Awesome service, even the manager was quick to serve. I always get friendly staff here so I don’t get the negative ratings. It’s a clean a spacious Denny’s with helpful hustling staff.

This is by far the WORST Denny’s I’ve been to! The service is/was horrible. The server tried to blame the(new) expo for bringing us out our food order wrong but in fact it was the server who put in the wrong order! Then he tried to tell the Mgr that we did not like the food! HELLO!!! How can we like the food when you put in the WRONG order???

Let’s start with LIVID! That word may even be a slight understatement to describe how I felt upon my departure this morning! My cousin and I arrived, and we were seated within the first 2 minutes of arrival. Fine! The restaurant was noticeably a little busy as it is every Sunday morning. Fine! The waiter who ended up being our server was already rushing with other customers he had, and as he passed by, he threw up his hand to gesture to us that he’d be right back. When he did come, he never introduced himself(JOSE), asked if we were ready to order(not take our drink order and give us time to look at the menu as he should’ve), and then rushed off. I ordered hot tea with lemons and water. He brought our drinks right back, but never brought me honey for the tea. Then after he took the food order, he disappeared until it was time to bring the food out. I had to ask another server for honey, which he informed me was supposed to come with my tea initially, as he asked me who our server was. When I told him, he just shook his head.(eyebrows now raised) After waiting for what seemed like 20 – 30 minutes, Jose brought the food out. My cousin’s food was fine, but my food(country-fried steak skillet) was unappealing. It was evident that the cooks just took the country-fried steak straight out of the grease and put it on the plate. They didn’t let any of it drain. My eggs were supposed to be scrambled with cheese, but they weren’t, and it actually looked like it was kinda just thrown together(the skillet)!! I asked for brown gravy on the side, but because of the extra greasy steak and cheese-less eggs, I sent the food back, while the gravy sat on the table getting cold. In all of this time, obviously I had drank my tea and my cousin drank her smoothie. She asked for another, and they tell her there are no refills. I informed them that we didn’t ask for a refill, but for another(which never came). I asked for a refill on my hot tea, and they brought out water only!!!(WTH was I supposed to make with that?) By the time my food finally does come back, my appetite is gone! I had to ask for a steak knife and napkins, and after about 5 minutes, a to-go box because I was SOINDESCRIBABLYUPSET over the lack of professionalism, customer service and care shown!!! JOSETHENPROCEEDSTOTELLMETHATHE’S BEENWORKINGTHEREFOR22YEARS, ANDIT’S NOTHISFAULTTHAT I’M PISSEDOFF…(IF I DIDN’T HAVE A HEART, HIS A** WOULDHAVEBEENTORNAPART) If I could give them a –5, I would, because they deserve it. Then when I go to voice my issues with the manager, she patiently listens and redirects me to the owner. After I start telling him about my experience, he tries to cut me off about 3 times, and then tells me he will give 50% off. I told him it wasn’t about money at all. It was about CUSTOMERSERVICE!!! The food is the usual Denny’s food. Good portions and tasted pretty good. The restaurant area is clean and the staff is really friendly. My only concern is the restroom! This place is in need of major remodel! I was afraid to touch anything it looked so grimy. One of the sinks were functional and only the cold water worked. The toilet was cemented into the ground crooked. Using the restroom here was just a terrible. I advice you use the bathroom before you come and don’t drink too much during your meal.

Good customer service, everyone is very nice. Food is good but needs a clean up… Things are sticky, it smells like old dirty carpet… Or else I would have given it 5 stars…

Okay just so you’ll know I did not give this place ANYSTARS!!! There was a fried ROACH in my niece’s hash browns and I swear on my mothers grave I will NEVEREVER step foot in that roach motel again. You’ve been warned. Oh and it’s NOT because we were in Watts that I’m writing this. My grandson’s mother live there and because that type of stuff don’t bother us we just decided to eat by her house but it can’t and will not happen again! Zero Stars!!!

It’s been a while since I visited this location but today it smelled so bad when I walked through the door. It smelled as if the boys locker room had been leaking sewage and raw ass. Excuse me. The hostess told me the wait woukd be 25 to 30 min long. And I was stunned. They actually called us within 5 minutes. As soon as we sat down next to the rest rooms the smell was much stronger. While looking thru the menu a roach was crawling in the window in my booth. At that point I was done. Do not eat here EVER

Went here today after checking out the Watts Towers nearby. I was excited for the club sandwich that I love, but got a burnt sandwich that I could hardly bite into and undercooked French fries. The waiter asked if everything was okay and right when I was ready to say«well actually…,» he said«ok great,» and rushed away. There went my attempt to complain and since I was too embarrassed to make another attempt I just ate what I could of the sandwich. I wouldn’t go back. Plus the employees didn’t seem to get along and that made me feel uncomfortable since the get-go.

Note: the map shows that it’s located on Florence but it’s not. Plug in the address that it says on Wilmington. I followed my map today:( Once I found the location I was so excited to try the seasonal pumpkin pancakes they offer. It comes with Eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns and your pumpkin pancakes. My whole meal was really good:) they put this pumpkin whip cream on top with cinnamon that tastes so divine! The pumpkin taste isn’t too over powering, it’s just the right amount of flavoring. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. Besides the bad directions and sketchy location I was happy:)

This one of my favorite places to bring the family for a great meal, I’m the type of people that would drive the extra mile for a good service and tasty meal, gladly this place is close to my house, service in this establishment has always been good, the waiting period to be seated is always short, I would always recommend this place to family and friends.

I haven’t been here in a while. A lot of new employees now no one I recognized. Good customer service, got our food and coffee refills fairly quickly considering it was full(everyone just got their welfare/SSI checks) Bathrooms could use some cleaning it smells like a port-a-pottie

Awesome To go experience! Good food, good service, and good prices. Everything was exactly as ordered, couldn’t ask for anything more. Just left this place about an hour ago. Ordered 2 skillets, a breakfast ultimate skillet with over medium eggs, eggs were perfect and when I broke them apart the yolk was perfect n runny, veggies were really tasty. Perfect. My boyfriend got a Parmesan chicken skillet, he said its 4 out of 5′ he seemed to really like it. We also got shakes, they were good too strawberry n my boyfriend got cinnamon apple, sounds weird, he likeded it, I thought it was interesting but I couldn’t drink too much of it. Guy at counter was really nice, was pretty busy in there. Will definitely be back soon and often!

Great costumer services as soon as you walk in you get greeted and get seated. I loved that our server gets on it by asking you for anything to drink and checks up on you wile wait fir your food. Over great costumer service. And my chicken quesadilla was delicious. I will be coming again :0)

The food was good and hot. The only bad thing here was the service! They took a while to come and get our order. Then my hubby got a dirty glass with his drink. When I was giving my order to the waiter Manny, gave me attitude! Now that ruined my lunch! Then he over charged us! I understand that Manny can’t be happy all the time but don’t take it out on your customers. He’s lucky he still got a tip!

Ok, I know what you are thinking«5 stars?! This is only a Denny’s Shan!». But I have to give it to them and it’s hard for me to give up that many stars. Came here Saturday with the kids. It was a very busy morning for them. But we were seated immediately. As I sat with my menu closed, I waited for a server to offer us water and take our order… but after a few minutes nobody stopped at our table. Finally I flagged down a waiter and he told the other waiter«hey those two tables over there are yours» and he came over right away. After apologizing, he(Rudy) then gave us great service. With such great attention I was able to forgive him and plus it was very busy that morning. The food was served hot and our glasses stayed full with constant refills. Rudy even gave me a Styrofoam cup of coffee to go. I usually avoid Denny’s, but when ever I get a craving for them I will be coming back to this one! PS-don’t be afraid that it is near MLK Hospital and in Central LA. Most of the people around here are normal hard working people taking care of their famalies. No need to pack a tazer gun.

3 stars for being located to Killer King. Service was good, it wasn’t too loud like other places get with millions of annoying ass kids everywhere. The menu at Denny’s honestly is never too appealing to me, not sure why. There really isn’t anything great about this Denny’s. I had a problem with it’s location(apart from being earshot to Killer King) once you enter the plaza, you have to weave/maneuver your ass all the way to the corner, driving through traffic and people just to get here, couldn’t they have made an entrance closer to this place?
