I love this place. You can’t go wrong. So many options on entrée, dinner and desserts. I come as often as I can.

Buffet style, typical raunchy, tasteless food. I was taken here against my will and barely ate a few bites. I got nauseous. There is a particular server here that is very crass and awkward as well. Sealed the deal that I will never come here again.

If you eat for subsistence only — eat here If you’ve been kicked out of other buffets by going to the trough too many times — eat here If English is your third language — eat here If you’re okay with flies on your food — eat here If your main food staple is jello and tofu — eat here

Just another cheap chinese buffet with nothing great inside. Every single meat dish is heavily sauced, because they want you to eat less and more rice to go with it. There is a sushi stand where non of them are good. The habachi stand is better since its got vegetables and you can try to tell the guy who doesnt speak english that is cooking your to have no/less sauce.

I’m giving it two stars because my dad lives it beyond all belief. It gives a lot of options. None of those options are good enough to make me want to fill a plate up though. Normally when I go I eat less than half a plate because it’s so eh. I do order the hot tea because you can’t mess up hot tea.

I love this place ;D this is my third review too! The fish is the best of the very best! The crabs have perfect seasoning. And buffets are the beeeest stuff everrrr! Quality in macro-management!

Man, it breaks my heart that this place is already going downhill after only being open less than a year. The last two times my wife and I have been here the food has gotten progressively worse. Like they aren’t doing as well of a job changing out the food, and just letting it sit there way too long and dry out. The sweet/sour chicken almost tasted like chicken jerky it was so dry. The General Tsos chicken was almost entirely fried batter with almost no chicken inside of it. They seem to have removed some chinese buffet stapes, the last time we went they didn’t even have any fried cream cheese puffs on the buffet, when I asked about it they said they were rotating food. I understand rotating certain less common items, but that’s something you SHOULD have on every visit. It’d be like going to a Chinese buffet and them not having eggrolls. I really hope they get their act together, when it first opened it was awesome. Now it’s gotten pretty terrible.

Super 6 Buffet is your typical Chinese buffet with a mix of sushi and hibachi grill items. Usually I don’t have any issues with these places but I felt like the food wasn’t as fresh as it should have been. Granted we got there during a non peak time, 6pm on a Friday night, so maybe there wasn’t enough of a crowd to get the freshly cooked food rotating quick enough. Sure enough, the dinner crowd showed up closer to 7 pm and we noticed the freshly cooked items coming out. By then I was too full to do a comparison. I’ll come back again to try the food during peak hours and maybe give them another star. One thing for sure that I loved was how nice and attentive the wait staff was!

Unique things about this Chinese buffet — — Has a hibachi bar where you pick your raw ingredients to be freshly prepared — Menu items updated periodically; in the 6 times we have been here, almost every time there is something new, today there were taro cakes, stuffed gulf shrimp, green tea flavored ice cream that we had not seen before Pros — — Friendly staff — Kid friendly — Hibachi bar — Cheap(2 adults and 2 kids in our party for lunch today, costed us $ 20 not including tip) — Service prompt and courteous(at least when they use Chinese to interact with us) Cons — — It’s a buffet after all, some items not prepared as nicely as I would like — I had them cater a party I hosted, while the trays were huge, the quality of ingredients weren’t great, such as the rice they used(hardened the 2nd day), and the fatty chicken wings — They don’t seem to cater much, the front desk girl who didn’t speak English didn’t know what I was asking when I asked for«catering». The prices were set by the chef randomly, there were no set list prices, so I wondered if I was over charged. I asked for fortune cookies and they didn’t have them for me when the food was picked up

Dishes are typical Chinese Buffet items. Nothing spectacular. Food was bland. Most food undercooked. As an experienced restaurant manager, I can tell you many items are from frozen packet, ready-made, just heat up to serve. Sad to say, the part of my meal that day was the FRUIT.

This is our 3Rd visit in 2 monthes. Everyone in our family likes food here. We got so many choice and each of us found a few favor items. I like their seafood. Cooked or raw fish, shrimp and crab are great. They got hibachi, deserts and many flavors of icecream. Every visit was a happy ending.

Oh my god… my dear Super 6 Buffet has seriously gone downhill based on my visit just this evening. First of all, they had stopped, like almost completely stopped, refilling the foods after 7:25 pm, which was two hours prior to the closing time, and the bussers were a bit slow even though business was not busy at all. The freshness and quality of the foods were not as good as what I had before. Sashimi tasted like rubber and was still partially frozen; the baked tilapia and steamed fish fillets were okay but the poultry items like General Tso chicken, Honey chicken, chicken wings, etc. just sucked! The starches like fried rice and lo mien were alright but the fried vermicelli rice noodles was dry and lacked flavor. My parents loved the hibachi bar and just couldn’t stop going back and forth to pick up their made-to-order foods from the grill. Oh well, they seemed to have fun over there but both the boyfriend and I would have to say that everything here was barely A-Okay *shrugs*

Large restaurant, clean, large selection, plenty of parking and nice staff — this is where my good news stops. Everything. EVERYTHING was cold. Not luke warm, but stone cold. I tried the pepper beef, chicken skewers, General Tso’s, sweet and sour chicken(both types), spring rolls, French fries, potatoes, LO Mein. All cold. This worked well for my 11mth old son who didn’t have to wait for anything to cool(other than the egg drop soup and the rice) I’ve given a star for service, the staff were excellent. But otherwise, no way.

Very decent food for the price. The fish was excellent. Sashimi was just ok. The sashimi pieces tasted a bit too cold like they were close to frozen. Ice cream selection was fun though just average quality. The dim sum was just average — not memorable. I felt like Fred Flintstone eating thr huge ribs they had. The ribs were tender and satisfying. Favorite dishes were the mushrooms, fish, and SWEET pineapple :) I would recommend this place. Tons of food for s great price.

Finally, there’s a decent Chinese buffet in the Missouri City/Sugar Land area! My family and I come here quite often just because they have a wide selection of food for everyone. It’s definitely not the best buffet I’ve ever been to – but it ranks above average from my experience. There’s a decent sushi bar, a hibachi grill, a(very limited and not very good) dim sum selection, as well as the normal buffet options. From all the times I’ve been here, the food has been fresh and hot(which is surprising at a buffet) and most of it is pretty tasty! For dessert, it’s just the typical dessert bar that’s offered at Chinese buffets — BUT there’s a chocolate fountain that the kids love and most people are impressed with. There’s also a huge variety of ice cream flavors — the perfect way to end your meal. For about $ 12, it’s worth the money.

Decent Chinese buffet with larger diverse selection ranging from your typical Chinese buffet food(Sesame chicken and the likes) to more«upscale» options. One good thing that is noteworthy is that the seafood(sashimi, sushi, crab, and shrimp) are pretty fresh! The trade-off is the much higher price compared to usual Chinese buffet price($ 12.99 weekend lunch). Super 6 is a decent buffet, but I would rather go elsewhere with similar price tag.

Super 6 buffet just had their grand opening about a month ago. A friend had recommended this place and I was excited to try it. Bottom line — this place is clean, and has an above average food selection. The Hibachi Grill is similar to your Mongolian grill, but it had more dim sum items, a fresh, well-stocked salad section, and at least 6 – 8 choices for ice cream(not just your chocolate, vanilla, or choco-vanilla mix you’ll see at Sweet Tomatoes or most buffets). However, the quality of the items is hit or miss. I was not impressed with their weekday lunch sushi selection — mainly rolls and no sushi/sashimi(except for the miniscule piece of salmon on their Philadelphia rolls). Let’s be honest, most buffets at least have salmon, tuna, and snapper. GIve us something more than rolls. I saw some other pictures of sushi — perhaps that is only offered as a dinner item? The shumai was not very good. Along with char siu bao(pork buns), they had red bean buns which I don’t see too often. The tilapia filet was excellent, juicy, and fresh. The meats in the hibachi section were fresh. The pineapples were sweet, but contrary to a previous review, the watermelons were really bad. I hope that this was an «off day» for the fruits, but overall you have to pick and choose. Not bad — but hope to give it another run for dinner.
