I drive past this location nearly every day on the way to work, but I have never stopped because the parking lot is small and always full. I’m familiar with the other Campos Tacos locations and have wanted to try this one because it opens early. Today I stopped on a whim because there was actually parking. I was really impressed when I stepped inside! It was spacious and very clean. It had the salsa bar just like the other locations, with lots of cups and lids. My food was ready quickly, and was the typical Campos food, which I really like. I also purchased a cup of salsa to go, because their medium salsa is the best! Can’t go wrong on the price either! I hope to find easy parking again so that I can come back!

Driving down Venice Boulevard I pulled up to Campos tacos because I wanted something Mexican. There was no other locations in the area from Lincoln going eastbound that were open as far as Mexican restaurants Go. I ordered the breakfast plate number 4. 2 eggs and toast and hash browns. Please note that the menu says hashbrowns but they are diced potatoes. The eggs were delicious the potatoes didn’t need any flavor. The toast was good and for $ 3.50 I think it was a good selection for me because I wasn’t starving and I didn’t want to over eat. I did not like that it was cold inside being that it was 8 o’clock in the morning. Also they have a pretty good sized dining area where plenty of people can sit. The Mexican drink champurrado, the only size they had was $ 3. Usually a lot of different places it’s like 1.50. I thought that was too much for one cup. Other than that I probably will return. I was served rather quick. But I guess that was predictable being that I was the only one in there besides somebody who had just walked out with their order.

I’ve been around los angeles for about 3 months now and these were the worst tacos I’ve had in all my time and I’ve had PLENTYOF tacos from food trucks, restaurants and more. It was just dry taco meat and the salsas were also subpar. Nothing creative to this place and overpriced for their bad tacos. I got the taco combo to be able to try all three meats and I would have liked to get lengua(tongue) but they charge an extra dollar or two for that. Deems like all the meat is already out and ready and they semi microwave it up. barely hot when I got my order ready. I bit into my tacos and was not impressed at all with how Luke warm they all were and very dissapointing salsas to accompany it. Will not be going there at all again and do not recommend it to anyone. find another place, save time and money.

I had a carnitas plate today and it was AWESOME! It was 100% legit Mexican food. This might be my new favorite place, I will definitely be back!

The worst Mexican food I’ve ever had in California. Taquitos were small and the meat was dry with no seasoning. Guacamole was gross and runny. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

We live nearby on Venice Blvd and it’s hard not to walk a couple of blocks to eat Campo’s every day. We’ve had delicious burritos, tacos, and tortas of all flavors and their salsa bar rules as well. Do yourself a favor and eat here. A lot.

Ordered chicken tacos. At first when I got them I wasn’t thrilled how they looked. I thought they chicken would be dry and tasteless… Well that was not the case at all. The chicken was delish, juicy and flavorful. It was a simple taco topped with lettuce and cheese, just added some salsa and it was perfect!

Very disappointed on this place, tacos were not that goid, You know what they: You can always judge a Mexican restaurant by its tacos, and these tacos were terrible, really how do You mess up cabeza tacos? Or al Pastor? Salsa it’s weak as well, I will not be stopping by this place again.

Was here a couple nights ago, food was OK but the heavy guy working the register with glasses and goatee was so rude and nasty it made me never want to go back there–

Service wasn’t pleasant, as my first expression I did not felt welcomed. Although the food was delicious I would come back for the good food.

Now there have been many-a-Sunday mornings that I’ve drug myself here after a night of partying on the town just for their hangover cure: Menudo. It’s the best I’ve ever had, hands down, in all of Southern California! Simmered to perfection, it’s flavorful, fresh, filling, and consistently delicious! The parking lot is a squeeze, having only like 7 available spaces for several businesses, but I also park on Venice Blvd as well as the side street just a few steps east of Campos. I always get fast, friendly service here but perhaps that’s because I’ve been going here for years, the employees know me, and they also personally knew my husband from many years ago.

I love this place. Been coming here since it opened. The Super Macho burrito is amazing, full of meat, lettuce, cheese, and covered in amazing enchilada sauce. The Super Nachos are equally as good, as are the enchiladas, and tortas. Plus they have a fresh salsa bar. Only downside here is the parking lot which is small and can get tight. Still, worth the hassle to park.

The guy taking orders was a jerk. He was hiding on the back. I had to say hello 3 times before he came out. I ordered a chorizo burrito. He refused to make a chorizo burrito! I don’t understand why?!

More or less around the corner for me, so a frequent stop especially when convenience is the motivator. I always do take out; usually only wait 5 – 7 minutes, and the guys behind the counter and the grill are friendly enough. I wouldn’t call this ‘fresh-mex’; it’s on the heavy side — very cheesy and saucy. Exactly what you expect when you go to most Mexican food restaurants! I’ve ordered the breakfast burrito; tasty and filling; I think I got 3 meals out of it; great value. I’ve also had the enchilada — would have liked more sauce on top but chicken was tender and I enjoyed it. Though there are a lot of items on the menu I want to try, my favorite and frequent go-to is their fish taco combo(a lighter option and very tasty!). I’m a long time fan of Taco Del Mar, and there aren’t any within a reasonable distance. This is the only place I’ve found that comes close. One wish list item: to go menus so I could call in my order ahead of time if I decided not to go with my standby :)

I’d go for four and a half stars if I could — menu is perfect if you just want to get a pile of small and earth shatteringly tasty plates. The salsa verde will burn a hole right through your tongue but the rest of it is just tasty, tasty, tasty. Staff were friendly and put up with our touristy ways with no fuss. We had carne Asada tacos which had finely diced onion and coriander with perfectly grilled meat, lime to squeeze over it and a couple of soft tortillas — perfect!

I grew up in the hood… And I’m use to paying no more than $ 1.50 for tacos… Out in the westside, these tacquerias hike up the prices bc the gringos can afford it! Like the DTLA dirty dogs… You talk to them in Spanish they’ll hook you up the homies price. You don’t– $ 5 for a hotdog. Anyhow, this place sells good tacos for $ 1.50. It didn’t give me the BG’s so no complaints here! Get the chicken taco it’s a little bit more expensive but it’s twice as large than the average taco. It didn’t have that old chicken taste that you sometimes get from el pollo loco. Overall it’s 3 stars(not bad) based on taste, 4th star bc of the prices. Also if you’re close to «Olympic and 14th St.» hit up that Tacos Por Favor. That place is fairly priced too and the tacos are real good! Be sure it’s the one on Olympic and 14th street!

This location has free parking. It has tight parking, but it is free parking. That deserves a star all by itself. The food here is okay. Not the greatest quality, but it is pretty decent, the portions are huge, plus I like that they have lingua tacos. I have not tried them yet, but it was cool to see that they are an option at only $ 1.50 a pop.

A big olé burrito, but a more limited menu than the Jefferson(Culver City) location. They don’t offer crunchy tacos, like the CC location does, nor do they offer shredded beef, as the CC location does. If I want a burrito the size of a football, I’ll come here, sure. But, if I want a DELICIOUS burrito the size of a football, I’ll have to keep looking. The carne asada was flavored nicely, but there was too much connective tissue that hadn’t been cooked down, resulting in a rather chewy texture at times. Flavors here are pretty consistent, and yes, the tacos are affordable, but with so many other options within one mile of this spot, I just can’t justify throwing anymore of my coin at this location… Which sucks, because they are within walking distance of me. What can I say? I’ve yet to find a Campos in LA that measures up to the location in Culver City. If you like the Venice & McLaughlin location, TRUSTME, go the extra miles to CC. You will be forkin’ shocked at the difference!

Of all the Campos locations, I’ve been coming to this one the longest. The food is really good. They have great tacos and enchiladas. Their salsa bar is nice as well. This isn’t the nicest looking of all the locations… the one in Marina Del Rey looks a little more appeaing inside, but the food is better here :) The only downside to this location is that they charge for refills. Bummer.

Walked in here the other night and ordered the carne asada combo(3 tacos and a drink for $ 7.95). They give you a lot of meat and wrap it in two corn tortillas. Not too bad. My friend ordered the 3 fish taco combo, and it was nasty. The fish tasted like it had freezer burn. The upside is that the chips and salsa tasted homemade, and the dude working the register was nice. Tacos are normally $ 2.75 each. Not worth it.
