I wanted to try their raspados, a medium one for $ 2.50 is pretty cheap… but I was not happy with it.
Next time I will drive to Raspados Don Manuel with the ladies with attitude for a raspado instead… those ladies load the raspados with nuts & their sweeteners are simply better.
The menu for Tacos Q is long… nothing special with what they offer. I think the place is average.

Clean with an A rating. Food is authentic and excellent tasting. Sauce is very spicy and tasty. But, all plates are sure pricey. $ 25 for Lunch for my son and me. Won’t be back as I am on fixed income.

We drove here from the South Bay for a bionico. I have been coming here for a couple of years now. This is a hole in the wall mom and pop shop. The bionicos are usually pretty good and the fruit is always fresh. Today, they do not have any strawberries, because the rise in cost in the past couple of weeks. This is why I gave it 3 stars, otherwise, they would get a 5. The food is average. A small bionico is $ 5.75.

I big time recommend this to everybody… come get YOU’RE raspados and bionicos!!! And the hospitality is great… and that’s why I would recommend this and I will be back.

I have tried the fries (nacho style) with carne asada, sour cream and guacamole. They taste amazing-​like nothing I have ever tried before. The only complaint I have is the price because this order is about $ 7. Once in a while, though, it is a good treat!!!

I only had tacos, but DAMN they were so good! I need to venture down here more often there is nothing this authentic in Santa Monica! I had lengua and carne asada tacos, and the meat was so tender, the hot sauce was amazing, and the tortillas were good as well. 100% recommendable for tacos, and the other stuff looks AMAZING (tantalizing pictures on the wall of their other food items).

Tortas are delicious!
Not an elegant place, but the food is very good & authentic.
Since i ate here they served my torta on a plastic plate, which is much nicer than on disposable plates. The prices are very reasonable for what you get.

First off. if your coming here and order the same old boring stuf such as tacos and burritos well i mean realy? wth do u expect then? with that said if you come here wat i recomend and believe me wen i say this, they have the best «carne asada nachos» in Cali. also order the «torta Argentina“those 2 items make me drive from 45 min away to come and eat here at least 3 times a month. They are just that great! so if your thinking about coming to this place i say order those things and you will become a regular at this place but if your planing on geting Tacos and burritos? Then dont even bother, go to the nearest corner to buy those, dont come and expect magic and complain wen you dont get it.

If u want REAL mexican food this is the place to go. This is not a taco torta kinda place. More like visitin grama in mexico and enjoyin some home cooked meals.
There guaraches are delicious there pambazos are super good but u cant leave without having sum carne asada nachos (yeah yeah yeah i know i said authentic food but there just amazin)
You really need to know real authentic mexican food to go here. Tacos tortas and burritos should not be conaidered.

My first time at this place I heard a bang then a loud screeching, scraping sound then a crash as the ladder that had came off of someone’s truck skid into the gutter next to this restaurant. It was pretty cool. Too bad the food here isn’t as cool.
Decent but not outstanding tacos.
Not especially friendly service.
They were missing several of the fruit that they claimed to have available for liquados.
And the TV came over on the Mayflower.
I love the crispy little bits in the tacos but it just wasn’t enough to overcome all the other issues.
I wasted my 400th review on this place!!! Oh geez.
