Stop going here. Slow service and hard to communicate with employees. Don’t bother making a phone order it’s the same as ordering in person. Don’t forget to have 911 on speed dial because the area is very sketchy. Doesn’t help they have no drive thru. Maybe… maybe then I would go once in a while.

This place is a hidden treasure! Don’t let the «looks» of the place fool you! The burgers and fries are amazing! The onion rings are delicious too! We’re definitely going back!

Big portions, cheap prices. Awesome fries. Burritos are average. Yes this place looks sketchy. It’s a burger stand with a front entirely secured with bars. You order through the tiny section of window that isn’t then wait out front with the company of all the um… interesting characters who frequent this greasy spoon. But this is a grab it and go kind of joint, and the food is good and cheap. So take what you get! Also the menu is expansive. Cash only

So I was looking for somewhere to eat on lunch via Unilocal and it’s user reviews. I don’t agree with the four stars so far… Because this spot is a five!!! If you want to taste a bite in the hood but not your wallet; this spot is the spot. I got a cheeseburger combo for $ 6.55. The burger was a really good size and they give you more than enough fries! The quality of the bread is superb. It was so good. My coworker ordered chili cheese fries. I have to follow up with her to see how she liked it. I’m going to get back to my seasoned fries now! I recommend this hole in the wall burger joint.

Really good burgers compared to other restaurants in the area. Choice is great, burgers size are huge. Service is long but this was my first choice of restaurant if i didn’t have food at home. You should try it !

The food is fine, but the service… I went today for my job. We spent over $ 40.00 there. When we got back and saw an order of fries was missing from one of our combos we tried to call and let them know. The lady was SO RUDE. She hung up in my face saying she put the fries in herself. Why would we spend over $ 40 and lie about not getting fries. I called back and spoke to the guy there. The lady was still in the background talking mess. My job used to go there once a week. We won’t anymore. Bad service does NOT deserve my money. I work too hard!

They have the best burgers here, hands down! I only live a couple streets down so I’m very lucky. The burger here looks super hand made and the avocado looks so fresh! I love this place, they take a little long to have your food ready but that’s because they have a lot of customers everyday so make sure to order in advance.

Its called best burger for a reason I’m not gonna lie the food was delicious its in a real rough neighborhood as we all know but sometimes u can find a gem in the hood in this is definitely it.
The patty was cooked well it was nice and juicy and they pretty much make a burger anyway u want it the only reason it doesn’t have the 5th star from me is because its definitely not a place where u can sit down and eat your meal still my favorite place to grab a burger

This place is just down the block from where i stay and I love the burgers i cant lie its ghetto in every sense of the word and theres crack heads and all types of crazy activity always going down around the area but I wouldn’t mind getting shot for one of these burgers honestly lol
The fries are good the burgers are fat and the price fits its one ghetto fabulous restaurant what can I say? Don’t judge this book by its cover people

One of the best fries i ever had. IDK very weird. Maybe i was hungry and the mix of waiting for 30 minutes for a burger made my brain crave fries. But the mixture of sogginess and crisp worked. More soggy than crisp but man I ate the whole bag, nothing better than a bag full of fries.

On a pure burger perspective, it was delicious. Fat juicy patty with avocado and bacon. Hit the spot. Not bad for a hole in the wall, we just went balls out.
The actual place looks disgusting. Don’t go alone.

It kinda annoys me when people go to OBVIOUS hood places & then come on Unilocal complaining about the «sketchy» neighborhood. But anyway, I tried Best Burger today for the 1st time & it was really good. I ordered a turkey cheeseburger combo & the wait time wasn’t too bad either. I’ll definitely be back.

Okay my boyfriend went AGAIN yesterday (Tuesday) around lunch time and he said it was «crack head central» with a sad array of characters… and they also accept EBT and give a discount if you use it! *lol* He also mentioned it didn’t taste the same as when we went, but I can see it differing if it had a different cook that day since patties are made to order. I’m still «a fan» but wanted to mention since I stated it wasn’t that «hood» but ya, apparently it IS haha…

This place is what you call a «hood classic» its the go to place for one of the BEST burger In Los Angeles! This place has been around for so long and for good reasons. Food is very delightful!!! Burgers taste authentic and that thick cut crispy bacon really sets it off! I would give it 5 stars but I can’t because the customer service is really bad, the young lady that works the window is pushy and a bit rude. You can’t use your ATM card any longer so come with cash or be ready to use the ATM machine in front. Neighborhood is sketchy so be careful!

Ummm interesting! Well definitely BAD AREA but cheap. It’s a greasy spoon joint & big burgers! I’ve tried a few times (got master burger) & severe case of tummy/​restroom issues. The wait is alittle long & alot of addicts/​prostiutes in front.
If you like greasy burgers then enjoy.
BAD: I got a «pineapple» milkshake ($ 4) angry, it took 15 minutes & was ACTUALLY a plain shake with some flavoring.
Well try it & take some tummy trouble pills!
* side nite: I know people with «cast iron» stomachs who swear by it…
