I love soondae and come here at least once a week. The lady behind the counter is so courteous and even remembers my order. Been eating in this place for such a long time and it never fails me. You like soondae from around koreatown, chances are you are eating their very soondae as they are LA’s main soondae supplier!

Liver and soondae is very dry. I don’t know how this place got 4.5 stars. I didn’t think soondae in the soondae-gook could be so dry. How is that even possible? It’s submerged in broth!

The soondae was pretty dry, pretty disappointed! For a place that specializes in this dish, I expected more.

This«restaurant» is inside a cafeteria. The soon date(blood sausage) was really rubbery and had a funny smell. I didn’t really like it and I usually love soon dae.

I got the small Soon dae which came with 2 side dishes and miso soup for under $ 9 soondae was very good and not dry! I thought they gave generous portion and we just ordered a small. Quick service and craving satisfied! There is garage parking 3 hours of free parking with validation.

A great option for a meal in the K-town Plaza. I ordered the combo which had the bowl of soup, side dishes, rice, and blood sausage plate. It’s plenty of food for one with a large appetite, and plenty to share with amongst 2 people… Good food, and the employees were reasonably nice.

Place is a bit hidden. It is located in the lower level food court in an indoor mall. There is always plenty of seating. I have had multiple dishes. Always fresh and delicious. My favorite dishes that I would recommend are medium soondae plate and pork neck potato stone pot. Servings are big and filling so come hungry! Would recommend others to come here! :)

For food court soondae this is amazing! I just had crap soondae at western soondae, and this was like night and day! Generous portions of delicious sausage with liver that’s not too dry and other intestines… soondae had a good ratio of rice, noodles, and blood, and it wasn’t overly salty… the lady that worked there was nice and recognized us even after we walked around the food court for other goodies. I dunno, like I said, for a random restaurant within a food court plaza, this place gives great soondae for a very decent price. I’ll definitely come again!

So far I’ve only ordered one item each time I visited. I LOVE the stone pot mushroom. I grew up on soul food for comfort food now I’m all about Seoul food. Friendly and quick customer service. My only complaint: We usually dine in the KTP food court but this week we ordered takeout. Our meals weren’t quite the same. And they replaced our usual side items. Gave us pig skin? and octopus. We couldn’t finish our meals because it was a big difference in what they usually served. Our minds and stomachs were not prepared. I wish I knew what the usual sides are called. I’ll commit the names to memory next time. I look forward to dining with them again, not confident about takeout though. Overall, great food and service!!!

downstairs basement food court at korean plaza… indoor attached garage parking free. numerous food stalls and seoul soondae two to the right and back when entering the food court… counter order of soondae $ 10 and paying… check back periodically and pick up food tray when ready…4 basic banchan(sides)…salty brine shrimp container… bowl of rice and clay pot of blood sausage soup with other mystery«meats»…basic bowl of soup with decent flavors… average blood sausages keeping shape… take sausage slice, add top it with salty shrimp and eat… do the same with other«meats»…good convenient soondae gook lunch in koreatown on sunday… when most other soondae restaurants are closed on sundays… not having a choice on a soodae craving sunday…

Located inside Korean town plaza. Three hours free parking with validation on weekdays. The sundae was kinda dry and nothing special. The small was pretty small. no wonder it was $ 6.99. The sundae soup was just ok. I did like their kimchi jun(pancake). I prefer 8th street sundae over this place. and Ohmani.

I really love seoul soondae. Every time i shop at the Koreatown Plaza, i automatically go down to this soondae house. Even though there are many places to eat the soondae in Korea town, i definitely choose here saying it is the best.

The location of this place is super convenient! I was in the Korean Plaza Market for some groceries and decided to walk over to the food court. I’ve been wanting to try this place because I’ve been craving some soondae lately and heard good things about it. It was about $ 6 for a small, $ 11 for a medium and $ 13 for a large. I decided on a medium to go and my order came out super fast in about two minutes. I asked for no intestines so that’s why there are none in my picture but they do come with medium and large options. The soondae was still nice and warm when I got home and it was super delicious! I was really happy with the generous portion and I really didn’t expect the medium option to have so much soondae in it. lol. I can’t even imagine how big the large option would be. I will definitely be coming back to this place because of the huge portions, friendly service and the low price! :)

This place is located in the Koreatown Plaza. I ordered their soon-dae of course. I go the Large size to share with my sister and it was plenty. The soon-dae was perfectly made with no weird smells. It was served with the salt and salted shrimp. I have to say it is one of the good spots in LA. I would have to try their bo-saam next time. The ladies at the counter was also friendly which I appreciate.

I love Seoul Soondae!!! I usually go to the one on Artesia, but when I’m running errands with my mom in K-town then this is our go to place for the Korean delicacy. My mom actually claims this place has better soondae than the one on Artesia, but I disagree. The portions here are really great. One large soondae with all the fixings and one large order of pig feet is enough to feed our family of four easy. This location has fantastic side dishes and the lady running the front is just darling. She always hooks it up nasty with extra sides for me! Love her. It’s located in a food court and a quick tip is to call ahead if you just want to grab some soondae to go. Also, completely unrelated, but if you’re a fan of Samyang Ramen, Plaza Market sells a box of it for the cheapest around at $ 9.99. We always buy a box of it while we’re in the plaza.

FORSOON-DAELOVERS! — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — I’ve been trying to look for good soon-dae in LA. There’s only two place in LA that I recommend and this happen to be one of the place.(the other place would be the soon-dae in cerritos). So what is soon-dae? It is a korean traditional food call blood sausage. Not sure if they use authentic blood or its just a flavor things. You can’t taste the blood or what so ever. Basically just taste like chinese sausage with rice in the middle. Location: located inside the galleria food court. This food court is actually pretty fancy. Food here are authentic!!! If you are around this area and is wondering what to eat feel free to stop by here to check it out! So far it is one of my fav food court place in LA. There are Japanese, Authentic Korean, Curry, Bun/Dumpling house, asian burger and few others. Ordered: Median Combo. The combo can be shared among two people ~ 15 dollars. with one large bowl of rice and few small dishes + a large bowl of soup!!! The soup is not too salty and very flavorful. Hot tea is free at the counter. This combo can be tailored to your taste. If you like the intestine stuff they can sub that in for you with no extra charge. The soon-dae here is cooked perfected, not too hard or too soft. The dipping sauce is also really good as well«salted shrimp sauce, peppered salt and spicy raddish»! Enough said. Go try it if you are a soon-dae love in LA!

Don’t let the food court setting fool you. This place has solidly good food. The woman who usually works behind the counter is really sweet too. She always is very understanding and kind to my aunt, who is a little hard of hearing, whenever we order food here. Their soondae(blood sausage) is the best I’ve had in Koreatown, with a very clean taste that you don’t get sick of. It also has a wide variety of soups and other items on its menu, including, most recently, a very tasty assorted mushroom dolsot bibimbab(mixed rice cooked in a stone pot). There were so many different mushrooms! Best of all, it was enough food for two meals, making it only about $ 5 for a hot, delicious meal. The soups are usually big enough for two meals too, unless you eat like Michael Phelps. Go and have their soondae though. Trust me, if you’re willing to try it, you’ll like it!

I love eating soon-dae here(rice sausage)! There is no funny after taste, the side sauces are great too! Whenever i have the urge for soon-dae, I come here. The price for medium soondae is $ 11. It comes with other side meats(I won’t mention them, just try them, they’re good!) and three different type of dipping sauces(peppered salt, shrimp sauce, and i forgot the other one). Totally recommend it.

I love going to the food court in Koreatown plaza. Definitely better than the korean galleria. But blood sausage(soondae) served here cannot get any better. It reminds me of the way it used to taste like back in korea! Super authentic. Also their soondae is distributed to most of the bars and other restaurants, such as OB bear, in glendale etc… and they don’t skimp out on quality ingredients, so the soondae isn’t like a big lump of fat like in other restaurants. Plus, the owner of the store is really nice and gives out really tasty banchan. Serving portions are really big so I always share with a friend. Definitely a place worthwhile to visit while you’re here if you really want to taste REAL korean food.
