Old school since 1967. They are supposed open at 11am, you can’t tell because of the dark security door. This place is smack straight up in da ‘hood you would never know its there unless you turn that corner in a residential neighborhood. The employees have to get their act together because we arrived after 11am and they stated they are running late and won’t be ready until 12noon. Hello it’s 11am not 6am in the morning, get crackin’ because customers were waiting. The lunch specials for $ 5 are one hell of a deal, lots of good food for little money. Be patient and if you can call the day before and place your order so they can get it together by the next day, seriously. For being in the hood and having a following by what it seems loyal customers they have to set things right and be ready to serve the customers quickly and not be slacking.

Working in area and coworker ordered lunch from this place. Not closed. Really good lunch specials for $ 5. I had spaghetti with wings. Spaghetti was good, wanted some more. fried chicken was good. Good portions.
