You would think that such a fine restaurant would have their stuff together but they don’t. Everyone from the hostess who spilled coffee all over my cup and saucer without offering a napkin, to the waitress who takes notes for our order but can’t deliver the food correctly, to the kitchen staff that runs out of orange juice and yogurt which is part of the continental breakfast. Getting refills on coffee is very difficult. It took so long yesterday that i went into the lobby to get more coffee. This is our third breakfast here and each day its been pretty much been the same deal. For the prices they are charging for the food at this restaurant, the staff should be trained properly. Very disappointed!

My wife and I had our anniversary breakfast here for the third year in a row! They had flowers on our table to greet us and the staff all knew that it was our anniversary. What an amazing experience! The food was excellent. We had the pancakes and the French toast.(Not ordinary by any means) We will definitely be stopping by here again next year after a wonderful night in the Union Station Hotel. Thank you Allie(our server) for making a memorable anniversary!!! And thank you Glen for setting it up! Chance and Diane

Atmosphere decadent, food tasty, but seemed to take longer than expected to arrive. We had chicken and a dish of beef tips and gnocchi.

If you are looking for a steak house this is not it. They have 2 choices a strip and a filet. I ordered the strip medium well and it came in two pieces one of which was cooked properly; the other piece was medium rare. My dining parter ordered the same medium rare and it came out closer to medium. On top of this both steaks were tough. There are many other better choices in Nashville.

Good food and good service. I had breakfast here a couple times while staying at the Union Station hotel. Fairly pricy for breakfast, but it’s an upscale place.

Great bar at Union Station. Grab a drink from Steven Lester the bartender and ask for something, «Not awful». Sing him a song and it may be used on the next Hilton Commercial!!!

The food is mediocre. There is nothing special or memorable here. They have the basics and your meal will be fine but you won’t remember it. The sides are small, I’m talking 7 bucks for two carrots cut into pieces. With all the great restaurants in nashville you can skip this one.

We came here for Sunday lunch and it was a dismal failure. They weren’t incredibly busy, with perhaps three or four other tables of patrons. I saw at least three servers and the hostess walking around, but after twenty minutes we still hadn’t been given menus. I realize this isn’t fast food, but I don’t want to waste that much time – that’s just ridiculous. It was especially weird that staff were very attentive to other tables, just not us.(We were dressed in what I would call preppy casual attire – not sloppy – and had a toddler, but he was being quiet and well-behaved, so what gives?) We asked two people for the check(for a pair of teas which they did bring), and still no one was coming back. Finally the manager stopped by, and we left. Oh well.

Excellent food and décor. Ambiance is tall ceilings, roomy table spacings. Feels circa 1950s. Fine service without all the snobbi-ness of fine dining. Although it’s easily fine dining. I didn’t think jackets are necessary and you wouldn’t be out of place dressed in business dress casual.

Went for brunch. Very good food(shrimp omelet and pancakes both excellent). Service was a bit messed up; they seemed surprised that patrons would still be arriving at 12:55.

Breakfast was disappointing. It took 45 minutes for our food to be served. There was no explanation for the delay and the restaurant was not busy. The food was decent but the timeliness was ridiculous.

I love this restaurant, staying at the hotel as a guest and I would usually venture out after one visit. The food has been exceptional and there are so many more things I’d like to try! This is my second dinner here and I plan to eat here again on my final night here! The waitress Holly was exceptional! Cheese tray a must! Salads amazing! Silver Palm Cab fabulous!

Old school service, fresh food flair. Nestled nicely in the atrium of the historic Union Station Hotel. This Nashville jewel is an old retired train station that film crews swoon for and locals honor. The ornate décor smacks of the Waldorf. Dress up! This is a white linen restaurant with intimate seating and a dress code. Ladies should wear a dress, gentleman slacks or suit. From the valet to close of service you will feel pampered. This is superb excellent service that I have not seen in years. Artisan cheese tray could have used fresh jams, figs, honey and more cheese. The 108 drink muddled to perfection. Lamb not gamely fare, delish! Bravo!

I’m from Boston but was visiting Nashville for my sister’s graduation, and we had her graduation dinner at Prime 108. I am a history buff, so I loved the layout of the restaurant and hotel, with it being an old train station. Everyone was so nice and our waitress Holly was a peach! Holly graciously answered our long list of questions about the menu and was very knowledgeable and kind. I’m also a big fan of bread baskets, I like to consider myself a bread basket connoisseur. Prime 108’s bread basket was amazing. Warm bread with a nice spread of olive oil, butter, or a tomato(I think) spread as options. Post bread-coma, my boyfriend and I split the Caesar Salad to start(they even brought it on separate plates for us) and I went with the Shrimp and Grits for my entrée. Oh. My. Word. It was fantastic. The grits were more of a grit-cake and the seasoning and flavor on the shrimp was to die for. The combination of that with the sausage was perfection. For dessert(yes, shockingly there was still room, but quite uncomfortably so), I had the Red Velvet Cheesecake and my boyfriend had the Carrot Cake. Again… amazing. I’m salivating just thinking of the crumbly cookie crust on the cheesecake; anyone want to fly me to Nashville for dinner? The icing on the cake(figuratively and literally) was my sister’s dessert. I had asked the host if they could write«Happy Graduation, Congratulations!» or something on her dessert and he said they couldn’t. He said they could put a candle on whatever she ordered and I thought that was great! Not only did they bring the dessert with a candle in it, but the ***entire restaurant staff signed a card saying congratulations on her graduation*** I have never seen a restaurant go to the extra effort for something like that, and it was honestly such a genuine gesture. I highly recommend Prime 108 if you’re visiting Nashville or are looking for a nice restaurant. All aspects of the night were wonderful, thank you, Prime 108!

Was staying at this hotel and had both breakfast and dinner here. Both were very yummy and I would probably come here even if I wasn’t staying at the hotel. The décor is absolutely stunning in there and waiter was very attentive. Approved!

We came into this restaurant for a late lunch. My husband and I ordered simple food but both started with the lamb and fig soup. It was very rich, more like a stew. If they let it cool completely they might have skimmed the gobs of fat, it was too much. I also had 2 large tendon type slimy Peices in my dish that I had to pull out and set aside. The server ignored it. I almost liked the soup but thought it was one dimensional and needed a brighter. Perhaps kitchen was was on a break and it didn’t get its proper(or any garnish). My husband and I thought a dollop of cream fresh and citrus zest would have made it. The Cobb salad was nice. The ranch dressing was super tasty(duh, it’s ranch dressing). My crab cakes were meh. Looked pretty but tasted like they were out of a box from freezer or Costco.(Not horrible by any means but not awesome) The server was nice but a bit slow considering we were one of two tables in the whole place. We are staying in the hotel and will looks elsewhere for our next lunch… Maybe breakfast is their thing.

Definitely a high end place that I would like to return to. I went on a day it was fairly slow. It was early dinner on on a Friday so no surprise. I like the ambiance and décor. It seems like it fits well with the hotel. Classic look of a historic building with a nicely renovated feel. As for the food and service both were spot on; though again our waiter only had one other table. Steak cooked to perfection and each of the sides were a delight on their own. As a after meal finisher they served up a chocolate truffle that was on the house. I think this is standard? The only thing preventing them from 5 stars at the moment is I didn’t particularly enjoy the 2 cocktails I tried out. That being said, it is a great place to get some great food.

A beautiful setting! The menu is a bit pricy&, but the portion size makes it a value! Party of 7 enjoyed a variety of fabulous foods from salads, cheese plates, lamb, crab & filet mignon to a fabulous wine selection and to top it off with apricot cheesecake!!!

This place is great! Service was amazing and the food was delicious! Only one problem throughout the night. The lobster corzetti was a little too salty, but the chef took care of it right away! We started with a cheese plate and the wild shrimp. The cheese plate was divine, but the shrimp was even better! The mango chutney was the best part of that plate. I ordered the ribeye and it was PERFECT. I got medium, and it was cooked to just that. My mom got the tasting menu and she loved it! It changes every week, supposedly, but this week’s was great.
