This establishment is a Grill and Chill. First, the owners are wonderful. They are kind, generous and recognize their customers. Second the restaurant is updated and spotless. There is an enclosed outdoor area for children to play and tables for adults to sit with their food and beverages. parents keep in mind that this parking lot is packed most of the time and busy! Third, consistently excellent fresh soft serve. You can tell that they clean their machines regularly. They also have constant product turnover as they are busy busy busy. Quality items, quick and pleasant service, clean facility, reasonably priced. A hidden gem in Milford. Not all DQ’s are created equal…

This is the BEST Dairy Queen in this area. I’m in LOVE with Dairy Queen and wish a location would open closer to my house in Westwood, yet every time I’m out in Milford(which is often), I make a special trip to Dairy Queen, on Route 140, so I can still visit my favorite place to get delicious treats. This location consistently has not only great ice cream, products, and staff, yet the service is consistently fast(the drive thru never has taken over 5 minutes, even with 4 – 5 cars before mine), and they consistently give large portions and aren’t raising their prices(like some other Dairy Queens). Additionally, this location has a large parking lot, on both sides of the building, and easy access in and out from Route 140(West Street), as well as a nice outdoor seating area. Oh, by the way, this Dairy Queen is also open year round and open until 10 Sun-Thur., and 11pm on Fri & Sat(yet during the summer they are open until 11 every night!). Can’t wait to come back. 5 stars.

Well I have been going there for years and I am glad they are here. Yes sometimes there may be a mistake, but they are very busy, and the teens they employ do their best. I had a large order recently and they forgot the chili dogs. So I did drive back for them. The kid responsible apologized, and I got some blizzards for free. That was nice. Now just tonight I got there just before they closed at 10pm. They shut off the drive thru sign right after my order for two burger meals. And yet in a few minutes I had my food. The server was cheerful, even after a long day I’m sure. And the burgers were delicious. What more can you expect. really… free massages while you wait?

I’ve been a customer of this DQ nearly my whole life. What makes this DQ stand out from the rest is that it’s family owned and operated and the product quality really shows because of it. The employees are exceptionally kind and friendly. I love taking my kids here.

The ice cream and food are good. I frequently get the 6 piece chicken strip basket which always tastes good, however the size of the chicken pieces was reduced significantly sometime last year. I usually get a blizzard for ice cream and they are sometimes good and sometimes terrible. This is where they lose 3 stars, they are inconsistent. I do not think it is all that hard to put candy into ice cream and mix it but somehow the employees at this DQ manage to screw it up about 75% of the time. Sometimes they don’t get the order right but most of the time the problem is that they don’t mix it correctly. They rush and don’t blend for long enough so candy or whatever you get in the blizzard is all on top and the bottom is just straight ice cream. Also, I ordered a banana split sundae once and asked for no whip cream on top. When I got home I saw the whip cream and went back to get a new sundae. All they did was scrape the whip cream off and gave me back a melted bowl of ice cream. When I called to complain to the manager her insisted that he made a new one but obviously he was lying.

I am just rating the ice cream which is as good as soft serve gets. I lived a few years in Vermont and was amazed at how bad the soft serve was in that dairy state and it is good to live where I can find a DQ!-) Unilocal has this on the(nonexistent?) W Street. I think it should be West Street. In any case go north on 140 from its intersection with 16. It’s after the bulk of the stores and on the left(west). When we were there it was VERY busy and they had a take-a-number system. Kind of a circus but worth it for the ice cream.

«At Dairy Queen there are several accommodations for children. In the bathroom there is a changing area for babies and outside of the restaurant there are several small kiddie rides. I personally still go on those rides with my friends(they are very fun).» –Chris «I like the open environment. I liek the friendly people. The lighting was nice and it was comfy. I recommend this place to everyone. It’s a good restaurant and has great food.» –Madison

It’s so nice to go to a fast food joint and get HOT food fast! Been here more than a few times and every time I go, we place our order, within 2 minutes our order is brought to the table HOT and very tasty! The burgers are awesome, the fish sandwich is very tasty, the fries are good, and well the blizzards are the BOMB!!! The Hawaiian blizzard is so so so delicious! I am never ever disappointed when I go to DQ!

We ordered a ½ birthday cake from their design book and received a cake that didn’t look anything like the one in the book. The owner said, «oh well. Then you shouldn’t have picked it up.» Great suggestion a few hours before the party!

Let me start by saying I can only rate this place as a quick-service restaurant, not an ice cream stand or cake decorating place, hence the 3 stars. As far as the food and the service go, it is one of the ONLY places you can go to get food that looks like the menu pictures. No sandwiches that look like they have been sat on, no fries that feel as though they were plucked from a toilet, or condiments oozing like pus from a wounded burger. It is exactly as advertised, AND it’s brought to your table so there isn’t a herd of hungry customers at the counter rubbing asses with each other as they wait. As far as portion size or prices, the economy has an effect on all food service. Try to go to the supermarket and buy stuff for burgers and fries cheaper. The store is pretty clean as well as the employees. Friendly service and atmosphere. Much more nostalgic than the other McPlaces around.

One of the big Milford hang out spots when I went to MHS, Daily Queen still draws a huge crowd on the weekends. I’m not kidding, you can barely find a parking spot and the drive through line is usually into the street. They do hot food and are well known for their numerous and delicious frozen treats. Although the quality of the food has not changed, the prices and the portions certainly have. Dairy Queen used to give you a lot of food for a pretty cheap price, but as with the bad economy and inflation, those days are long gone. Portions are not as bad but prices are definitively getting to the point where I would think twice between going here or just hitting up the freezer in the kitchen. But the food is always good and you will probably never be disappointed. Overall I gave this place three stars because of the good food, nice location and because it has been there as long as I can remember. The decrease in portions and the increase in price definitely kept it from getting four stars in my book, but its still a good ice cream place.

This local franchise is a nickle-and-dime operation. I have been going to DQs all my life, in the US and as far away as Thailand. Visited the Milford, Mass store yesterday evening with my family. Ordered a desert I have had hundreds of times over the years«Peanut Buster Parfait with chocolate ice cream and peanut sauce in with the hot fudge layers». Cashier took the order and walked to the prep area to tell them how to make it herself. Bill was presented and saw she charged multiple times for the peanut sauce. When asked why the multiple charges for the same item was told that this is the policy of the store and«that is how we need to enter it» and there were three layers so three charges for the sauce. I have never seen this multiple charging for the same extra in any DQ I have ever been. I called and spoke with the owner the following morning and she said this was the way«the computer needed it» and when asked specifically if this was the local store’s policy she replied it was her policy to charge a customer multiple times for the same extra in the same item. I will not be returning to this store, as they seem more concerned on collecting their 60 cents per desert layer than providing the customer with a good value for the money. If you are in the area I suggest you do not patronize this store before they start charging by the peanut and instead go to any of the competitors in the area. DQ in the location is good. Clean and has a well trained staff. The food is good like the Chicken strip basket and the soft serve ice cream. I love the Lemon lime misty’s they serve. Brain freeze…

Whats good: Chicken Strip basket and Chocolate shake. What’s better: Extra chicken strip added because the cook can’t count! Rant time kiddies… I’m very particular about my dining establishments. I’m a big guy so I need a little elbow room to eat. I don’t enjoy eating on top of random strangers in some«trendy» place where I can literally take my fork and pick at another diners plate without leaving my seat. Also, I go out to eat to enjoy the person I’m with, not everyone else in the«restaurant». Whew I feel better already. Anyway I’ve enjoyed the DQ since I was knee high. I used to love the hot dogs and chocolate shake at the one back in Maryville, but my tastes have matured over the years and I’ve moved on to chicken strips. The chocolate shake will be a staple forever.

This recently renovated Dairy Queen now looks as good as the food and ice cream tastes. Their food is definitely the best fast food ever. I recommend the Chicken Strip Basket and the Chicken Strip Snack Wrap. The desserts are the typical great Dairy Queen fare. If you’re into mikshakes and want to try something new, go for the Hot Fudge Milkshake. Yum! Their ice cream cakes are my favorite kind of birthday cake ever. This has always been and will always be my favorite restaurant in Milford.
