Reviewing for La Mayordomia Bakery, a new business on Pico. So new, it’s not even showing up on Unilocal yet. This Bakery is part of the Expession Oaxaqueña chains of bussiness. They have fresh baked Mexican bread every morning and afternoon. On Friday’s they grind chocolate Oaxacan style. They sell bars of chocolate, ground cacao and also raw cacao. Lot’s of other traditional mexican candy, chips and pastries. Big variety of Southern Mexico pastries. Tiene reposteria de Puebla y Oaxaca.

The first time and last time I come to this restaurant. I came with my daughter we felt ignored the waitress came 40 minutes later to take our order and when we order it also took 40 minute as well. The employees are not enthusiastic and not happy. Food is okay.

My hubby and I love it. We have a toddler and most of their menu is finger food = Happy parents. We dine in most of our visits since I love the chips with molé. We like to sit down grab a few drinks and a little fruit while we wait for our meal. We do call in ahead and I guess thats why we get our food really quick. Menu isn’t complicated or intimidating like other places. Overall really clean and thats how I like it. Definitely worth the drive and I always leave happy and full.

I don’t know why there isn’t more positive reviews related to the restaurant dining. This place has really delicious food, such as tamales, chilaquiles, Alambres(fajitas), Tasajos and Cesinas. Sometimes their portions can be a bit overwhelming, so I suggest sharing a dish with another person(would remove half a star if I could). Their black coffee is very delicious, no need to add milk, thanks to the sweetness of sugar and cinnamon that gives it a nice flavor, and it’s not strong at all. Expect crowds on weekend mornings, so be patient. Aside from the restaurant, they have a bakery available to buy bread on the go or for the family. I never buy groceries here, but I appreciate their efforts to make it a one-stop shop. Give this place a shot, and I guarantee that you’ll not be disappointed with their food.

Hate it. I felt ignored even though I was next in line the cashier seemed more focused on taking a order of a group white males that were in back of me when I reach on the side of the counter to grab a mango. I felt like she needed to flirt more with the group of males than take my order. After that I asked her how much was for a bean and cheese burrito when she said $ 6 the same price as ones with meat… My opinion she just didn’t wanna deal with me and would rather giggle and laugh with the group of men than treat me equally –_– I was fed up… I paid for my mango and burrito. Later on I called to confirm again how much a bean and cheese burrito was which was $ 4!!!

Tamale($ 2.45 out the door), average tamale, okay flavor. Good variety in the panederia(no cakes/desserts that I saw though) — lots of people getting breakfast in the mornings. Slow service at the registers. Convenient for the location bc its kinda in the hood and so no grocery stores around.

Service is awful here! Hate coming to buy something that I forgot at the grocery store. This place is very convenient for me but trying to order meat from the the carniceria is horrible. Their workers have no customer service. And it’s kinda expensive especially the sweet bread.

I love this place but when it’s full of people and your hungry it’s not fun at all. I don’t like the long lines inside this local place. I think they need a new strategy to ordering food vs. paying for food. They have a bakery section, a meat section, and a dinning section of hot food. I have to wait in line to Oder and pay and then wait for my hot food. They need someone in the hot food section taking orders so it will make it an easy transaction for all. They only have two registers and trust me it gets pack in this place usually around 7:00 pm. The positive side is that they open really early 6:30am!!! They also need more trays for the bread selection. Other than that this place is still great! I’m a regular here, although I don’t check in all the time.
