Taqueria Margaritas

First time here. Decided to try this little place hoping to find Authentic Mexican food… SUCCESS!
I had Menudo omg was so happily surprised it was Delicious. Chile Verde was great. With a family of 5 we tried different things. Everything was Good. Will make this my to go to place for sure

Awesome Mexican food from a family establishment. My wife and I have been going for several years and we enjoy it every time. The staff is friendly. The food is good. Décor so fair but what would you expect for such great prices.

Solid place. I usually get a shrimp super burrito (off the menu item!). It is quite good. The restaurant itself is not great, and it’s kind of uncomfortable to wait there. Prices are reasonable. I will continue to visit on occasion.

This place is AMAZING :) It’s a small hole-​in-​the-​wall restaurant but their food is delicious and their prices are reasonable. I’ve had their tacos and enchiladas de pollo and both are great :) The people who work here are also extremely friendly…

Delicious and inexpensive food! Their burritos complete my life. Complementary chips and salsa. Though their salsa today was SPICY, I still enjoyed it! Solid service every time.

Great place to pick up a burrito in MV. Prices are great, quality is good. While the place is clean it really isn’t a ‘sit down’ kinda restaurant. Mostly for the to-​go crowd.
I dig the food and will most definitely be back!

This place looks like it could be an amazing find but it is not. We were basically the only people there. They got our order wrong. The food was greasy and bland. I will never go back.

This place is a hidden gem. I can’t believe it doesn’t have higher reviews!
First off– price. Maybe I’m too used to SF prices, but this place was a bargain. I got 3 tacos for $ 6 and change– what a steal. A super burrito for $ 7? How can you go wrong?
More importantly, good quality and taste. The tacos were absurdly delicious and flavorful. The corn tortillas tasted homemade and the chicken was damn flavorful.
Can’t wait to go back.

This is by far the best taqueria in Mountain View. Truly authentic and the service is top notch! There are no frills and it’s far from the «trendy» spots and that makes it even better. My favorite dishes are anything with carnitas, the camaron al mojo del ajo, and the menudo is awesome! This should definitely be on your list of places to go!

Fantastic Food. I love al pastor, carnitas, and cabeza tacos. Brurritos are excelente too, and serice is Great.

From the outside this place presented as a nice little hole in the wall. Those are usually the best kinds of restaurants but unfortunately I was wrong. I ordered the number 1. Super quesadilla with a salad. The lady working the register brought out chips and salsa. Honestly, the chips and salsa were the best part of the meal, they tasted like they were just fried. The quesadilla was very bland. Grilled chicken with what I believe to be Monterey jack cheese. I will not go back.

Abigail the girl behind the counter was sweet
and helpful. But didn’t know how to count change.
I ordered a side of flautas, with guacamole
on top. They were excellent!
The chips were heated as they should be.

Hole in the wall but this place is a gem. Walking distance from my job so I decided to give it a whirl. Fresh chips were so good. Really yummy salsa. I had chicken enchiladas with green sauce (my fave mexican dish) & my taste buds & tummy was very happy! Meal fit for a queen! Will definitely be going back for my next fix!

Probably the freshest cilantro I’ve ever had. Get the carne asada fries. I don’t think it’s on the menu but they will make it and it is awesome!

Not very much room inside got seating. Too pricy for a super burrito. It was close $ 10!
I came in on my lunch and the cashier wasn’t there until I had to make noise on the counter twice. The burrito is hot when it comes out! That’s a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ for people. The good is a B+.

The tortilla chips are on hit… salsa is screamin too!
The place is pretty small which can be a problem if you are with a group or if it is busy.
Regarding the menu, they have a good variety of options including Mariscos and your standard Mexican fare. Everything I have ever had here has been good. Dude working behind the counter was pretty good as far as customer service goes, definitely a place that I will be coming back to.

Disappointed ! I really wanted to like it.
Friday about 450pm, strolled in, it was close to my hotel. Decided on taco trio I think it was #3. While waiting, doors open bugs and flying things all over, glad I wasn’t eating there.
Paid and took it to go back to hotel.
Well … Chips very very stale, dry meats and slivers of lettuce and ½ slice of tomato.
If I hadn’t been so tired from road trip I would have taken it all back.
Sorry but big miss here.

I always pass this place and finally decided to try it! I was too hungover to Unilocal it and was in dire need of a juicy burrito or some tacos.
Tacos =Ok. I’m really picky about the type of torillas they use and these didn’t tickle my tummy too much.
Super nachos= I give that 3 stars. I’m a huge fan of nachos and for some reason not many people can get it right. I ordered to-​go and shouldn’t have waited to eat them at work. There was no crunch to the chips and just turned out like a soggy mess trying to eat later. However, they were NOT cheap on amount of meat, beans, guac, sour cream and cheese. Next time eat the nachos right away!
Also, they didn’t serve water or any soda. Well at least I didn’t see any other than those Jarisco drinks I’m not fond of. I’ll maybe just MAYBE come back to try there burrito all though they seem pretty pricey.

Quality of the tacos definitely fluctuates depending on day of the week and time of day. I love a good al pastor taco and carnitas taco. Taqueria Margaritas has served me some of the best tacos I’ve ever had as well as some lackluster tacos.
This location is extremely convenient for me so the hubby and I frequent it pretty often, despite the mixed experiences. Service is very friendly. Décor is typical of your average taqueria. And price point is good. They are still waiting for their liquor license. If they have a few good beers on tap (or by bottle), it would probably elevate this place to 3.5 to 4 stars.

Who knows how many times I’ve driven by this place. It’s been tucked here for as long as I can remember living here. Decent taco selections, and you get some chips and salsa with your fare. Carnitas, lengua and cabeza are always good go tos. 3.5 stars
