Great venue and cool atmosphere to have an event around 50 plus and good sushi for Nashville …

I’ve been here two times now as a guest. First time was actually my Birthday and was with a group celebrating upcoming Birthdays as well. Second time I was there for a showcase.
Now as a guest I learned you have to be a member of this place. As you see not very many reviews, why? Because this place is meant to be private and secluded. Whether you’re business, a country star, or just someone wanting privacy from the public eye, I think this is a great idea. I can understand there are those that just want to get away and relax in a place feeling like it’s your own.
Only way to get in is by thumbprint that unlocks the door. Or just know someone!
As a member the staff is required to know who you are by name and it has a LA style atmosphere. DJ and dance floor included with nice tucked couches and booths giving you the freedom without judgement.
They do have a menu to balance out your drinking. You can rent out the place or just pick a spot with your friend’s membership.

Citizen as a subdued retreat from the party action of other M Street venues is AOK. It’s a semi private club which is part of the building complex holding Virago, Rosewall and Saint Anejo. We spent an abbreviated time in Citizen taking a breather while partying on M Street celebrating New Years eve. Citizen is a bit staid, especially compared with the noisier other places on the street.
