Tam’s Burgers California

My review will be straight to the point. The burger and fries were good! What I wasn’t so happy with is the customer service. The guy who took it order gave me a bit of attitude. He wasn’t rude but he could of been nicer. I liked the food and if I would of had better service I would of gave them 4 to 5 stars.

Tam’s Burgers has been around for years. Growing up, my parents owned a store nearby this location, and I would always walk over and pick up a steak sandwich. Years later, I found myself reunited again with this restaurant, and I couldn’t be happier. To start off, the locale is in great condition. It seems like it was recently renovated and has a new fresh face. The walls are decorated, there’s a television and the booths that once had rips and tears, are now looking brand new! The overall physical condition of the restaurant is very tidy and clean. I felt very comfortable eating there, without feeling that I would find some kind of critter on the floor.
Now to the most important part, the food! The food was just as great as I remembered. They have kept their authenticity throughout the years, and I couldn’t be happier. I ordered a steak sandwich. The bread was toasted, and the steak was sliced thin, it wasn’t tough, and didnt have any fat on it. It was perfectly seasoned and put together with mayonnaise, lettuce and tomatoes. It comes with an order of thick-​cut french fries, which I’m usually not a fan off, but with their unique seasoning, those fries were absolutely delicious! The order says that it comes with a «small» side of fries, but the portions are huge. T
he only downfall, would be the pricing. For two steak sandwiches and a small order of fries, it came out to $ 17.00, but the portions are more than reasonable and the overall quality of the food is great. This is a great place to pass by with friends and family when you want a quick bite to eat. Their menu is huge, offering many selections from breakfast to dinner, satisfying any type of eater. Lastly, their customer service was great as well! The guy who took my order was very helpful, patient and their service was quick.

Came here to pick up food for the family today. Got two family packs and a colossal burger which has a burger patty plus pastrami. The family pack consist of 4 burgers that have lettuce tomato pickles and onion with a thousand island sauce, no cheese!!! It also includes fries for each burger and a drink of your choice. Two choices of dressing on the side for your meal .25 cents extra. Only thousand island or ranch. The pastrami in that colossal burger was very chewy. Didn’t finish it, wasn’t digging it. Guys working there had good customer service though! Since it’s so close to home I will come back to try something else. Their menu is pretty big.

I find it cool how they made an effort for this place to be a family restaurant. I saw families sitting together I was doubtful at first but they actually had a good steak dinner and though I didn’t get it the fried chicken plate that one customer had looked pretty tasty.
The one problem I had was the patty melt’s meat was a bit small for me, but I have to blame myself or that, I should have just got a burger. My friend’s burger was a decent size.
