Omg where do I start. The food was absolutely horrible. I spent almost 50 bucks at this place. I ordered the enchilada plate with 3 chicken enchiladas an rice an beans on the side. I swear to you it look so good but when I took the first bite it hot me. That it had no taste at all the beans an rice had no flavor either. I was so disappointed I couldn’t believe this place is open so late an serves such horrible food. We also ordered the Chilequilas I’m sure I didn’t spell that right. Lol but the where so spicey that my wife couldn’t enjoy it. An she likes spicey food. The we ordered the shrimp plate in which they where fried so crispy it was like eating a beef jerky but shrimp flavored. Thame only thing that was descent was the ham an egg sandwich I got for my mom in which she enjoyed it.

Its a decent place to get your pan dulce but la agua de guava was nasty it was just watered down too much.

I guess you can go wrong ordering the nachos. This is not authentic Mexican food. The only plus is that it’s open 24 hours. The taste is very lacking.

Came in for breakfast with my mom and daughter. They were quick to take our order and we didn’t wait long for our food to come out. I’m giving this place two stars because of the good service and how clean the place is, however I’m not satisfied with the food. My daughter wanted a cheeseburger and she can’t even bite it because it’s so dry and stale. My food wasn’t the best tasting food either. Only part I enjoyed about my meal was the juice, fresh/natural cantaloupe juice. They need to step it up…

Most of the food here is pretty great. Unlike most hispanic restaurants, this one has a variety of cookies, cakes, pastries, milks, sodas, etc. I would definitely recommend the asada fries because it’s the best in the menu, and you can share it with at least two more people. One thing I didn’t like: I ordered a hamburger and received an overcooked cheese burger it’s usually the young waitress who gets my order wrong, or forgets the difference between hamburgers and cheeseburgers. other than that, and a few more experiences, the burgers are typically fluffy and appetizing. I’d also recommend the thousand island as a condiment for your burger and fries

Yummylicious! A new word I made up for this place. All of the food I purchased was absolutely delicious and yummy. The chicken inside the enchilada was seasoned perfectly and so tender. The cheese and tortilla shells surrounding the juicy meat melted in my mouth. The tamale had the correct ratio of masa and meat. There was even corn inside the tamale which made it perfect! The beans were soooo good. All the food was piping hot and packaged just right for travel. My only complaint was the tortilla chips they put in the bag to go with the salsa, they were stale. Other than that, I would go back again.

I had a chicken taco and a beef taco. Firstly WHY the white cheese? What happened to shredded cheddar?! I wouldn’t say the food is straight up nasty because honestly it just has NO flavor! The flavorless chicken taco was definitely better than the flavorless beef taco though! This will be my first and last visit here!

Champurrado & pan dulce is good! Asada fries were nasty. Pure beans and watery guacamole. Fries were soggy right away. I was able to taste meat in one bite and it tasted like ground turkey. I will not be trying anything else on the menu. I will only go back for the champurrado and pan dulce(sweet bread)

You say you like Authentic Mexican Food?! Well it does not get any better than this place… BOOM! Did I say 24 hours a day… that’s right. Can’t STOP, Won’t STOP and that’s their ANTHEM. It just does NOT start with their extra LARGE Big Board Menu… giving you the whole picture of what your about to encounter. It doesn’t end with the Red or Green Salsa anyway you like it they got you covered and even down with a good Mole too. The Price is Right for a few bucks you can have a Carnita’s Burrito for $ 6 and it comes with a side of chips and salsa… y no olvides un otro pedazo de serrano chile fresca, Que Te vaya suave y Buen Provecho! I told you it don’t stop and will make you drool out the corner of your mouth… Once you walk in the door the smell of Fresh Pan Dulce grabs you by the Boo Boo and Says«Hey Now, I said Fresh Pan Dulce every day!» oooooweee… It always feels like heaven with smell of breads. They even have fresh chicharones turning in the corner with a salsa bar just in case you missed it there is a convenience refrigerator for soda pops, milk and even eggs or cheese. So when your cruising down the 105 Freeway near Long Beach Blvd in the City of Lynwood… don’t get crazy because your driving through the hood. Its what you would expect and I forgot to say that the whole darn Police Force eats there 24÷7… so you even got protection from the burrito chupacabra. Now you know its that good because those COPS are getting FAT, they even have a drive-thru and you can call it in from the freeway less than 2 miles away. You just GOTSERVED!

I’ve been going here like since forever, and will continue on coming here. They recently changed their cook but as long as you ask for the specifics you’ll get what you ask for. Try the nachos with carne asada! And make sure to ask for everything on it. Or else they’ll give you plain nachos due to «concerns» of other customers saying it was too much. You can never have too much on nachos! Al pastor tacos are great, and their champurada! Bolios taste so good when they’re fresh!!! Never had a bad experience at Lucy’s! Gracias!

Few things positive: friendly staff, clean and open 24 hours. The negative is the food had no flavor very bland and very sloppy. I ordered a carne Asada & cabeza sope and it didn’t taste like nothing. They didn’t use the right cheese. The lettuce they used was very yellow.

I’ve been going to Lucy’s since I was old enough to chew food. It is one of the hidden gems of Lynwood, and it’s open 24⁄7! While Lucy’s food is good all-around, the thing to get is the wet burrito. Green sauce, asada, extra chips on the side. With a large tamarindo, you’re in for an intense 30 minutes. If you’re coming here for American food like fries, burgers, etc go elsewhere, Lucy’s expertise is on the Mexican side of the coin that it advertises. The food is extremely inexpensive, huge portions, and always open. The area is a little rough but don’t worry, there is ALWAYS cops at Lucy’s.

This place is awesome. I’ve had a few meals here lately and was impressed with the service and food. When your order is the go they wrap it in a way to keep it warm, Nice touch! The Panaderia inside has delicious pan dulce to have with the addictive Champurado.

I was hungry for a breakfast burrito and what did I find Lucy’s. YES! This place is Panaderia and a Mexican restaurant. They had a good selection of breads. It was a popular item here. The majority of the customers coming in were going for the baked goods. I got to try those next time. I got a Chorizo con Huevos Burrito, no rice no beans. That was good!!. A bit skinny without the fillers, but well worth it. Yum! I also got a medium Champurado. It’s a chocolate Mexican drink that is usually paired with churros as a breakfast meal.(Another thing I need to try next time, lol). That was so good. I like it hotter than what I got, so I nuked it at work for 30 seconds and it was even better. lol The breakfast included some chips and they had a self serve salsa bar. The salsa was good, not too spicy. They had some banana peppers and jalapenos in there as well. I read a few reviews mentioning safety in the area. I can tell you, it must be safe. There were 3 sheriffs car parked and the officers were enjoying their breakfast. lol. If its good enough for the cops, It’s certainly good enough for me. lol. Try them out for yourself and decide. 2014 Review #356/365

I found Lucy’s by accident while I was in the area lucky me. I’ve eaten at Lucy’s in Los Angeles for many years back in the day this was our spot to hang out after we went dancing, the food was always good and we braved lines 20 – 30 deep to get this tasty food at 3 am we were crazy! But Lucy’s was a legend. I’ve had dinner at other Lucy’s and the food wasn’t consistent It just wasn’t as good as the Los Angeles restaurants. But this location is great so far. Lol I ordered a green chili burrito all meat with extra cheese. It’s spicy juicy and tender delicious beyond words but it’s too big too eat, I’m full after two bites. I definitely have plenty for lunch tomorrow. I also ordered a ground beef taco but what they gave me is shredded beef it’s perfectly seasoned with lettuce and cheese. I added guacamole and salsa and it’s fantastic. That was a good taco! I ordered a side of guacamole it was spicy creamy, perfectly seasoned and when I added some to my taco and burrito it kicked the flavor up a notch. I wish I would have ordered a large it was so good. They offer two salsas. The green salsa has a mild kick to it and it’s smooth this one is my favorite. The red salsa is smooth slightly bitter but it has a good flavor and you really taste the spiciness of the chilies. I can’t wait to try those chicken tamales again smothered in green sauce, actually everything on the menu is great over the years I’ve tried almost everything and you can order anything at Lucy’s and not go wrong. And the strawberry shakes are good too nice and thick. Lucy’s it’s what’s for breakfast lunch and dinner.
