Wow ! I ordered Grilled pork sandwich and I love it so much. The boy behind the counter, who recommended and made grilled pork sanwich for me today. The veggie inside sandwich is so fresh and the meat still hot. I will come back soon and try all their sandwiches

I am a Vietnamese sandwich lover and this place is definitely one of my favorites! This place uses the fresh ingredients and great quality meat! I had the grilled pork and my bf got the BBQ pork, we loved both! The meat is so flavorful and juicy and the sauce is perfect! We also got the spinach smoothie, it was refreshing and not too sweet! So glad there’s a good Vietnamese sandwich place near me! The service was good too, the staff was friendly. Definitely gonna be a regular!

This was my first time ever having food at this establishment. I ordered through Unilocal using eat24 for lunch. I ordered a sandwich three smoothies and two orders of pork and two orders of veggie rolls for me and my coworkers. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my order the employee was working on the smoothies so not to have the ice melt. I thought that was thoughtful and I sat down to wait for him to finish. After he was done he brought my food to the counter and reviewed my order. At the very end he said they ran out of rolls. I was shocked because I was not notified in advance that I won’t be picking up the rolls. So essentially my coworkers had nothing to eat. They should have called or informed me once I arrived so I could have ordered something else there or elsewhere. Considering I only have 30 minutes this was no longer an option. Regarding the smoothies, we were not too impressed. And the sandwich was less than standard from ban mi’s I’ve had in the past.

Yummmmmmm! We ordered a watermelon smoothie(in season) and Vietnamese coffee and Wow! Fresh fruit=delicious! We also ordered a grilled pork Bahn Mi and yumm! You can’t go wrong here. The Bahn mi had more than enough Jalapeños– I recommend having with a smoothie so you can withstand the jalapeños. My husband and I shared one Bahn mi and it was a nice light lunch.

First time customers, we ordered a ham sandwich and a veggie sandwich. The bread was several days old, nearly inedible but we powered through. Until I got to the rock hard yet blackened avocado which was so stinky it permeated the entire sandwich. We ordered both sandwiches with mustard and mayo, it was missing. Pickled daikon was dry and tactless. The ham sandwich was ok, but the ingredients seemed old too. We threw out the veggie and tried to split the ham but was afraid the pâté would make us sick if it was old too. Bye.

Really great Vietnamese sandwich spot. They also have the BEST Jasmine milk tea I’ve ever had… very fresh and super aromatic, even better than actual boba spots. Sweet lady behind the counter making your sandwich, smoothie, milk tea fresh from scratch. Support your local small business, this one is worth checking out(better than Lee’s Sandwich!). They also deliver through EAT24. :)

I tried the grilled pork banh mi… I liked everything in it except the pork. The pork was fatty and chewy. The bread and veggies were good. The lychee smoothie was a little on too sweet side, but ok.

My first time trying this place today and I’m pleasantly surprised! I ordered the grilled pork bahn mi sandwich upon the owners recommendation. It tastes a bit different than the other places I’m used to — but it’s very yummy! Will go back for sure for my future bahn mi cravings fix. The inside of the shop is very clean and cute as well. Thank you again and 5 stars!

Not the bahn-mi I’m used to but it was pretty damn good. I got the BBQ Pork and the sandwich was huge. The mayo they added to the sandwhich worked really well with the baguette and pâté, and the fresh jalapenos really added some spice. This is not your traditional bahn-mi, but definitely try it out. I will be back.

Chicken banh mi was very good. Bread was warm crisp and the chicken was rotisserie-like. Veggies could have been pickled more.

I’ve been craving a banh mi for quite some time, but there aren’t any places in this area that offer a banh mi with pâté, so I was excited to find this spot. The customer service was EXCELLENT. The lady behind the counter was very nice and super accommodating. We tried 2 of the sandwiches, BBQ pork & steamed pork, both equally good, and bigger than I expected. The sandwiches both had a a lot of fresh veggies, and the pickling of the vegetables was very nice. I’m very happy to have found this place, and will happily return

Meh. It ok. Not great. Not deplorable. The staff is a bit on the rude and unwanting to help side and the fermented daikon they use makes the place smell terrible. I’ve ordered here more than once, ordered the same pork bahn mi both times and it was different both times. The second time seemed like the meat was really fatty and fake. Got a dessert there that was stale. I do like the fresh jalapeño they use.

This has fast become my new study spot. They serve a totally decent veggie banh mi(have only tried the veggie, but I imagine the meat is good as well) that has a good amount of avocado in it. They have great smoothies using only fresh seasonal fruit — I know this because if you ask for a fruit that’s not in season they won’t have it, Because Seasons. HOWEVER: there’s a new reason for this review. I just had their modestly named«house special.» This is a decadent cornucopia replete with red beans, green beans, coconut milk, coconut jelly, and(yes) seasonal fruits. Mine had kiwi, strawberry, pineapple, and blueberry. It is large. It is heavy. It’s a dessert. It’s a meal. It might be a new way of life — I highly recommend it. Because it’s only sweetened with Actual Fruits it’s not cloyingly sweet. It’s dulcet flavors touch me in a place that seldom gets touched by Fruit Creations but frequently by Actual People. There’s usually only one hard-working person at the counter, who’s sweet and accommodating. It’s a family business, a small one, and a good one. I’ll be coming back.

My favorite place for sandwiches in Eagle Rock! Their Banh Mi are delicious. The baguette is perfectly fresh and crunchy, the meat and ingredients are also extremely tasty. The hot sandwiches, Chicken, BBQ Pork, and Grilled Pork are their specialties, but my personal favorite is the roast beef. The smoothies are also very good, I recommend the Super Detox(strawberry and cilantro — quite refreshing) Prices are so good! They are kind and fast. If you come during lunch, call ahead to avoid waiting and they will have it ready before you arrive. Can’t recommend this place enough.

With a storefront called Yum Me Baguette, you’d hope that it would live up to it’s name — and I’m so glad it did. I moved around the corner almost a year ago and have only been in a handful of times, but each time I go I’m astonished by how little I pay considering the massive size of their Bahn Mi! I swear, one could feed two people — not to mention, they have a huge assortment of Boba, Vietnamese Coffee and my favorite — milk teas. Last time, there was a duck bahn mi special and I was on that like white on rice, and justifiably so — it was so good that I ate the whole thing in under 5 minutes!

They were out of the combo, so I tried the steamed pork sandwich and the chicken sandwich. BF said the chicken had a little too much mayo, but he thought it was better than the pork. Pros: cute spot, large sandwiches, good egg rolls, and the lady behind the counter was super friendly. Cons: not the best sandwiches, a little pricey(but you have to take the size into consideration). Overall: If you’re in the area and craving some bahn-mi, then this might hit the spot.

A Bành mi sandwich spot. Tiny & small located in a mini strip mall. The bread is a crunchy baguette as it should be from the influence of France in their colonial rule of Vietnam in the 1900’s. I have tried their BBQ pork sandwich. it was pretty good. It reminded me of the Chinese BBQ bright reddish pink marinated meat in the sandwich. Their traditional Bành mi was my favorite. The pickled carrots & daikon really made the sandwich. I enjoyed their avocado juice with it. It was fresh & creamy in taste. They use real fruit so expect a wait.

Located at a tiny plaza in Eagle Rock, Yum-me Baguette offers Vietnamese sandwiches as food and smoothies as drinks for supposedly an affordable price. I went here with my boyfriend 6 months ago to try the banh mi sandwiches and we were very disappointed with the outcome. Service was very horrendous from the beginning when we took our order. Apparently, there was only one worker who was doing everything for this place. She was cooking, making smoothies, and being the cashier for everyone. While all of that was happening, we saw at least a couple of people who went inside to get food leave after a few minutes because it took so long to get their order taken. It took us at least 20 minutes to finally have our food and drinks at the table. I ordered the grilled pork sandwich and I wasn’t happy about it. The baguette felt hard and the meat was dry. My boyfriend wasn’t happy about his sandwich either. Overall, there are better banh mi sandwiches elsewhere.

$ 5.55 for delicious sandwiches. FYI, sandwich measures almost 15″. The bread is more baguette like than a Lee’s Sandwiches(or other bahn mi) sandwich but it is good bread. I didn’t eat here– took it home– but it’s clean and nice inside. A brand new feel to it. And they have BOBA, milk tea, and Vietnamese coffee.

Finally I found a Vietnamese sandwich place that is similar to Lee’s but better… and it is local… why didn’t I try this place sooner. Silly me I totally missed out on it. Well better late than never. This place has fulfilled my bahn mi cravings and I am coming back for more. I owe it all to my trusty Unilocal app and Unilocalers… reading the reviews and seeing what everyone recommends is a plus. It is true. The bbq pork and grilled pork are the winners. They are both so tasty and oh so HOT! I love it. The sandwiches are huge that you can split with a friend if you want to share but believe me; you will probably scarf it all down because ITIS that GOOD. Service was friendly. The lady was extremely helpful and greeted me right away. Overall, I will definitely be back to try other items on their menu.
