This is a great little historic house that I discovered while checking out the America Tropical Center that’s located upstairs. Somehow I missed seeing the Sepulveda House on my many visits to Olvera Street. You could pass by it and miss it, so keep your eyes open for it. It’s on the left side going towards Chinatown. It’s a great little gem of local history with photos, old objects on display, cool stories about the local past. It’s a nice gateway from the hustle and bustle of Olvera Street. It could be a nice break in the shade while learning bits of LA history. It’s free and it’ll take you about 15 minutes. Great for kids, too. Check it out!
