Normally when I eat at places that offer a myriad of food items the value is in the quantity not the quality. Driving through this higher end fast food joint has skewed my perspective. The boys here know what they are doing and leave you as full as their prices. There is nothing left to be desired — even the awesome customer service didn’t remind me that it was close to 1am when I committed this glorious sin of satisfaction.

Terrible customer service. The employees always have an attitude. Today an employee helped the two men behind me before asking me what I was waiting for. She then rolled her eyes when I asked her about my order.

Everything was soggy after a 3 min drive a block away. Always a bad experience w food. Would’ve been better off at mc Donald’s spending a 1⁄3 of what I did

I usually dont write reviews but when i do i try to be as honest as possible food here is great wont lie about that, but when it comes to costumer service in the other hand they need help, out 6 female cashiers only 1 has AMAZINGCOSTUMERSERVICE i cannot recall her name but shes african american with braces so polite and attentive willing help the costumers theres another small chubby latina i believe noemi has the worst costumer service, seems like she gets annoyed when costumers ask her boxes to go and wont even welcome costumers when they approach the register to order she needs to be more attentive, wish everyone can be like the african american server with braces she had AMAZING costumer service.

I worked 2 minutes away from that place so I normally call my order in to just go pick it up. I do understand they get busy but management also needs to understand that when there is an issue they need to address it. In this case have a second phone line available to take orders. Food quality is good .I like their southwest salad with Italian dressing

We were on our way back from Hollywood and going thru downtown LA on the 101 was a mess… decided to get off the FWY and have lunch. We’ve been to the fashion district and know of the Farmer Boys on Alameda street. That is where we went and found a parking spot in the back area which made me kind of nervous. Yeah, I have some tools that may be worth a couple bucks. Many of the less fortunate are present as we walked into the restaurant. A minor wait and then got helped at the counter by Rosa. She explained the«combo» choices and took our order. The name Bell Ringer for a hamburger struck me so that is what I ordered. My lovely partner ordered the Cheeseburger combo. We did the 2 onion rings and 2 zucchini combo and I added a side of french fries. Both of us had the Pink Lemonade. Our number was 39, and it took almost that long in minutes to get our food. They do post that food is freshly prepared after the order, so it will take a few extra minutes. We do like that they have table service and a young lady found our number and brought our food and asked if all was ok and if we needed any thing else. That was to make up for the long wait and got a star back. Our burgers were fine, fresh lettuce and tomato with slivers of onions and burger patties that tasted like charbroiled with melted cheese oozing on the sides… yes take a quick bite of that! The thinly breaded onion ring was greasy, so dip it deeply in the ranch dressing. The French fries were ok, we like them a bit more crispy. At Farmer Boys I always save the best for last. That zucchini with the thin crust is awesome. Just be careful because the insides retains the heat and will burn the roof of your mouth… that zucchini is why I stop and eat at Farmer Boys. Greasy fingers means I got to run to the restroom to clean up, where I was approached for any extra change… yes, you feel compassionate, but no, I had no extra change. At least the RR was otherwise in clean order. Let’s check on my car and move away from the area. The 10FWY is just ahead. Would I come back to this place? Probably, the zucchini is worth the troubles!

Rhea was the sweetest and most helpful. She went out of her way to make sure we were really taken care of. We’ve never had that great of service at this location. She was awesome.

Farmer Boys is as good as it gets. This is Fast Food at its finest. I came here for lunch with a friend. It was pretty busy at 11a, in fact, they were almost full. We both had the same thing — the Club Sandwich Combo with onion rings, and a soda. The service is fast. They have four cash registers along the counter and four people taking orders. Two minutes in line. The food got delivered in about 8 — 9 minutes. The sandwich was just awesome. Warm, soft, tasty bread, fresh ingredients including the turkey and the bacon — yummy bacon… and crisp lettuce. The onion rings are really good — big and lightly breaded. They are not overcooked and nice and crispy. Someone stopped by to make sure we were doing good. As we finished up, and were sitting talking, someone stopped by and picked up our plates so we didn’t have to take them to the collection area. They don’t advertise it, but you can get refills on your soda by bringing the cup up to the counter. Farmer Boys is a chain. I think they are Franchises. But all of the ones I have been to have been equally as good.

After constantly eatin at the limited bore selections at the Greyhound food court. Farmer Boys is such a breath of fresh air! They have great selections of sandwiches, burgers n fries. They even have an extend selection of breakfast menu! The price is moderate n fair! If u r a late night traveler like me or a club hopper in the area. FB is a great place to chill afterward!

This farmer boy used to be good but it blows. The service is total crap. These girls walk around like their s*** don’t stank. You’re hired here to serve food to the people who paid. Why give attitude? Walking around like slugs. Lazy lazy lazy. Been here for nearly an hour and no food.

That wasn’t a burger, it looked more like a VW. I was very impressed. More impressed than when I saw Bruce Lee punch that guy in the video. Yes, that impressed! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was big, juicy and filling. Food coma will ensue so be prepared. The line can get pretty long so be prepared for the hustle. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating but parking can be difficult because the lot isn’t as big as you’d think. They had plenty of other food items but the shakes looked crazy good. No, I didn’t get one because I didn’t want to pass out before I got back to work. You’ll end up taking a to-go box because humans can’t finish all that food!!!

What a disappointment! Went for lunch, called in the order and everything goes smoothly until my coworker bites into her burger and theres no patty. It is literally just 2 small pieces of hamburger that look like they recycled from discarded burgers.

So being a Texas boy this place was a novelty for me. We got invited here by my father during our most recent business trip to LA. We were surprised to find this little gem tucked away in a mostly commercial area of town(lots of cold storage units ect). Either way we were pleased from the moment we walked in. The establishment was clean, employees were friendly and the kitchen was mostly open for the consumer to see. The burgers were a la cart and were really good. The ingredients were fresh and the taste was delightful. I would definitely come back next time I am on this side of the world.

Fantastic! I’ve heard so much about Farmer Boys– their burgers, shakes, and the fish & chips… I’ve got to say that all those were spoken with merit! It was totally unexpected for a place I once thought to be a regular fast food joint!(My mistake!) The selections are a plenty but I finally decided to settle on their delicious fish and chips meal, complete with salad and garlic bread, every bite into the enormous serving of deep fried and battered pollock was truly worth it! The fish was generous in size, perfectly fried and didn’t dry out, served on top of a mound of fries with delicious onion rings — this meal I believe is the perfect comfort food extravaganza! I loved it! My sister had their tuna sandwich which also got great reviews! The burgers that my friends had and the milk shakes… Oh my goodness! They were so good! After this initial-no less than impressive visit, I definitely have become a fan! It just proves to say that them farmer boys sure have some delicious secrets cooking in those pans! Yum!

This was my first time trying one of their tasty looking salads. I ended up ordering the grilled chicken salad. The portion is quite big, but once I got my salad, I noticed that the chicken was not grilled, it looked rather poached. The accompanying dressing(I chose Ranch) was quite watery. Overall, because I was hungry the salad was quite satisfying.

I was in the Downtown LA area and I happen to see this place. I tried the farmer Boys Burger. It was very good. The burger was messy. The chili fries were so good. I would go out again.

So I got an email that they had a breakfast special and I’ve been craving French toast so I thought I’d try em again. But the special was not for French toast but it’s ok, I’m hungry and I want that so I stood in line and it took forever for them to take orders but they could at least sound welcoming but no. Fine whatever I want my French toast but I’m hungry and I order other stuff(yes I’m a pig-don’t judge me). I find a seat and wait a long time for my meal. Finally it comes but no silverware. This has happened every single time I’ve come– they bring me my food without anything to eat it with. To top it off, they got my order wrong. Again. It sucks cause this is the closest place to me where I can get good French toast– well when they actually get my order right. Managers– seriously, get with the program.

Well i am giving farmer boys a four stars because they took so long yes i know they are making evrything fresg but it took them like 40minutes well that was disapointing but what cheered me up to giving this a 4 instead of a 2 was the food my hamburger was delicious. Note to self and piece of advice Never take the drive-thru
