This is a very interesting McDonalds. It is in the heart of Downtown L.A. Right across the street from the Greyhound Bus Station. There are a few homeless people asking for money as you walk up to the door and even in the dining room. It was a pretty busy Friday morning and I just got done with a blood test after fasting all night and I was HUNGRY. It took no time at all to get my order taken and my food order came up very quickly. After I sat down, I realized that I had forgotten salt and pepper. I stood up to go to the counter and I was approached by a nice young lady who was apparently the Dining Room Attendant. She asked what I needed and she went up to the counter and got my S & P for me. She stopped by my table a couple of minutes later to make sure everything was okay again. I realized that her job was to circulate around and assist customers and keep the place clean. The food was very good — for a Sausage McMuffin with egg — but it seemed better than most of the McDonalds I had before and they had a Customer Service person on the floor assisting people. Nice Touch.

Hey, it’s McDonald’s. Do you like their food? Yeah, it’s pretty great. Do you like homeless people hanging out at the drive-through asking for change? No, that’s uncomfortable. That said, it’s probably a big help if you give them whatever change you just got at the window.

What the heck. — incomplete drive-thru menu — horrible speaker quality in combination with difficult to understand employee — slowest fast food service Only pro was that upon finally receiving our food, the order was complete and tasted good.

Dear McD’s Corporate. I’m hopeful you read reviews about your franchises. Why? Because this particular franchise could topple your entire operation. Perhaps that is a bit of hyperbole… but you really do need to be aware of the delinquencies of this store. I’ve worked close to this location for five years. I’ve dealt with the consistent accosting by panhandlers and homeless(This happens almost every visit). I’ve looked past how unkempt the location is kept. Why? Cuz NOTHING beats your Diet Coke. And your fries? Fuggedahboutit! But back to the point. The employees and management at this location are INEPT. I hope their time spent«on the clock» are mere volunteer hours because these people shouldn’t be making more than 1 cent an hour(let alone the $ 15 dollars the City LA will mandate they be paid in a few short years). A week or two ago? The cashier charged me. FORSOMEONEELSE’S order. Better yet? She didn’t know how to refund my card. So she handed me cash. OFCOURSE the amount was Way off. I donated a few bucks to your franchise because time is money and had I waited for her to rectify even further… I would still be there. Which brings me to TODAY. My order? Super simple. A DIET coke and an UNSWEETENED iced tea. Guess what I sipped on back at the office? A REGULAR coke and a SWEETENED iced tea. Holy cannolis. Now I’m thirsty AND insulted. Shame on management for allowing such ineptitude repeatedly. Shame on ME for giving you so many chances. Shame on corporate for allowing phones to ring in one of their restaurants… with nobody picking up.

This is a horrible location the food was stale and the fries seemed old. I don’t think I should grade McDonald’s based on their food but I will say that their service had a lot to do with the two stars. The girl taking my order seemed to look and act like she didn’t want to work there. I asked for a quarter o Or token for the restroom and I was ignored by the employee S well as the manager. After waiting for over 5 minutes to see if someone came out of the restroom an employee went in to the lady’s restroom and then came out and noticed I was still waiting. She was the only one that helped me and opened the door. That was great but the I noticed toilet clogged and piss station overfilled with luggie and pis and it smelled horrible. Never coming back here.

This is one that definitely not a happy place, turns my smile upside down… It’s ridiculous the waiting time, the parking area is dirty and smells like urine, the homeless are harassing you by the order speaker or at the pickup window which is another issue Early in the morning before 5am is a waiting time of 15 plus minutes to get your order, I can see manager and«team members» buzzing around doing not much but gossiping taking sweet time in fixing the café on top of the waiting to obtain it by the time it gets to me my meal is luke warm(so upsetting) Establishment needs to hire energetic people that move around to fix the orders not just their mouths

It a been a while since I wrote a review(all postince too, I think). This McDonald’s effen blows, don’t ever stop here .It’s not the workers fault, it’s not the transients either, I love transients. You could tell corporate and management don’t give a fuck about its patriens. The food is the same everywhere, the problem here is how bad the property management is and the store appears. Maybe I am having a bad day or the broken door to the restroom pissed me off. Maybe it’s the 0 ammount of soap in the restroom. You know what stuff you can catch? It maybe be in a sketchy part of town but is blame on sketchy people or sketchy management? The McDonald’s Corp appears to be fading away, why did I eat here? :(

This place is real small compared to most McDonald’s ive been too. The service is not real pleasant there is one guy who seems to help a lot with explaining any questions u have but everyone else seems just going with the flow… I just missed breakfast and the food should be semi fresh for lunch but the fries taste like they have been re fried the quarter pounder deluxe looks good. and one question… how is it that u order the meal and they give u a large drink with small fries… overall I feel this place should be more for drive thru or take out than eat in… Uptade: the soda machine is not maintained I tried getting some Dr. Pepper and its just water … where is the order in this place???

My coworker and I stopped here to pick up a quick bite. We were starving and excited about our Filet-o-fish meals. When we got back on route and was about to dig in, my pescatarian coworker opened her bag only to find a Quarter Pounder. Being that it was too much hassle to turn around and that I eat meat, I gave her my filet-o-fish. The Quarter Pounder was more disgusting than I remember it to be. The texture and temperature grossed me out, it tasted wrong! Get the orders right! Less than meh!

Where should I start. Time after time I’ve given this location the benefit if the doubt but this is my last trip here. This morning I drive thru for coffee being that I start at 6am, I deff need to wake up! Well the paid went to the 2nd window and they hand me my coffee with the lid semi closed and burned my hand. Ofcourse dropped the whole cup! Did the girl apologized? NO she just grabbed a new cup and handed. Wow! Well since I was on a rush and didnt make too much of the burn drove off but as I’m driving I can feel get the burning sensation on my hand. So I call them ask for a manager. A «Jesus» which was so rude. Also didn’t apologize on behalf of his staff or store. Just said well come in and make complaint. Which I am just because of the way they have handled the situation. I’m not the type to sue but darn it! This is the reason they do get sued!!! Smh! They are incredible.

Walked into this McDonalds because my girlfriend and I were thirsty. We went in for some iced coffee and noticed that the bathroom required tokens to get in… The sign said«ask cashier for free token with purchase» we purchased our two iced coffees and proceeded to ask for two tokens. She asked her manager and said to us in a rude tone that we needed our own quarters… Tf? I know that it’s just a quarter but still, why even have the sign to begin with? Coffee was good tho.

I was on my way to the Greyhound station with plenty of time to kill. The only thing I ate was probably a granola bar… so I walked into McDonald’s which is very convenient to the station because it was across the street and if anything, a block or two to get to the main entrance. I ordered simple items because I just needed something to last me two and a half hours. The chicken sandwich from the dollar menu was pretty good and I should have stopped there. But no, I got medium fries because fries — no questions. Anyway, the fries I received were COLD(some of them were). At first I thought nothing of it. But as I kept eating them, I got random pieces of cold fries x. x I don’t know what I did wrong to deserve this but I was a little more than halfway done. Sure I could have traded in for some hot ones but I was nearly tired of the fries and that sodium count just continued to go up. So either way, I lose. The ketchup also had more of a sour taste than usual which would likely be the vinegar. The place is pretty clean too. Note: one chicken sandwich with small fries is enough for me at ALL Mickie D’s.

This McDonald’s is the worst of all. They are so stingy with their sugar and creamer packets. Well they actually won’t give you any. So they always do it for you, and obviously it’s never taste like I like it. So tired of this McDonald’s. I only go if I need to. Lucky there is a 7 – 11 down the street which I would rather go. Comes out cheaper going to McDonald’s since I there isn’t many homeless there asking for change. Since this McDonald’s seems like it’s their favorite hang out, and maybe I part of the problem since I sometimes give them $$… :/ I would only give 5 Stars to that latina lady with the blondish hair that works graveyard, such a sweet lady!

2014 Unilocal365CHALLENGE — 187⁄365 I come here mostly 3 – 4 times a week in the morning to get an iced coffee and they are usually pretty friendly. There is always someone working outside near the drive thru to expedite the process and it definitely helps. The Hispanic woman who gives the food in the mornings is very sweet. She recognizes me now and always asks how i’m doing. Overall, quick and good service here.

So I have been deYelping for a bit. Now that I am back for a bit I will take care of some more turkeys. Bums galore at this McD’s, bigtime… Sadly, this is kind of a go to McD’s for me when I am broke and am driving to Downey through the DTLA area. I would give them a three regardless of the bums but I have a horror story for this place. One time, they ran out of choc chip cookies and told me they would have some ready in just three minutes — it took nearly 10! Don’t lie to me!!! Do you really think I won’t notice the difference between three and ten minutes? UGH!!!
