Nooo… I wanted to try this place out since I was craving a authentic bowl of Phở the other day. Don’t go here, the place is closed. I found out the hard way :(

Part of why I love LA is the hidden gems to be found in almost every strip mall. This cute hole in the wall establishment has fab food at the lowest prices you see in LA. I got the beef phở and it was huge and delicious. Everything tasted fresh and clean.

This little Vietnamese place hiding is a strip mall on York is a hidden gem. My boyfriend and I were in the area and we decided to pop on for lunch. It’s very small with about 6 tables and one waitress. It doesn’t look like much but it’s not the kind of place you go to, to be seen. But if you want good, authentic Vietnamese food, try this place out. My boyfriend got the pork Bahn mi. He said it was perfect in every way. I got the tofu egg rolls with noodles and veggies(it was too hot for phở). That was crsip, fresh, yummy! They had all the sauces at each table as well: housemate chili sauce, siracha, hoison, and soy sauce. The price was super great as well! I paid $ 20 for two meals and 2 drinks. Good food at a good price, you can’t beat it.

I wish there were negative stars to give. There was what it seemed to be a small fly or bug whatever it was it should not have been in my soup. I showed it to her and she said that it must of fallen from the light and she said«well do you wanna keep it or have a new one. They made me a new soup and I asked for it on a Togo cup to avoid the fly«falling into it again» and she brought me the check and charged me for everything, didn’t even give me the damm tea for free. I’ve never experience such rude and unprofessional service in my life. I’m not the kind of person that flips out on these kinds of things but I felt very disrespected. Now that I think about it I should have demanded to not be charged for everything. Never going back again!!!

I’ve tried many phở places so far. But I think this place has the best phở. Their broth is home-made style in a long time consuming process, therefore very clean and without MSG. The owners are a father daughter team and they are super sweet. Thank you for your amazing home style Vietnamese food!

Been here several times. It is kind of a hole in the wall and the service can be slow. But I like this place. The prices are reasonable. Try the # 2 or # 6. Soup is good for a cold

I first ate here last year i got some phở and a bahn mi(beef) sandwhich which was pretty good and i was thinking oh yea ill definitely go back here to eat. I got it to-go and called ahead so i cant really say anything about the service. Ive been craving some bahn mi sandwiches(beef) so i got some here since its close to me. I got there and i was the only customer at the moment. Went to order a bahn mi sandwhich, grilled pork chops over rice and thai iced tea. Took 20 – 25 mins. to get my food! There was one customer after me and they got their food before i did. I’m usually patient and i only complain to my boyfriend when it takes forever lol but damn there was only 2 customers. On to the food, my thai iced tea tasted like half and half and sugar, the pork chop was bland and the container inside with pickled carrots was broken. The last thing which i am the most disappointed about is the bahn mi sandwhich. The bread was stale, there was 4 pieces of beef and it wasnt even the same type of beef they used the last time i ordered it. Last time they used the charboiled beef but this time they just used the thin slices of beef they put in phở. NOTCOOLBRO! I dont know if they changed their cooks or what? But you need to train them again to cook the food right please! I know you get what you pay for but it was good the first time i ate here and today was a let down. Sorry, i dont think im gonna be coming back :(

My first time there and the man that takes you’re order was more than helpful. Food was great. We can’t wait to go back and make our way through their menu

The worst Vietnamese food I’ve EVER had! Spring rolls were bleh… only took a couple of bites of one. Chow mein was horrible only ate the 4 prices of broccoli they put in it. My bf got the phở and only ate it cause he was starving. We are currently eating chips after this meal cause we are still hungry. My bf just said, these chips taste better than the whole meal. Will not be going back and will not recommend to friends.

Just what I needed. The phở broth was flavorful with lots of noodles. The spring rolls were delicious. The older gentleman taking our orders was so friendly. My new go to spot for phở.

Phở travels well. The people who work here are nice. The broth is fragrant(ginger!) and hits the spot. Solid spot in the hood at a bargain price(when $ 20 plates are moving in down the street). So much food. So much… Only two minutes from my house. Support!

Decent quality for the area but do yourself a favor and call in an order to go and take it home to eat. Inside is run down, cramped. Service needs improvement.

I really can’t help but compare every single phở place I go to, to Phở So 1 in Van Nuys(the best Phở within the LA vicinity). So phở-king good! Okay, you know I had to go there with that one… Anyway, this spot is decent. We just ordered the beef phở. Dude, the bowls they serve here are massive. You won’t be able to eat it all. Trust.

I came with higher expectations due to the good reviews but it was Ok. The service was not good, super slow and there weren’t any ppl there. Not too sure if I’d go back…

Great place, we loved it! The phở tai was really good and the egg rolls were superb. I can’t wait to try something else from the menu. The restaurant is small, so consider take out if you’re on the fence.

For the price you pay, the phở is really good! Glad there’s a new Phở shop in town! Great place if you don’t want to travel all the way to the 626 for your phở fix.

Came here for some hot soup to warm us up on one of the recent cold evenings after doing a ‘phở’ Unilocal search and seeing that Phở 75 was new in the area. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member and given our pick of seats. After perusing the menu I decided on the Beef/Beef Balls combo phở and my boyfriend got the Rare Steak only phở; we split an order of pork dumplings and both got green teas. Everything came out together(would have been nicer to get the dumplings as an appetizer, but we managed) and we dug in. It wasn’t until a bit into the meal that I realized my beef/beef combo also contained tripe and a variety of beefs. Not sure if that was supposed to have been communicated by the menu or if my order was put in wrong but I wasn’t super pleased at the discovery(tripe, yuck.)… I did not say anything to our server as there was more than enough food even picking around the things I didn’t find particularly appetizing. I still left fully sated and the broth, noodles, and veggies were all excellent and of decently good quality. The dumplings were delicious, will definitely get them again. The overall look/feel of the place does leave a bit to be desired with the overhead fluorescents lighting every nook and cranny of not-as-clean-as-you’d-want floor. The booths were a weird vinyl and the tables an antiquated formica. Not the end of the world, but definitely not a place I would bring anyone to impress them. Takeout may be the best course of action moving forward. Parking in the attached lot was not bad for us(around 8:20pm, 40 minutes before closing), but I could see it being a problem if the lot was full as York is usually pretty busy as well.

They’re just starting out, one of the few places I tried out without Unilocaling ahead of time. Broth needs a bit more work. Friendly staff

What??? Phở, in walking distance! YES!!! What did we do to deserve this?! Not only that, but it is really good and with great prices! My daughter is in Phở heaven! We both had the chicken and the hubs had the beef. They were both great and piping hot and the hot green tea, was also nice! Service was fast and super sweet and friendly. Will definitely be regulars here. Welcome to the neighborhood Phở 75!

So happy they opened up a phở place in highland park! There is definitely a lack of Asian food choices here. Super panda does not count as an Asian food option… Anyway, I’ve been here three times already. Solid bowl of phở for $ 6.99. I think the phở is your best bet. Wasn’t too fond of their fried rice but the phở is good. Great addition to highland park! Very happy they are here so I don’t have to drive into Alhambra for noodles. Support this place! Staff is friendly.

I’m in! This is the first good, undiluted, unreinterpreted Vietnamese phở place in the 90042. It’s no-frills and seems to have a lot of to-go orders, but the beef broth is legit and saves me a drive to the 626. The mini-mall parking lot is fairly typical in the area, so if it’s busy, wait a few minutes and someone will move.

So happy there is a real Vietnamese restaurant in Highland Park! Great phở ga(chicken noodle soup) for $ 6.99. Nice staff. Love the hours. The only thing I would avoid is the Thai iced tea, which is extraordinarily sweet(unless you think that you would like super sweet Thai tea). Can’t wait to try more there. Please support this great, new business.

So I’m sitting here, listening to alt fm, 7 nations playing in the background. Am I in a Vietnamese restaurant? Yes! It’s a small place, cobbled together with hints of cute. The food is just ok, but I like the 6.99 price. Not a lot of Phở places in this neck of the wood. Glad one has sprung up. Will come back to explore menu
