Not worth it. Chicken kebab dry, beef kebab chewy. Tasteless unless you count the garlic sauce. Pita bread nothing to rave about. Very overrated by these other reviewers. Maybe they just give the bad stuff to take out orders.

Hadn’t been here in a long time. Was very disappointed hummus was not included in my kabob chicken plate(the cashier said they only sold it separate for a few dollars wtf) Garlic sauce was not offered also as in an additional charge. The side pasta salad and corn and bean mix both tasted like the same spices were used and chicken was a bit salty. Miss the good ol days of Café Bravo and ungreedy owners.

Absolutely AMAZING place! Highly recommend it! I got the falafel plate and it was super fresh, came with 3 diff sides and bread for such a reasonable price. Not only is the food bomb but the customer service is impeccable. Enjoy :)

So surprised. Super yummy. Chicken lule is amazing also green spicy hummus rice with lentils and cucumber yogurt. Fit for real foodies not fake hipsters(:

Never very full. Prices are decent. Parking right outside. Food is pretty good for the price and location. I tend to get the lamb and Lule kabobs. Giving the chicken shawarma plate a go today. Sides are also tasty. Good little neighborhood spot.

Consistent, fresh and delicious. I’ve never been disappointed and I get takeout or delivery here a couple times a month. The quality of the food is excellent, definitely worth putting into your regular rotation.

I don’t care what you are doing right this second. Stop doing it and go to Meze! NOW! It was sofa-king good! I don’t even live anywhere near this place and I still plan on going once a week just to try the many menu options. So fah king goooood! Additional Plus: The older dude who speaks 5 words of English is adorable! He made me giggle and he made me a gyro. Win win!

Idk what kind of angel jazzed all over that chicken before they cook it but gaddamn is it delicious. the best lazy Sunday of your life: call in an order for a chicken kebab sandwich w extra garlic sauzzz. Go to meze, park outside and smoke a blunt. Go inside super baked and order another sandwich when you pick up the first one. Eat the first one there. Before the high wears off, the second will be done. Sit back down and eat part of the second one. Then go home and take a nap. When you wAke up feeling like a million bucks, get the rest of the 2nd sammi out of the fridge and eat the whole thing cold. No one will judge you for this.

I’ve come here about 5 or so times after work. I get the same thing every time because it’s just convenient. The vegetarian sandwich is stuffed with chopped veggies and the dolmas, which are these two-inch veggie stuffed egg roll looking things, but are wrapped with grape leaves. The entire sandwich is about 12 inches long. I like to take a couple or three dolmas out of the sandwich because the flavor gets overwhelming for my taste. I wish they offered half a sandwich, because the entire sandwich is way too big to finish in one sitting. All the times I’ve come here the same man has taken my order. He’s about my height(5’5″), hispanic, has an off-and-on-again mustache and a contagious smile. I swear the god he is the most consistently friendly thing I’ve ever met. I recently asked for a side of pita bread and hummus, which isn’t on the menu. It’s $ 5 for a small container of hummus and pita bread alone isn’t a menu option. Anyways he gave me 3 pieces of pita bread and a small container of hummus at no charge. Word to the staff: give this man a raise. While I wouldn’t rank Meze as one of the best fast food Mediterranean spots I’ve been to – I’ve been to plenty for the record – this man’s customer’s service is why I’m giving it a solid 5 stars.

Good as a stand in for fast food– lots of veg and good portions but not something I crave. I actually feel like this place is 2.5 stars because there are certain circumstances when this place kind of works for ya… Pros – friendly service, clean, and the sides are good – hummus, tabbouleh, eggplant, cabbage, tomato Zuke salad, pickled veg. Parking lot and street parking ok. Easy to get in and out and nice ambiance for a fast/casual place. The reason for the two stars— the meat is ok but nothing special. They don’t really grill or roast their meat so you don’t get a crispy texture. And the seasoning is just ok but kind of bland. Chicken is way too lemony, gyro wasn’t crispy and portion was small, and their lule kebab portion was nice but again no charring or roasting on their meat. My advice– stick to salads or sides.

Okay, this is tough because this is a neighborhood spot and I have been here numerous times… but holy crap. I live less than a mile away and it has now taken over 2 hours for my delivery to arrive. Yes I am still waiting… Yes I have called the restaurant, YES I am still hungry. NO my food is still not here. Don’t do delivery… seriously, learn from my mistake. Also, please send hummus, I’m very hungry. UPDATE: They brought the food at 9:30 but forgot my coke. YOUOWEME A COKE.

I came here for dinner and got the chicken breast kabobs(which comes with rice and 2 sides for $ 10). For my sides I got tabbouleh salad and hummus. You get a ton of rice, but not as much meat as I would have expected(I frequently get the chicken kabobs from Zankou). However, the chicken was seasoned amazingly! Such great flavors. The hummus comparatively was very«meh», not much flavor here. In all, food was good and I would come back!

The signage is ok if you’re in the parking lot but if you’re right by their door or glass windows it’s hard to tell if you are at the right place. The staff are friendly and the food was made fresh and hot. Forgot what I ordered but everything tasted fine. I wanted to try something new, so I ordered the yogurt soda drink and it upset my stomach. Not having that again. Parking is bad, they have a small lot and the road is pretty busy to get into the lot.

Meze is a great neighborhood lunch spot. I live close by and will often pick it up if I’m working from home. I’m not a huge fan of their shawarma, as they don’t use one of those AutoDöner rotating spit dealies, but rather they just sautée par-cooked chicken in a pan. But the chicken kabob! Wow! They have an excellent signature spice blend and the chicken is always juicy and perfectly cooked. I’ll often order the kabob a la carte(comes with a pita), and throw in a small side of cabbage or shirazi salad for a well rounded and inexpensive meal. Don’t forget the garlic sauce! It’s as good as Zankou’s!

Really tasty take out Mediterranean. You can dine in too. The Armenian bread is really great for sandwiches. The kabobs are juicy. TRY the Spicy Hummus!!! So good. No fuss, tasty food, just what you want.

This place is good. Nestled in a quaint area in LA that is very hipster. It was authentically delicious and fresh.

I passed by Meze a number of times. I love Mediterranean food, so I bookmarked it. I finally made my way in. LOCATION: In Silverlake. The restaurant is in a small complex. There’s parking available in the complex, if you can find it. Street/metered parking is available and isn’t too hard to come by. The restaurant is very casual, nothing fancy. That’s fine. SERVICE: You seat yourself. The dining style is fast casual. You place your order at the counter, pay and your meal is brought to you when it’s ready. FOOD: I ordered the Veggie Plate and my husband ordered the lamb kabob sandwich. The veggie plate came with hummus, tabbouleh, grape leaves and salad. While it looked pretty standard, it was very tasty and exceeded my expectations. The Lamb Kabob sandwich had plenty of lamb it in(that sounds like a given, but many places give you more bread than anything else) and was very flavorful. OVERALL: The prices were very inexpensive and the food was tasty! This is a perfect take out place for locals in the area.

I had this place bookmarked for a while, so I was excited to pick up some good from here on a super hot day where there was no way I was going to turn on the stove or oven. I ordered the shwarma chicken plate through EAT24, expecting at around 5:30−6 it’d be a little busy. Came in to pick up and it was empty. Seemed kinda silly that I ordered in advance… oops. It smelled so good in the car! Opened up my to-go bag: two warm pitas, a garlic sauce container, chicken, salad, tabouli and hummus. YUM. So stoked. Unfortunately, the chicken rated like it had been cooked earlier and had just been microwaved for my order or they just over cooked it. Either way, what should’ve been the best part of my plate was kind of the low point. Hummus was solid, salad was fine, but the tabouli was also salty, somehow. I ate way more pita than I wanted to to try to off balance the saltiness, but eventually just had to stop eating the chicken and tabouli. Maybe other things are good here? I’d give it another shot, but definitely wouldn’t get the chicken shwarma plate.

I love Meze! They’re probably my favorite middle eastern takeout joint, in the neighborhood. True to their name, they have great side orders(a «meze» is an assortment of small dishes to be shared, in some regions in the middle east.) They have some fun, tasty, contemporary side dishes like the cilantro hummus. It’s not grandma’s cooking, but it’s not trying to be. I often end up here when I want something quick, healthy, and inexpensive. They have great vegetarian options. If you can’t decide, just order the combo of four veggie sides and a salad. Their falafel is tasty and it isn’t too dry. If you’re not riding the veggie train, their kabob sandwiches are A+. That soft, thick Armenian bread might make you swoon, and the garlic sauce is delicious. You can add on spicy peppers or hummus; I usually add both. And it’s a big sandwich! Eat half now, and save the rest for later. They cook everything to order, so your food comes out fresh and hot(or cold.)
