You walk in and its a clean, good looking shop. I came here because of craigslist ad, however I was blown away with the quality of their work considering their location and price point. For a shoulder to shoulder upper back piece with text and color it cost me a grand total of $ 140 including treatment cream, nearly $ 300 less than a smaller version of the design I showed another artist at American Electric. The artist C and Spyder seem to do their work here because they love the art. It isn’t their primary source of income from what I can see, so the pressure to overprice a new customer doesn’t exist. Spyder, who did my tattoo, finished it in two one hour sessions. He was so knowledgeable that he spotted I was diabetic by the way my skin and circulation were reacting to the needle and suggested splitting the session in two. Now, my tattoo had a missing part I forgot to incorporate into the stencil(I had coordinates and forgot a degree sign) and so I called them up and he immediately fixed it, even though it wasn’t a part of the original design, free of charge. About 8 months after I got the tattoo finished, I had a bad burn on a small portion of the tat that made it fade. C, the other artist, redid THAT free of charge, even though it wasn’t his design. Another note: all of their kanji stencils are written correctly, but unfortunately some of them have terrible syntax. If you want an inexpensive, good quality tattoo, this is your place. The large designs rarely seem to go over $ 200, and their names and word tattoos are $ 30.
