The Burger Palace

Been coming here for years! I always get the Cheeseburger Special. The fries are the bomb! Also for breakfast I recommend their breakfast burritos. They are huge and pretty good!

I have been coming here since I was 5 years old and I am now 30. I left for 10 years to Vegas and came back and they still have half the people working there and they still remember me. I love this place. The burgers and chili cheese fries are amazing.
Even though it’s a whole in a wall place, that’s what makes it better. You don’t need fancy chairs or fancy tables. Just take the food to go.
I truly recommend this place.

Almost 4 years and still a loyal customer those are the only burgers I eat. The service is always good, I wish they had a TV or something.

PJust pulled in off the 10, fast service, decent prices but no to go menus, frown. ordered the double turkey burger w cheese fries and a drink 10 but KS average not greatest price. Burger was good fries too I will get the single burger next time. Go by for a quick bite

When we moved in the area in 2000 this was the closes place to eat and since the years pass it’s been a great place to eat or call by phone so you can just pick it up and eat from home. The breakfast menu is worth the money and the burger special deal is great meal also!

My local breakfast spot, great food, great service. I’ve been coming here since high school, a good place to eat and it’s in Southside in L.A.

Every weekend I’m here having this amazing breakfast spread, «5 bacon strips, hashbrowns, toast, eggs, grits, carrot juice» they’re amazing here,
The cheeseburger special if you want something that never fails, add bacon though,

This place is bare to say the least with no restroom and a décor that would resemble a jail cafeteria. However the food is not bad. I had the bacon cheeseburger which was tasty. The fries were not bad either. I like how you can watch the traffic go by as you eat. Avoid the corporate fast food joints and try this place.

This place may look like a hole in the wall, but it’s really good! My favorite thing on the I menu is the breakfast burrito. If your not fond of the surroundings I recommend calling and ordering your food to go.
They are really quick and give a good amount if portions. It is decently priced! Most of the time my boyfriend and I split a breakfast burrito.

I go here for their grits for breakfast.
! But I’ve had other food here it’s not my favorite but it’s not bad either. This place is a good business if your a stoner lol

What else can I say, it is a hood burger spot. Next time I’ll got for a burger.

Food is just ok. Value is better. But service really sucks unless you’re a Latino who could speak Spanish! If a customer orders to go, it usually means they’re in a hurry and cannot afford to sit down and eat at the restaurant. Why on earth would you serve the people eating there first than the person who oredered to go even after the fact that that he ordered first!!!
After waiting more than 10 minutes, I asked the guy who took my order and money why it’s taking so long. He never bothered giving me an answer. After 15 minutes, I got my order. He never even apologized for the delay.
I’ll start to look for other alternatives. I hate bad service!!!

Food is good for what you pay, yet I feel I got ripped off. They have banners on windows stating prices and what food. I specifically told the guy I wanted their 3 hamburger special ($ 5.05) yet it all came out to $ 19.00 Dollars I asked why so much and he gave me a different special which was a bit more. Whatever! Didn’t want to argue and have my food «dropped», so just paid. They give you a lot of fries which is great. Burger is good. Wouldn’t come back. I’d go somewhere else.

Here’s a place you’ll want to skip when you’re in south LA. The stench of grease cannot be removed!
I have never before experienced their style of taco – first, the bag was dripping grease, and the individual tacos were wrapped in aluminum foil (soaking with grease), the shells were gross and (guess what) greasy, meat was OK, then a mountain of lettuce (I’m talking about too much lettuce for one person to eat in one sitting came with each taco), lots of mushy tomatoes, and some terrible Velveeta cheese mixed in with that mess. If I hadn’t already washed my hands three times I would dig into the bag and post a picture of that mess. Just believe me, keep on walking if you’re in this part of the city. Maybe there’s somewhere I can get lunch on Western.
I will say that the Burger Palace earned that one star with delicious, ice cold Coca-​Cola (on days I remember to bring cash).
