Cold (ish) food, gross Sicilian pizza… Almost $ 17 for 2 slices and a breadstick.
Nope!

While on campus for training,(3/24/2015) I decided to try this place with fellow classmates. I chose the stromboli and pasta. The prices are a little high but the service was good.

Cold pepperoni pizza? Seriously?! The food trucks outside would’ve served me warmer food!
I understand that 99% of your clientele at this location are poor college students, but the rest of us shouldn’t have to deal with your low standards of offering «quality» food. Such a disappointment.

Food is over priced like usual. I don’t care but i didn’t know i ordered a side of attitude with my lasagna. I asked do i get a drink and she said «oh u didnt ask» and then when I asked for my extra bread «i said i was going to get it for u already «im sorry i couldn’t hear u. Geeesh if you don’t like your job dont give me attitude for it i didnt do nothing to you i suggest the manager give her training on customer service because thats not right. Btw host name is Jessica.

The pizza here is great. The service the past two times has been amazing. There’s always a big line here and from what I hear from a lot of students they really like this place. My girlfriend and her brother, who attends CSULA, have liked this place. I definitely choose to eat at this place over the other foodie places in the court yard.

Great if you feel like a quick bite to eat!

Overpriced. It’s sad to say that this is however one of the better eateries at CSULA.

It’s okay, but overpriced for what it is. Makes me wonder how long the pizza actually sits underneath their heat lamps, since they always need to reheat the slice you decide you want.

Fast. Cheap. Convenient. Why not?

Until that fateful day, about 2 weeks ago.
It was a dark and stormy night. Oops, wrong storyline. :)
Emails were flying fast and furious as the date of our impending meeting drew near. Lunch meeting. Sack Lunch, Sbarro. Pizza Deal $ 10. Wait a minute! Roll that tape back, one more time! Sbarro’s pizza, a whole one for $ 10? What’s up?
I guess, this location was having a promo for the beginning of the quarter! Woohoo! It’s about 3 – 4 bux for a slice. Where can I go wrong for a whole one for $ 10. So, I responded at the last minute possible, ordered the thin mushroom.
Meeting time, a call comes in, they are a little delayed since the order went in late! Well, the pizza comes in and the pizza looks pretty good, but you know, that’s happened before. It’s the taste test that really matters! Woohoo, I wasn’t disappointed! It was not like the other Sbarro’s I’ve had in the past. Pretty good thin crust pizza, NOT Greasy, but not too dry either!
So, I’m a fan! For Sbarro’s whole pizza one topping for ten bux! That blows away the chain competition.
This one is located on the campus side of the Student Union on the campus of California State University, Los Angeles. Affectionately known to many as just Cal State. :)
NEWS FLASH _​Price Update
I went by today and asked about their ten dollar special. It is NO LONGER offered all day!
However, it is available just in time for dinner! This Promo is now run from 5pm — 7pm. Please note 7PM is when they close! They seem to close promptly at 7PM Exactly!
Parking– No problem if you are a student and you have either permit parking or meter short/​long term parking in the Lot F (Big lot/​Permit), Luckman Parking structure (Permit Parking– Lower levels, Meter parking part of Top level)
If you aren’t a student or affiliated with the University, all is not lost! There are Short term meters by the Front entrance of the Student Union, also some short term meters by the Union Loading bay.
So, you can still call ahead and pick one up!
A ten buck special? Sounds good!

Definitely the best option at Cal State LA. The nicest employees, fastest service, and best food. Really like their spinach and cheese stromboli with steamed vegetables. Yes, I know it’s still lots of carbs and fat, but I don’t feel gross all day the way I do if I have something less ‘balanced’ like a burger or really greasy Chinese food.
