Good spot if you have a big appetite and craving a sandwich. These sandwiches are pretty big, big enough to split if you’re not a gluttonous focker! They have a deli so you have a big selection of meats(ie turkey, pastrami, etc.) and cheeses(ie. American, Provolone, etc.). They use fresh ingredients and they have a decent selection of bread. I highly recommend the fresh soft roll. Staff is always friendly and they keep the place very clean. Price of the sandwiches are $ 8 – 12, which is reasonable considering the size of these sandwiches. And there’s plenty of parking in their lot and on the street.

Great spot for a quick and filling lunch! I only had a sandwich(which was huge) and a drink here, but surely next time I come, I’ll try out the other delicious looking Italian food!

Their food has never disappointed. Love the lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread, etc. big portions and great taste. I always take the food home but don’t let the establishment itself intimidate you.

Out and about, this looked good on Unilocal so mother-in-law and I stopped in for lunch. The Mexican tuna salad is sooooooooooo great, and I am not a fan of heat so don’t let that dissuade you from trying. The small sandwich with a side and drink was too much for us. Next time I’ll skip the salad and eat all of my sandwich. They neatly wrapped up our left overs and labeled them. Salads taste like they are brought in and not made in house, nothing special. Fast service and clean inside. Very friendly staff.

I dropped by this morning about 11:20 in the morning. There was only one employee in sight, and he was on the phone. He didn’t seem the least bit interested in serving me, I was standing right in front of him. I can understand if he was busy taking a phone order, but it was so stifling hot in there that I changed my mind and walked out without ordering. I had planed to try a hot submarine, a steak or pastrami sandwich. But the owner never paid the slightest attention to me, all he had to do was look me in the eyes and I would have been satisfied, and prepared to wait.

It was lunch time and I was in the area. There isn’t much in the area Especially if you want something heathy. I stopped by Tony’s subs and got a turkey and ham sub and a side of potato salad. The people who work there are very nice people. The tables were all dirty, so I was about to clean it and they came and said No way, we will clean it for you. They wiped down the table. I got My potato salad and my sandwich fairly quick. The sandwich is really good, you can tell the ingredients are fresh, I believe even the bread is made fresh. Potato salad was really good too! The only thing that I wasn’t crazy about was that the bread was a little too um… Bready lol. It was too thick of bread for what was inside the sandwich. Otherwise everything was great! Nice people, good food, made quick, and fresh ingredients. Not sure what else to ask for… Try it some time!

Love this place so much. Me and my family have ordered subs here. Very good. We love their vinegar veggies that they give with their party trays.

This place is really good! The guys who manages this place is the nicest most friendliest person. He helps you customize your order and tells you what would be best price wise. The pastrami is delicious! Must try!

Bread is fresh and crunch outside soft inside. Meat is nicely sliced and the ingredients are scrumptious. This is no subway sandwich ladies and gents. This is a great sandwich gem. I have been living in this area for a long time and never went in. I am regretting that now. Will definitely be returning to this shop.

My daughter and I stopped here after she finished an exam at CSULA. I had looked it up on Unilocal. It had good reviews. The place was empty on a Saturday around 12 noon. Not a good sign! The owner who took our order was very gracious and eager to please! Great start! I ordered a turkey salad, my daughter a cold cut salad. We had the mango lemonade, yum! The salads had a ton of meat piled on top! He brought us 4 pieces of garlic bread that was buttery and garlicky!!! Bomb! Wished we lived closer to this place. I would be here every week. The menu is enticing, good variety!

Some folks have said its not a «life changer», well, what sandwich is? You have major problems if a sandwich is the kick in the pants you need to make changes in your life. I mean, what kind of loser walks into a strip mall sandwich shop expecting a paradigm shift anyway? That is way too much responsibility for any sandwich to handle. If such a sandwich exists, I really want to eat it. As far as sub sammiches go, this one is a winner!

I got the Italian sub sandwich and it was pretty tasty! I asked for the bread in the middle to be left out. I prefer my sandwiches to be less bread and more meat and veggies. Their sides are pretty tasty as well:)

I ordered the hot pastrami(traditional) for $ 8 and some change. Not the best, not the worst, but average(maybe even somewhat below that). Slightly skimpy on the meat. In my opinion, for the same price, you are waaaay better off going to Eastside Market and having a really delicious, quality, non-microwaved roasted pastrami sandwich, with loads of meat.

Love, love, love the deli taste to these sandwiches. The bread is fresh. Slightly hard on the outside but super soft to bite. Our favorites are the Tony’s Special and the warm Roast Beef. They offer two sizes, small and large but the small is not small at all. For a $ 1.00 you can get a large and save it for a little snack.
