything she is doing. My first visit to her was a risk as I went from medium length hair to a long pixie… and it was amazing! I always get compliments on my color and cuts and it’s all because of Nash.

Nash is really an artist when it comes to hair styling. She has consistently made my hair look amazing, even months after the haircut. The color has also lasted for a really long time — I love the copper/​dark red combination she picks out! She is personable, with an awesome sense of humor, and very fun to talk to. I really love getting my hair cut and styled by her and so happy that she has her own business now! I would recommend Nash to anyone and everyone!!!

Nash is as good as it gets. She is seriously the first hair person I have ever been loyal to, I have followed her from salon to salon for over 2 years now. She listens, comes up with good ideas for my hair color and cut, and is fun to talk to. I love what my hair looks like every time. I like being a little creative with my hair and she is perfect for that, and SO good with the colors! Nash is the best!

Nash is simply awesome! I stumbled across her when my wife insisted I get a «real» haircut before our wedding a year ago, and I have never gone back to the «fake» haircuts I used to get. My favorite part about Nash is her ability to communicate hair — she didn’t settle for «I want it shorter,» as I was lazily inclined to indicate. She’s able to patiently ask the right questions and basically has educated me on what I actually want my hair to look like — it looks much better now. She also has done a great job trimming my beard before, which is quite the tricky task. It also helps that she’s just an enjoyable person to talk to and always has fun stories. Nash is the bomb … In addition to being a fun and wonderful person, she always gives me the best cut. Simple as that.
My wife even started going to her and loves her work — I might be the first guy to recommend a stylist to his wife!

I have been seeing Nash for my hair for 3 years, following her from a salon in my neighborhood to her new set up in the Mission.
This girl knows how to use a pair of scissors, and boy is she a little color chemist too :) Nash will tell you what she is doing to each layer of your hair, like a fashion designer draping a dress: «the bottom layer should do this when you’re wearing your hair like that, but you still want plenty of this from the top layers when you style it like that».
She’s crazy knowledgeable with the color she uses also, and isn’t afraid to suggest new tones or placement of foils. I was in a color rut a few years ago, trying to figure out what I loved and made me feel bangin’, and she walked me through beige-​y Victoria’s Secret color and length, to power blonde beach babe, to a chestnut ombré with long layers, back to blonde and cut the length (talking me out of bangs!), and now to a choppy «lob» with great natural looking highlights.
She’s also an awesome listener, and gives great advice, which you KNOW you need in a hairstylist — I’m so happy to be her client and to call her a friend!

Nash does great hair — when I moved to SF I found her and she does the best color for blondes. A lot of people have struggled with my hair color but she does the best mixture of low lights with my blonde color.
I won’t go to anyone else!

Nash is awesome! She’s been doing my hair for 5 years and always does a great job. She’s fun to talk to, cute as a button, professional, and creative! We’ve done everything from watery mermaid purple-​blue-​green highlights to leopard print on my shaved head! She is an artist! She knows queer hair, isn’t attached to gender roles, and has fun and innovative ideas. She’s the best!
