Staff is friendly but they tend to forget about you a lot, even if it’s completely dead and you are one of two tables filled up in the entire place. The prices are low, but I find that the food is always very greasy. I’ve been sat inside with my friends when there was no one in the restaurant, and I really mean no other customers, and they say us at the very back near the windows, right next to their«trash tables». They filled up a few tables with the bus people’s mountain of dirty dishes, used napkins, trash, dirty cups, etc. instead of bringing it into the back room and washing the dishes. It smelled bad over there and no one came to clean the tables the entire time, but waiters kept coming over and depositing more trash and dirty dishes and food scraps to the trash table across from us. There was a very long wait for our check as well, probably about 15 minutes. It really grossed us out. I probably won’t come back for anything other than a quick milkshake.

This place sucks, do not come here. The service is so poor, they can barely manage to keep this dump somewhat clean. I didn’t come here for a solid 5 years and when I came back it was just as I remembered, unattentive and slow service. The only decent thing here is the ice cream, if that even. I’d rather make the drive up to Dairy Queen or Rosewood in Bellingham.

We stopped by this friendlys because I had a free sundae for my birthday. The place was pretty quiet and I believe there was only one waiter working at the time. He was very nice and funny. This restaurant looks newly renovated and they have electronic kiosks at every table and it’s very easy to accidentally get charged for playing a game. When I did this out waiter was very understanding and removed it for us. The ice cream as always was good. I think I would return to this friendlys if I was in the area.

I grew up with Friendly’s and usually love the food and the menu has changed and if everything goes right, the place is not bad. Unfortunately for this location, everything did not go right and the visit was a disappointment. This place claimed it was understaffed and the entire operation here is a disaster. A backed up kitchen and a clueless waitstaff serving uneatable food which actually tasted old and disgusting and from this I alerted Friendly’s HQ that this location needs a major overhaul or just needs to be shut down to lack of caring or lack of experience. The service was so slow and disorganized and when the food came 40 minutes later, it tasted horrible. Skip this location and travel a few miles down 495 to the Wrentham location where the service and food is much better.

Still waiting on our coffee people seated after us have had theirs for 10 minutes now, needless to say we stood at the door waiting for someone to acknowledge us for 10 minutes, should have taken that as a hint and went to Dunkin Donuts instead. Now let’s see how long the food takes? No wonder Friendly’s are closing all over! Oh by the way still no coffee, they said it is brewing??? Guess I should have asked where? Lol this is not the way to start out what was supposed to be a fun day of adventure with my Husband. This is ridiculous to say the least, I DONOT recommend coming here if you are hungry keep driving there is a Dunkin 100 feet up the road! Hey coffee is here that only took 15 minutes. Did I mention that the place is only about half full at best, there are empty seats everywhere so that is not an excuse! Very unhappy

Has to be the worst one in the chain and that has been told to me by others too. Half the tables are always dirty and a complete meal including icecream takes a min of 1 ½ hrs at best and that is just the last 4 times times(different days and times) that I have been there. Whoever is managing that store should be fired for incompetence. This is the closest one to me in Medway but I need to drive to another if I want to get out within and hour. My kids love the food but the endless wait is exhausting. We make a game of, which table will sit dirty the longest. Either the place should be retrained or shutdown. One last thing that would freak people out, the waitress used my Credit card to pay for someone elses meal, thankfully it was less then my meal ad I had her fix it btw the manager helped the waitress void the order but never came up to use to say sorry or anything.. This is the most incompetence restaurant in the chain!!!

Other than an occasional sticky table and small portions when it came to the food, this place isn’t bad. The wait staff here are usually attentive and always nice. The food isn’t great but it’s a step up from a fast food lunch. The menu feels a bit outdated but there’s enough variety to keep it interesting if you only eat here from time to time.

Slow service, waiter was inattentive, gave back wrong amount of change, used foul language, and ice cream was subpar. The menus were sticky and many tables were left dirty. The service was extremely slow considering the fact that there were only about three parties in the restaurant. Very disappointed for the price of the ice cream.

July 2015: SUPER Slow on 7÷24÷15, yet Sierra was friendly, kind, and helpful… overall, ok experience… I like how this location still has an actual ice cream window(as more and more Friendly’s are making you walk in to a counter… annoying!) Conveniently located on Route 109, next to Veterans Memorial Drive & Kentucky Fried Chicken. December 2015: Extremely fast service and incredible ice cream from Kelly, today in the Milford Friendly’s. They definitely got better with timing things and being much quicker! I was in and out of Friendly’s within 10 minutes for a sit-down ice cream purchase(I had a coupon and didn’t want to eat spill something in the car)! 5 stars!

The most disgustingly filthy restaurant I have ever seen in my life. All of the tables that did not have customers seated, at them were overrun with dirty dishes and napkins. The host just told us to wait a minute and she would be right with us she went out back spoke to somebody came back out and told us that she couldn’t sit us for a while because she didn’t have help, I told her we did not want to wait until somebody could help us and we were leaving. She then said well let me just see it you will find somebody to help you I told her that we were gonna wait till she could find a waitress and that we were leaving she made a stink and was the most rude filthy human being I’ve ever seen we will never be going back there again easy to see why they are in financial ruins

I went with my sister after going to the dentist, we decided to stop at a random exit and get something to eat because we didn’t want to go home right away. When you first walk in the smell really gets you, it almost makes you want to turn around and leave. We ended up staying and I ordered a Reese’s sundae, and my sister ordered an ice cream cone, the girl was nice, she let my sister try the ice cream because she didn’t know what kind she wanted. I don’t think I would go back, but it was okay for the trip. Also, at the end, some old man walked into the woman’s room, that was different.

I ate here with my sister one day. I had a mint chocolate chip ice cream cone. It was great. The waitress even let me try the ice cream before I bought it. My cone was pretty broken though. Slowest service ever. Ordered ice cream at window outside and it took almost 15 minutes. I finally knocked on the window to ask where our ice cream was and the manager said it was coming out. While they were making some of my items, the others were sitting in the counter and I had to ask if I could have them. My ice cream was not put in a to go dish. I watched as the kid took his hand(it was gloved, but he had been picking up ice cream scoops and touching other things) scoop up my ice cream and put it in a dish. I asked for a new one and he replied«I had a glove on» told him I didn’t care. He gave me another. I agree with the other review, I would have been better punching myself in the face. Never.ever.again.

If only there was an option for zero stars. The Friendly’s chain has never really impressed me but this was a family get together and the kids love the ice cream. However, even going in with such low expectations, Friendly’s still managed to disappoint. Service was very slow. They were very clearly under-staffed for this particular evening — it took quite awhile to get our food and several times we had to go and find a waitress when we needed drink refills. The food(when it did arrive) was lukewarm and soggy with grease. The restaurant itself was dirty and had a stale smell to it. Definitely will not be returning.

Better results from punching yourself in the face. Everything you can do wrong, they do. Talk over the people ordering. Yelling over each other to start. Waitress was holding a take out order while taking our order rather than write it down. Food took forever and was obviously under the heat lamps for awhile. Ood runner was saying«hot hot hot» when it wasnt. Good acting job. Only when I stared the manager down did I get a refill and our food. Go anywhere else. Horrible.

The food was okay but my friend and I were surrounded by tables covered in piles of trash and dirty dishes that the staff was too lazy to pick up and bring back into the kitchen. We waited a pretty long while to be seated as well, and there were plenty of open booths. No complaints on the food!

Coming back to this restaurant i thought would’ve been a good experience because of all those commercials advertising a better experience. I was wrong. It took them a few minutes to acknowledge us(we was the only people at the door) and a few waitresses passed by us, looked at us and kept walking away. Well we finally got our seats and ordered and ordered the chicken bbq sauce sandwich. It is not as good as as you would think it should be. The chicken taste old and corn taste like its was microwaved three times over. We ordered ice cream not a difficult one. 2 single scoop with hot fudge only and to go. It took about ten minutes and when i got home it had whip cream and a cherry on it. NEVERGOINGBACK. Why cant we give this place zero stars.

I also experienced a little spotty service(did not get a waiter at first after being seated) and took awhile to get a Fribble, but I’m giving 4 stars because it was such a pleasant surprise to see the updated and modernized décor and menu at Friendly’s. Haven’t been to one in easily 15 years. Very kid friendly, I’ve never seen such generous portions for a $ 5.99 kids meal(which includes dessert and a milkshake if desired). Lots of «healthier» sides offered with the meal. Recommend checking it out if you aren’t a huge stickler for service. They offer attractive deals for seniors including free dessert.

Food was cold, restaurant was dirty, waitresses all over the place, one cook who toasted the bread to the point that you couldn’t even bite, Mgr was helpful, I’d rather go pay my money at a higher scale restaurant, plate looked like this was the last of the fries, not good at all
