Love the new welcoming environment! I’m a local that grew up with this burger stand for years and i can definitely say that the quality and service of the place is awesome. Same great taste with better service. I guess change is good. I can’t wait to see what they do to the place. Coming here more often for sure.

They went through pains to communicate that this place has a new owner. The dude said it like 3 times. Looking at some of these old reviews, I can see why. Don’t look at those, look at this one.
Trust me. This is a good-​ass greasy spoon that’s dirt cheap and English speaking. And they take card!
Eat here for lunch. Get the chicken burger. Your wallet and stomach will be happy.
Your arteries, not so much.

Damn good burger! Asked for a double cheeseburger and added pastrami! Wow! What a sight and tasted great! Nice crispy off the skillet style burger very diner like. Cooked to order and they even showed me the burger for my approval. Class act. Small place with a drive thru and feels very local. Can’t wait to go back and try the teriyaki beef choices and get an orange drink! Yum!

I got a beef and chicken plate and the beef was kind of like jerky, not in a bad way. The chicken was alright. The rice was pretty freakin good. Big serving. Mostly my only issue was the small side salad was drenched in thousand island sauce. I really like thousand island sauce but it was way too much. Good place to check out if you’re hungry and in the area. I think they might have a student discount too.

Under new ownership and simply amazing. Try the Vanilla shake. It’s sexual lol. They are still working out the menu but the food quality is soooo much better then before.

I came to place an order and the cook told me «you order when i tell you to order. He was very RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL. I have been coming here for years and came from a far distance only to leave without my order. I will not be returning here if this guy is still working here he needs to have an etiquette class or learn how to deal with customers

This place is awesome! The staff members were very welcoming and friendly. The food came out hot and fresh and was as good as it gets. There is ample parking and plenty of nice big tables. Definitely will return.

The teriyaki chicken bowl & teriyaki chicken tacos are the best. They are so delicious. I grew up going to eat there all the time. I’ve been eating there for about 20 years now. Food is good.

Oh my to the goodness! This place is so good I ate there for breakfast, lunch and dinner! If you want clean quality food, this is where to come. It is a conglomeration of asian, american and mexican influences. The beef teriyaki and chicken w/​fried chicken is cooked to perfection. If you don’t like this place, you’re trippin!

Cash only. Lame, but the convenience store in the same parking lot has an ATM. It has a service fee ($ 2, I think), but also a security guard.
I’ve been here a few times. It’s pretty good. Expect quality fast food with quick service and cheap prices, but nothing more.

Ok i like this place… quite a bit actually… Just by looking at the address you know it isn’t going to be classy joint and its not by any means… the parking lot is almost always swarming with people who are either mentally challenged or homeless and the bars on the windows and doors dont make for the most homely décor… but who cares… I go there for the shrimp basket and damn is it good… the hamburgers aren’t bad either, if you don’t get too crazy like Eli did… The portions are large especially their drinks and the horchata is really good and they serve a lot… best advice… go when its daylight…

i had high hopes for dan’s. my last two burger encounters in the hood were amazing. but dan’s fell short in a few ways.
i ordered some ridiculous burger with egg, bacon, cheese and pastrami. sounds good right? trust me it does sound good. that and a large horchata.
the horchata is HUGE! i like that. it has ice, i don’t like that. burger comes and right off the bat i notice a major problem. they cooked the egg all the way through. meaning no runny yoke to drip over my burger. very sad. next fault, the pastrami. it’s thickly cut, chewy and dry. buried beneath these faults was yet another fault. the burger was lost under the toppings and had no flavor that could cut through the mess on top. i didn’t even notice cheese in my burger. bacon was good, but i’ve still yet to come to a place that effs up bacon.
i left full but not happy. be warned — some burger joints ARE as bad as they look.
