By far the worst place i have ever been in. Will never recommend anyone here or come here again. Manager was not helpful at all. Waiters were rude and not helpful. The manager said herself her worker wasnt on his game. What a manager blamed everything on her worker. If you have any questions of my visit here please ask. Again by far the worst place again.

Great place service is really good and their hookah is great. They have nice seating and it’s very roomy and pretty. Décor is nice too and parking is never a problem. There is street parking though

First time here. Came here right before a Kings game. Damn this place is amazing. We did not smoke but we sure as hell wanted to as it smelled great. The sushi was off the chain.

When we first arrived the hostess said that she couldn’t sit us down in the big booth until someone left. Since there was five of us we had to sit in two different booths right after sitting down before we ordered some people left and when we got up to ask the hostess if we could change seats she said«no theres a waitlist» and let in the next people who walked up .The others came in and sat there it was a group of only three people… there was no waitlist after that the waitress made us order two different hookahs when we asked her to recommend a flavor she mentioned one but didn’t mention the price difference. When the bill came we realize they charged us for the hookah service the gratuity and something else the hookah she suggested was around $ 25 I could have gone to a smoke shop and bought my own at that point.

Food was really good, but we have been waiting for our drinks for like 30 mins. We told two people alreadyyy. Also, we changed our hookah and it sucks even more. It’s not hitting right, also complained about it and still nothing.

Great service! I was given great customer service from the time I arrived to the door to the time I left. Friendly staff with a cozy environment. They have really nice décor and they serve food such as sushi! I came to this place alone since my significant other doesn’t want to join… Yet I did not feel awkward being alone here. The lighting is not too dark nor bright. Staff comes by to check if I am satisfied. Very enjoyable and will return again!

Really loved this place. Went a couple days ago for date night and Santos took real good care of me and my boyfriend. Things that weren’t on the menu he made sure that we got to order! Didn’t get to hookah this time but for sure worth coming back to see how that experience is

I have been an on and off customer here since the very beginning, when there was a big Buddha statue right in the center, no sushi restaurant yet, and an open air roof. It seems that every time I go back to pay the place a visit(about once every 6 months) the place has gotten better. I go mainly for the hookah, which is EXCELLENT. Every. Single. Time. There’s nothing I hate more than going to a hookah bar where the staff doesn’t know how to properly pack a bowl, uses cheap coals, and is inattentive. Here, the draw is always smooth, flavor is always on point, and the prices are fair to boot. These are not cheap $ 20 plastic hookahs made in China, they are quality stuff. The sushi is also great, I highly recommend it. Haven’t tried any of their drinks yet, only bottled beers, but I am sure they do a great job in this area as well.

Amazing place. Really enjoy the seating, with the large sofa type spaces where you can snore hookah and enjoy the food. Sushi isn’t all that great but ambience is amazing and chill. Go there for happy hour. A little price my for regular times.

I first came across this place by accident while Unilocaling hookah places in the area. Even though it is in DTLA the street is clean and well lit. Lotus is now one of my favorite hookah lounges… Their hours are amazing and the food is reasonably priced for being really good sushi… The crowd mainly consists of USC students which makes it a nice mixed crowd.

I found Lotus on Unilocal while visiting Exposition Park and USC. The combination hookah bar and Asian Fusion restaurant was relatively deserted on a Tuesday night, but the Happy Hour specials looked too good to resist. The restaurant is tucked off the main streets, but is easy to find with the large lit signs. I was able to sample the menu with Hite on draught, fried rolls, and spicy tuna roll. Service and speed were good, but the food was about average. I enjoyed the food and the special pricing, but it would be hard to pay full price. This place looks like it fills up quick at night, but it is probably more of bar and nightclub with food rather than a destination restaurant.

Very cool place! I love sushi and Hookah is my favorite. Their sushi is really good however the hookahs are not always good. The mixed flavors that they have is pretty good my favorite is Deep John is called I believe. I suggest you to try this place.

Oh. My. God. I have a FUMO at home, and I’ve tried probably every single tobacco that exists. Except for Pan. And let me tell you, you haven’t lived, until you’ve tried it. But let me backtrack a little… My trip to Israel was coming up and, being the hookah lover that I am, I asked one of my friends which tobacco flavors I need to try, and the answer was: pan. Which they didn’t have in Israel. In fact, they had nothing but double apple and quick light coals :/Anyway, it’s been over a year since then and my pan-curiosity was unsatisfied. Until the Big Game. Stanford(my alma mater) vs USC(my friend’s alma mater) were playing, and of course we had to go. After the Big Win(if you’re rooting for Stanford) or an embarrassing loss(if you’re a USC fan), we decided to celebrate/forget the shame with hookah. Where should we go? Pan. Pan. Pan. Were the only words coming out of my mouth, seeing how the same person I was with was responsible for igniting my aforementioned pan-curiosity. And that’s how we ended up at Lotus. Huge couches, and great hookah. They’re not allowed to serve food where people smoke, so once the hunger took over my pan-satisfaction, we headed over to the restaurant portion of Lotus. And I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of fish was pretty good. I got a tuna sashimi and unagi sushi. Both were delicious. My friend ordered a couple of rolls, which he was also happy with. To sum it all up… Come here, smoke pan, eat sushi, and your life will instantly get better :)

Came on a Friday night with a friend for the first time. We went up to the bouncer and hostess and were actually seated immediately in the lounge area until there was further notice on an available table. The hookah was decent, not spectacular. But their selection of flavors was impressive. The food, however, was the best part of the night. Indescribably good!!! We had vegan egg rolls to start 10⁄10!!! I then had the vegan shabu and a Go Vegan Roll… WOW so much food but i made sure to not waste a bite of it. I’d go back here for the food definitely, but not my first choice for hookah.

The hookah was good, we loved the drinks and the lounge area… What we didn’t like was how disgusting the men and women’s restrooms were… the men’s room had puke everywhere, a toilet seat cover ripped off the toilet, toilet paper everywhere. The ladies to had bloody toilet paper on the floor. We’d love to comre back here again as long as the whole restroom situation is addressed. 3 out of 5

Love this place! Where else can you get sushi, hookah, alcohol, all in one place. The best days to go are on their weekdays, where it’s not as packed and very chill. Weekend nights are hoppin’. Good service, our waitress Janice was very attentive and was very friendly! Make sure to check-in to get a free miso soup when you purchase food! Music was spot on, edm, trap. Been there for HH(happy hour) too! BOGO sake. mm~

I love this place! The owner is amazing! The food is to die for. The hookah’s are bad a$$. Honestly I drive out here from the valley to eat and smoke here! If I could give them 100 stars I would! The sushi here is super fresh and tasty. Thumps up to this place. I am a very happy customer! I highly recommend this place! Ruby M

So many great things to say about this place! Let’s start with that, that happy hour was freaking amazing, not just with pricing but the happy hour menu was delicious! Highly recommend the garlic edamame, blueberry sake, and the vegas roll(this roll was not on happy hour pricing) Our waiter Ricky was extremely friendly, fast, knowledgable of menu and had a great sense of humor! He helped us not with just out food, but helped set up our hookah when we were done eating. Which was only $ 15 during happy hour. Place was clean, chill, relaxing and friendly. I would def come back again! This is like a hidden gem… The location isn’t ideal because anyone could pass it without them knowing it was there… But I had and my group had an amazing experience!!!
