Found this little hole in the wall and very glad we stopped by bc of the reviews. Very local and authentic delicious food. The outside looks almost closed down and behind bars tho that’s just the area! There’s no menu and the plate lunch choices were beef, chicken or OC tail. It’s stewed meat, very tender and good flavor served with rice, beans, potato salad and plantains.

Once in awhile you come across a hidden Gem, a throwback to somebodys mothers kitchen. this was my first taste of Belizean food and man this place did not let me down. I had the stewed chicken with beans and rice, and we also ordered a side of Ox tail and side of stewed beef. This may be the best stewed beef I have ever had! Definitely going back to try something new.

This is not a tourist destination, but this is a no frills make yourself at home because you’ll be glad you did experience if you have the time to roll with the punches. Homemade hot relish, traditional Caribbean dishes and don’t forget to grab a scoop of rice or bread pudding desert to go. It ain’t fancy and it ain’t even that customer service friendly, but it’s damn good. High maintenance diners, just get it to go.
