Neat, clean, and a helpful staff paired with great ice cream. This place is perfect. (I only wish it were downtown!) We took our preschoolers there and the two girls behind the counter were beyond patient as the kids waffled between this flavor and that type of cone and contemplated just how cotton candy can find its way into ice cream.

I like very much that they have Illy Espresso and that the girl working the counter didn’t say expresso (there is no x in the word, damn it). That always drives me crazy. Anyway, I liked the Illy and the salted caramel gelato was pretty good. I’m not sure which brand the gelato was, but I know that the regular ice cream is Richardson’s which is fantastic. I like that there is a place I can go to get a good espresso in my town. I don’t always want to perk my own. Give Dolce Tempo a try!

My wife and I sampled Dolce Tempo’s gelato a few days ago. It’s terrific. We’ll be making a stop here regularly on our way to and from western Mass and the Cape.
