I’ve experienced WAYYY better service at ghetto Mc Donald’s. I feel bad for the lady who works here, she looks DEPRESSED. As soon as my cousin, her man, and i walked into BK i expected a smile ATLEAST. I didn’t get ANYTHING. NOT A «HI», NOT A «WELCOME», NOT A SMILE! Literally! The lady has the saddest face ever. She only looked at me and even when i went up to the register but STILL didn’t say anything. Not even«what would you like?» or «ready?» NOOTTTHIIING. I was amazed! I told her I wanted the chicken strips and yeah she took my order and just said the price. I paid, i looked around to the back staff and there was a pregnant manager there. No one did anything. It felt so weird. I think they work in fear… i wont be back here. I just came because it was next to the Thai place my cousin had gone to.

guest from across the pond wanted to eat here. said his burger sat coollng on the counter while they took a further ten minutes to fry the fries. he was over-charged almost $ 5, but coming from a foreign perspective, did not realize it at first. apparently even with a computer that does all the math for them, the clerks can’t count. unfortunately, i was not there to call them on their incompetence, so to Unilocal! be forewarned, or avoid entirely.

Efficient and clean. The food is standardized as it should be — assembled well. Enough said, it’s BK.

It’s a chain restaurant so the food is meh. Not great but not bad either just something to eat if your hungry and don’t really want to think about it. You can never go wrong with the Whopper since its always good. They do offer refills for a price and they have a restroom for customers.

I really struggled to put two stars instead of one. This was one of the most disappointing meals I have had in months. I guess to be fair this review is more about Burger King itself rather than this location. So I’ll say a few things about the location itself. –clean –nice menu boards –small but adequate outside eating area. My friend and I wanted to get some chicken after church yesterday. We thought about KFC but we decided to go to Burger King across the street since we thought it would be cheaper. For the better part of a year now I have been singing BK’s praises for their thoughtful timing in introducing their popcorn chicken right after KFC screwed their own famously good popcorn chicken right off the menu. BK’s bite-size chicken option was not quite as good as KFC’s or the new chicken at Weinerdog but it was the cheapest. And it was good! Saddly BK does not offer popcorn chicken anymore. :( So I tried the chicken nuggets. BK has always been fairly fickle when it comes to their chicken nuggets.(or at least for the last 6 to 7 year anyway) they used to have nice little«chicken tenders,» which gave way to similar tasting«chicken crowns,» which gave way to «chicken fries,»(shudder) which eventually led to the glorious popcorn chicken that I mentioned before. Sadly this has now given way to a dry poorly textured nugget that no longer resembles their tasty tenders but instead emulates the infamous Mc Nugget that has been served at Mc donalds for decades to anyone who is willing to eat them. The fries were ok and the BBQ sauce made the nuggets eatable. But after a while even the sauce didn’t help. Both my friend and I threw out half our meal and spent the rest of the afternoon feeling hungry and let down.

(Took Out 10÷16÷12TU @ 8pm): The original healthy fast food… or that was my impression growing up! Thanks to some recent promotional coupons that showed up in our mailbox weeks again, my friend and I finally had a lazy evening of not cooking and planned to venture to the nearest Burger King(in Echo Park) and took advantage of discounted food. Now, I’m generally not a fast food fan, but I was raised on Burger King(whenever fast food was an option) and I’ve learned to appreciate and ultimately like the Whopper. Growing up, the commercials touted the flame-broiling of the patties versus McDonald’s and all other burger joints frying(and thus, worse for you) theirs. That stuck with me to this day… After a short drive, we pulled into the poorly laid-out parking lot, carefully perforated the coupons we planned on using, and eagerly walked into the restaurant and straight to the order counter. Aside from the four gentlemen who sat, ate, and watched a soccer match between Mexico and El Salvador, we were the only customers, so literally, the floor was ours! I threw down the buy one get one free Whopper coupon(normally $ 3.59 ea.) and a $ 1.00 mini Cinnabon coupon(normally $ 1.99). Onion rings(large order $ 2.29) were also on the menu, so you knew I had to get me some of that! My friend used the $ 3.99 coupon for a 2 Whopper Jr. and 2 small fries meal; damn! As we waited, I watched them freshly prepare our burgers(a very good sign!). The onion rings and fries were in warming trays. Soon, our food was ready packaged in two white branded paper bags. Everything smelled wonderful! We rushed home, grabbed a couple cold ones from the freezer, settled in front of the TV, popped in «Captain America», and commenced with the eating. My Whoppers(yes, I ate both!) looked and tasted fabulous! Each was wrapped up neatly as all the components were evenly placed. There was no need for additional condiments; just eat as-is. All of the ingredients were fresh from the crispy lettuce, plump tomato slices, and mouth-watering patties. Yummy! All I needed now was a $ 5.00 shake! ONIONRINGSALERT… All I can say is I’ve certainly had better. First, I was disappointed in the size when I got it. It sure didn’t look like a large to me. Second, they looked more like calamari rings than onion rings because they were so small. Third, they were rather bland. I got the buffalo sauce for them and that helped, but it shouldn’t had to. Sorry, I can’t recommend these onion rings. The mini Cinnabon was another disappointment. You got just one mini thing no larger than a donut hole. Although it smelled of cinnamon and frosting goodness, it was a tad cold and also was kind of bland. A shame, I tell you… The service was very good. The gentleman who helped us was very professional, attentive, and made sure we received everything we needed with our meals. Parking was decent as they share it with several other businesses like a Thai restaurant, Domino’s Pizza, a laundromat, and more. And as I stated earlier, the configuration of the lot is a bit snug and disjointed. There also was metered street parking along Glendale Blvd. and the surrounding side streets. Overall, Burger King(my main location when I grew up was the one in Glendale on Colorado Blvd.) has been one of a few fast food places I’ve enjoyed. It has always been about the Whopper for me and nothing else. Sure, they have expanded their menu selection and offered healthier fare as most have, but I always thought their burgers were healthy based on their claims. I found decent value based on the prices I quoted above(total bill for only me was around $ 7.00 after coupons; no tip required), but even without the coupons, the Whopper at regular prices was still a heck of a deal! The atmosphere was an odd confluence of standard fast food décor with tables and chairs throughout, but there were some stylish 60’s-looking lamps which hung above the booth seats, and there was a nice flat-screen TV where we were all watching the soccer match. The place was also exceptionally clean. Of course, there was a drive-thru. The attire was totally casual, so I was in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. And they accepted my credit card of choice… AMEX!

Definitely one of my favorite Burger Kings. The crew that work there now is fantastic. Fast service and very respectful. Definitely looks better than what it was back in the 90s. Too bad there’s no wifi. However, food tastes 10x better than the Mcdonalds down the street.

I went here with a friend in a hurry, and ordered large fries because I was under the impression that would take less than ten minutes to make. Unfortunately, the woman working was apparently contemplating her role in the universe and had come to some pretty depressing conclusions, and took an absolutely insane amount of time to complete the transaction. After taking my card, she wandered around for a few minutes, swiped it, gave it back, and then left the room for eight minutes. She seemed extremely forlorn and depressed, and after looking at the deep frier with a weird resentment, just left. I nearly crawled through the drivethrough window myself to just get the fucking food. FINALLY, she came back, wandered around for a little more, and found the french fry bin. She slowly, reluctantly scooped a few french fries which had been sitting out the entire time into the container, and then slowly meandered back to the window to hand me the tepid, stale fries. Total time to complete handing me french fries that had been sitting there the entire time? Around 12 minutes. I have no idea where she went in the middle of this transaction, but I very nearly gave her the number of a suicide hotline because she looked like she wanted to die.

I am not surprise that the reviews are awful. I have been to this location a few times and I tell you service, what service? None of their employees are smiling, greeting nor thanking you. I feel like I’m not welcome at all. I do my laundry next door and didn’t have a choice sometimes but never again.

I used to frequent Burger King often, and I have to say that this particular Burger King franchise is by far the worse of all the BKs I have been to. I’ve been to this joint many times growing up and it has deteriorated over the past years to the point where I’ll never eat here again. 15 minutes wait on a single Whopper w/cheese burger, while an order taken after mine consisting of multiple value meals were processed first? Let’s not forget about the high school drop-outs burger flippers in the back horseplaying around and chasing each other in plain eff’in sight! Fawk this BK.
